Nic was the perfect host, sending us detailed explanation and photos of how to get to the apartment before we arrived, and sharing recommendations for restaurants when we arrived. The apartment location is ideal for exploring Como, a short walk from the lake itself. It was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and comfortable for our family of four. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Nico's apartment in the heart of Como's old town, just minutes from the Duomo, is one of the best apartments we've ever had the pleasure of staying in Italy. And since my wife is half Italian, we are in Italy quite often. The apartment is on the second floor of a very modern converted convent from the Middle Ages and is ideal for couples. But children are also very welcome at Nico’s, we have been there with our two young sons recently. The rooms are clean and very stylishly furnished and have a special charm. Thanks to the well equipped kitchen and the laundry room, you can easily spend a longer time in the apartment. The evening can be spent nicely on the cozy terrace. Although the apartment is located in the citys center, it is always quiet there - our peace was not disturbed once. The surroundings are perfect. Around the apartment you can find many small cafes (tip: Café Margherita) and restaurants, and also the best pizza (Pizzaria Lariana) in town is only a few minutes away. In the city center, at the lake or even at the train station (convenient for a trip to Milan) you are in about 5 minutes by walking. Nico is a very warm host who is always there for his guests and has good tips. And also has further plans for the apartment, which is why it is constantly being expanded and modernized.

There are no negative things to report. Only the high stairs leading into the apartment should be an obstacle for people who are not good on foot. And why is there a Nespresso machine in the apartment, when there is the best cafe in northern Italy virtually on the doorstep ; )

Very nice appartment and also the host is very kind and can tell you a lot about all the beautiful places in Como.

The location, just outside the center of Como, was perfect. Free parking in a semi-closed parking lot in front of the apartment. The apartment was very clean, air-conditioned and had all appliances one could need. The host informed us about local restaurants, markets, swimming options and a boat excursion to Bellagio.

If, and only if, I had to mention one thing it would be that there are 4 stairs to be climbed before entering the apartment. But with a normal condition no problem and also good to burn those pasta-calories.

the Apartment is very modern & close to the city center (3 minutes walk) the parking space is a great plus.... what make this place realy the best is it owner Nic, he is a wonderful host and very helpful could not ask for more
