Dam is a fantastic host, he is so helpful, and is a kind and generous man - we loved getting to know him and he was the best host we had in Sri Lanka! The room has everything you need, good aircon, and a comfy bed. The bathroom was clean, and very good shower. It was very helpful to be able to do laundry for free too! And there is a little kitchenette. The location is great, walking distance from the Galle Fort and Bus station or a 5 min tuk tuk ride. Great stay, we would definitely recommend!

I had the most wonderful stay at the White House Apartment. Dam and his wife are such special hosts, who not only made me feel right at home, but went above and beyond with their generous hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble. From a very thoughtful and delicious breakfast, to dropping me off at the Fort both days to explore (and the station for my early train), as well as a trip to the pharmacy, free laundry, and plenty of great conversations. The apartment itself was perfect, with a super comfortable bed and air con, kitchen and great bathroom. The loveliest, most kind-hearted people, and an absolute highlight of my trip. I couldn’t recommend booking here enough.

Toller Gastgeber, kümmert sich um alles, hat mich zum Fort und zum Bus gefahren und mir Frühstück gebracht, obwohl es eigentlich nicht inklusive war. Großes Apartment, sauber, Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer funktioniert einwandfrei, Waschmaschine mit Waschpulver vorhanden.

I experienced Mr Dam as an extremely sweet and hospitable person, very caring and a special person. He also made me a very nice meal with okra salad, which I really enjoyed. Also, I got to borrow his blue Lamborghini, the Davud Akhunzada (our favorite YouTuber) vehicle, to cycle to the Galle Fort, just over 5 minutes away. I had an extremely wonderful stay. Super clean and large apartment. Thanks also for arranging the Safari tour trip to Udawalawa.

First of all, there's the host dam. Amazing person, very caring. He speaks English fluently and is an interesting conversationalist. The housing unit is large with a fully equipped kitchen and basically everything you need. highly recommend.

Dam was the best host we've ever met! He was so kind and helpful. We cooked together for free, he drove us to the train station to buy our tickets, he advised us on what to see and do in Galle and would drive us everywhere without charging anything. His food was delicious!
