We were notified when we were almost to our destination that the pool was closed due to a limb falling making it as though it had just happened which was clearly not the case, we couldn’t even use the grills. That are clearly had been shut down for a while! They did give us a 15% discount, it should have been more. Also,you could not adjust the thermostat and we were extremely hot! The thermostat was programmed it was 85 a couple of nights, no ceiling fans only a small fan in the bedroom that stood on the floor. The beds are like sleeping on the floor. They definitely need some upgrades! It was clean, but false advertisement on the amenities that should have been disclosed when booking

With young children and older people, the pool was the one thing that we all enjoyed. Ian with River City Resorts was helpful but he could do nothing about the lack of a pool. Our condo was nice and we would stay there again but others in our group were not so lucky. There is a great deal of disparity in the condos, depending on how much the owner has remodeled. So be sure to look at the pictures carefully. Maintenance was quick to follow up. The property is about 50 years old and it shows. We have been coming to the new Braunfels area for 40:years. It will be out last time. Too crowded to relax and enjoy the city and nearby Greene.

The location is very good for tennis, tennis at Newks, or just getting away. the deer come right up to your door! The condo was clean and in good shape. The rental management staff was friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have a keyless entry so the renter does not have to drive into New Braunfels for the key and drive back in to return the key. I would stay here again.

We were not planning on spending much time here but wound up really enjoying the property. It can be a little tricky to find but once you find your way around it's not too bad. The property is older and not updated but it is VERY clean, which is more important to me. Overall, I plan on staying here again and would easily recommend it to a friend.

We immediately had to star killing bug and spiders it was late so I could not call the office. Then went to take a shower mold was in the top of the celling and the showerhead spraying water everywhere this is the master bedroom, also the other bathroom had rust over the shower. I was woke up by two bugs crawling over me in the bed about 6:30 am I staring call I talk with the manger told her about everything she sent the maintenance guy over and he spray mean green over the mold and look for bugs and explain to me he could not do nothing else that the owner would have to make a decision to cut it out. so I call her back and she move us to another unit when I got there it was a two bedroom not a three which I had already paid an advance 2 weeks early because this is their policy. so I call her back for the third time and all she did was defend her decision by telling me she had already rent the other unit out by another family and the 2 bedroom cost the same as the 3 bedroom which I know is not true. after about 10 min of me explaining to her that we are far from home and one couple did not have a bedroom due to the nasty unit we had a first they would have to go out and try to find a hotel room and pay again this is not far she told me she would give me 10% of my money back which she came up with 71.25 but we paid 995.98 for a 3 bedroom not a 2.The second unit was nice just not what we paid for. This ruined our whole vacation because we could not stay together like we paid for and like we plan for. The second couple did go home. No rooms
