The evening menu for the restaurant is really inadequate with very little choice If you are below a room with a spa bath it can be very noisy

I used “free parking” as a filter to book this room. I think it is misleading for the hotel to be allowed to say it has free parking, when in reality they have paid garage parking. “Free” is if you can find street parking.

The rooms were huge! Shower was excellent. Good quality fixtures and fittings. Excellent breakfast. Pool area very pleasant. Well situated for visiting the old town. Secure underground parking was excellent.

The lighting in the car park did not remain on long enough while loading and unloading motorbikes.

Amazing hotel in a really nice village. Staff were lovely, breakfast excellent. Reasonably priced secure parking if needed. Would highly recommend this hotel

Excellent hotel, with great design features and art. The outside terraces, pool, unusual bar etc looked great but we couldn’t sample those as it was raining. Lovely attentive staff.

Everything is nice and modern, designed in every little detail. Luxury that exceeds 4 stars. We loved absolutely everything.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful and relaxing stay with extremely comfortable bed. Great location. Staff are clearly trying very hard with strong attention to detail. We'd definitely stay again.

The rat was a bit pricey given the fact that breakfast wasn't included. Breakfast seemed expensive for what it was but it wasn't a show stopper.

Loved the location. Very close to the town, easy to park, helpful staff, very fresh and clean facilities. we didn’t use the pool, but the idea of an inside and outside bar is good, and the design was inviting. cocktails were tasty. we also walked to the museum, which was 2km each way in the sunshine.

not really interested in a bath in the bedroom, so didn’t use it, but didn’t detract from our trip. we did find that we were woken up at 2am one night, as the people in the room above ours unplugged their bath, ha ha !

We liked the hotel Cuevas very much, especially the breakfast, rooms, bar and garden. The staff was exceptionally helpful and attentive.

For us, this hotel had it all: great location (just outside busy touristy center), easy parking (out front for free or for just €10,= /day inside), nice pool, great bar (inside and out), great breakfast, very nice comfy room, mostly at the back which made it quiet. Recommendations for restaurants although they have there own (go to Gran Duques!) and the close proximity to Altamira and the historical center of Santillana del Mar. We loved it!

We made it a sport to find anything we didn't like, just because the hotel is so good. We came up with the use of plastic (in straws, in toiletry packs etc.) Otherwise no negatives: we really, really enjoyed our stay!

Don’t hesitate to stay here! everything about the hotel is modern, clean, and new. having a jacuzzi tub in the room was such a cool feature and totally worth it. the terrace and pool area was very hip and cool. the service and attention from the staff was an extra special touch that made us feel very welcome. they invited us to a dessert and sparkling wine at check in and provided a little tote with snacks and water at check out. they also upgraded our room just because there was availability so we ended up in a room with a balcony and view of the pool. there was also free shirts and slippers for us to change into when we got into the room. the bed was incredibly comfortable also!! i would’ve stayed here much longer if I could’ve. best hotel I’ve stayed at in Spain in the month we’ve been traveling around!

This is hotel is such a gem. We couldn’t fault anything about our stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, exceptionally well maintained and all the staff go the extra mile to be helpful.

Really good hotel. Great location to visit the village. Super friendly staff, they make your stay even better. Pool area is lovely, the bar does really great cocktails. And the room is great too. Highly recommended!
