Best quality self catering accom we've ever booked. Exceptional sea view from spacious balcony. Kitchen kit top notch, shops, restaurants 10min walk. Get used to slopes, sea swims excellent down the steep hill, but by the end of the week I ran up in 2:15. We would gladly return. Location excellent, 15mins from airport, Funchal similar. Bus 3 min walk, car hire Tamariz 10 mins, taxis. Lots of choices.

Little not to like. Mike is owner manager so it matters to be in top condition and tasteful, not fussy furnishings. He's very helpful, accessible by text.

Great location with a fantastic view over the ocean. Apartment is lovely and very well equipped. It had a lovely big terrace to sit on with very good restaurants close by. Quiet area of Caniço but there is a good bus service to the local town and to Funchal if you don't have a car.

Steep descent & ascent to very good restaurant by beach - we are 79 & 81 years - we managed but it's challenging.
