The accom is clean, quiet and comfortable. My room had a lovely shower. The main strength is the owner Ray. Just so helpful and friendly, helped me store my bike. I would recommend highly.

The Square is ideally located in the centre of Fermoy. The rooms are newly refurbished, well appointed and very clean. There is a separate lounge and well stocked kitchen to use and Ray the proprietor is very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay with our boys and will surely be back.

Ray, the host was super friendly and helped us upstairs with our luggage. Per the reviews, there are stairs to climb, and he is aware of the concerns, and made sure he helped get our heaviest bags up to our room. He spent plenty of time to let us know where everything was, recommended a few places for a pint, and also an excellent spot for breakfast the next morning. Great host.
The comforter/cover on the bed wasn't as "fresh smelling" as we had hoped for. I noticed but it didn't bother me as much as it did my wife. This was about the only disagreement we had on our 12 day trip about the places we stayed. I loved it, she was just okay with it. I'd stay again.

The description of the apartment is a bit misleading. On the one hand it states that there is a shared kitchen. However, it also states that each unit comes with a fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and wardrobe. For our room, this was not true. All kitchen facilites are shared and we had no wardrobe or mirror that could used in the bedroom.

Very nicely decorated. Great facilities to use in the kitchen. The bed is very comfortable to sleep in.The shower was lovely with good force of water.

This accommodation was perfect for two nights' stay while attending an event in the area. The bedroom, on the second floor, was spacious, bright and clean with an excellent view over the town and river. The kitchen, below on the first floor, had all the facilities I needed, and the host was extremely helpful with recommendations of restaurants, etc. The one thing i expected to be a problem, parking, proved very easy despite the town centre location - on arrival, and each time I returned, I found a space directly outside.

I was met by Joe who was extremely helpful and pleasant. Would really recommend a stay here really centeral to everything.

Ray is a very nice host. Very central to all shops. My room had a beautiful view of the Blackwater River. Parked in the library carpark (free at Christmas time). My room was massive!! The whole place was spotless. Clean ensuite. Tv in my room too! Ray was more than helpful. The kitchen and sitting room are very nice. Make your own meals, store your own food in fridge too.

There was no parking set aside; VERY hard to find the place, with only a small sign well above our heads. The long stair way to the room was a bit of a handicap. My husband is a heart patient and we were not prepared for that. The host was helpful.
