L'appartement a 15 ans et se trouve dans une rue calme très proche de l'Acropole et des quartiers de Plaka d'Athènes - vous pouvez y aller à pied en 20 minutes. Il est à proximité des stations de Petralona et Thissio trains (partie des métro d'Athènes -15 mn à pied) et à côté de l'arrêt de bus qui vous emmène à Omonia et Syntagma Square. Le bâtiment ne compte que 3 appartements et est situé sur une colline (pente ouest de la colline de Phillopapou) avec une vue agréable. Les zones Acropole et de Plaka sont une promenade facile et il ya de petites tavernes et autres boutiques dans le quartier. Il est au 2ème étage donnant sur un parc et dispose d'un ascenseur. Il est entièrement meublé avec des meubles modernes et la cuisine est entièrement équipée.

Don't second guess yourself, book this awesome apartment for your vacation in Athens!!! My wife and I had a lovely stay here from start to finish. The owner Zios was kind enough to schedule a taxi for us from the airport which made it stress free for our first time visiting Greece. Upon arrival, Maria the cleaning lady was there to greet us, show us around the apartment, and hand over the keys. The apartment is just a short walk away to all the sights and sounds. It was nice coming back to a quiet neighborhood at the end of the day. We highly recommend the Valitsa restaurant, its a yellow tavern around the corner from the apartment. The food is authentic and to die for!

The apartment was in a great location just two Metro stops from Monastraki Square (it was a 5 minute walk from the apartment to the Metro).
Communication with Zois was excellent from the moment we booked and the additional information document he provided was extremely useful indeed. The check in with Maria also went smoothly too and she was there to meet us and check us out.
The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped and accessible within walking distance of the Acropolis. The local area was very quiet, with the only downside being that a few local amenities were closed due to the bank holiday, but that was simply the timing of our visit in mid August. We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment and Athens were great.

The apartment was exactly as described-very clean and good neighborhood. Lots of good restaurants, coffee and grocery stores within 10 minute walk and key sites within 20-25 minute walk. Beds were comfortable. Washing machine was very helpful to have (and clothes lines were set up and easily accessible outside bedrooms). Zois was very responsive and Maria (caretaker) was very nice and the apartment was very clean. The AC was needed and worked perfectly. The park across the street has turtles and we really enjoyed seeing them eating in the morning as we walked to Parthenon or the montastiraki markets (their food bowls are near the fence and someone feeds them there). The price was very reasonable for the apartment.

Our stay could not have been better. After many years of visiting Athens in various locations and times of the year I've finally got it about right. This location is not the center for tourists, about 15 or 20 walk to the Acropolis Museum, but it is a fine quiet residential neighborhood with local cafes and 'normal' prices. Just several hundred meters from the Pnyx, the Bema and Fillapappos Hill. The huge second floor balcony looking into the park made every meal fabulous... on and on..

We had a great time in Zois apartment. Maria and her son met us and showed us around, Zois arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport. The neighborhood is great, walkable, lots of restaurants, a super market close by. Over the hill is the acropolis and all the tourist action which allows you to combine a more authentic neighborhood and tourism easily.

Perfect place to stay for so many reasons!
This place was so good for our family! Location was incredible—10 min walk from the acropolis area, parks, museums…all there. The local restaurants were so good we kept eating in the neighborhood—not one bad meal! Groceries are right there, coffee shops and whatever else you’re looking for! The triplex that the suite is situated is in great and the other owners are very friendly. The suite itself is as advertised…simple but very nice. Quiet inside, not so much on the balcony due to the kids and the traffic. The owner’s assistant, Marie, is incredible. There was nothing negative to disclose. I’d go back for sure.

Nice stay for Easter at Zois'
The appartement is confortable at a 15-20 minutes walk from the Akropolis. All is quite new and clean. The terrasse is very enjoyable for breakfast. A grocery, a bar and a restaurant are very close to the appartement.

Home away from home
Zois is a great communicator-easy to reach quick to respond . Apartment is clean and a good size with everything you need. The location is real good - short walks to the historical sights and shopping (15-20 minutes). If you like feeling part of the community and experience the greek culture this is the place . I stayed 5 nights and the local people were so helpful and friendly . We actually became friends with some and found a gem of a restaurant around the corner at 34 Troon st- Lemon Anthos Great ethnic greek food - family owned and fantastic people When I return to Athens will stay here again - highly recommended Jimmy

Nice appartment, ideally located.
We are a family with two children (8 and 14) and stayed for 3 nights at the appartment.
The appartment is well located, we made almost everything on foot.
The location is calm (for Athens). If you sit on the balcony you can hear the traffic from the road nearby, but it is not a main road and the noise is bearable (The crickets are loud to).
Keep in mind that you are in a capital!
Because of the mosquitos we kept all windows closed in the evening and during the night. The two sleeping rooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds) and bathroom are at the back and there is also a door to this quarter, so during the night it is really calm.
Up the street is the entrance to the park where you have a fine view at the acropolis and where it is very pleasing to sit in the evening (don't forget the mosquito repellent).
For families with little children:
There is a small gap in the balustrade on the right side to the wall. I informed the owner that a little child could easily fall through this gap. The owner was very alert and willing to close this gap as soon as possible so it shouldn't be a problem.
A bakery is in 5 min on foot and a supermarket is in 10min on foot (the one nearby had closed his doors). We don't know about restaurants in the proximity because in the evening we ate at the appartment.
We definetely recommend the appartment.
One more tip for families:
As you surely intend to visit the acropolis and the agora, you might be tented in buying the combined ticket giving access to 7 different sites (more or less interesting sites and except the acropole museum).
Children from EU-citizens up to 18 years-old are free. There are no combined tickets for children, so you will have to queue to get the so-called zero-tickets (0 Euro) for each child and entrance. If the children are old enough they can go themselves to get these tickets but be prepared to show an ID with their age.
Thats all.

Lovely apartment with large balcony overlooking a tree covered slope. Good transport links to the centre.Zois was extremely helpful in providing information and arranging an excellent taxi driver.

The apartment was quite large and it was easy to get to the main sights by walk and Metro. The grocery store was close by and the area was nice.

We rented the apartment for 10 nights to use as our home base for our days in Athens as well as 3 overnights out of the area. The location and price made this decision a great one. The beds are firm, and the main living area as well as the two bedrooms are air conditioned. Huge balcony made breakfast and evenings at the house special. The washing machine made for a great convenience (we saw no laundromats and only found 1 listed far away), and there was plenty of lines to hang clothes. Market is a few blocks away and open until 9:00 PM. Plenty of restaurants nearby for lengthy dining or a quick bite.
Continue walking up the hill on the street and you get to the back way of Hill of the Nymphs where the observatory and extensive ruins are located at top, and you can continue over to the Acropolis. Conversely, go down the hill and over a few blocks to get to the Metro stop, which is very near the center of Athens.
The only drawback we found is you get one set of keys and need them to lock yourself out of both the apartment and the apartment building, and then need to lock yourself in the building (there is a deadbolt you can use on the apartment door that does not require a key). One day , I wanted to nap and my husband was up for looking around but we both agreed it would not be a good idea for me to be locked in the building. Indeed several days later an apartment alarm had gone off (false alarm -- we vacated the building and the alarm soon turned off and we saw no one else), but I can't imagine having been there by myself and not being able to get out the front door.
The neighborhood is enough off the beaten path to provide an authentic experience of an urban Greek neighborhood, but close enough to the action of central Athens. We felt like in selecting this apartment we had hit the jackpot!

Very nice apartment in excellent, convenient but quiet location
The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We also appreciated the pre-organised taxi from the airport. The immediate neighbourhood had some nice restaurants, and was within a short walk to the metro station to the coast, as well as being walking distance from the city centre.

Good Stay!
Stayed for 3 nights in the middle of Oct. Safe neighborhood with restaurants and marts nearby. Nice patio at the apartment to sit outside. Plenty of good restaurants all of Athens, mostly inexpensive too. We used Mr. Zois' connection taxi driver to take us back & forth airport, $50E each way. It was well worth it after many hours of flying.

You can walk up phillopopou hill ( looking at all the ruins takes a bit longer) and down the other side to the bottom of the acropolis in twenty minutes. Plaka was a 15minute walk away. Our favourite places were the panathanaic stadium which was very atmospheric and without lots of people and the same for the ancient Agora.We used Vangelis for the taxi both ways, who was very prompt and reliable. Maria was also very kind as she allowed us to leave all our luggage in the apartment as we had a late flight. We all had a lovely holiday and one day will go back.

Fabulous Apartment
We just had a very enjoyable stay at this wonderful apartment. We were a family of 4 with 2 teenage children. The unit was spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The owner was available online even though he was out of the country, answering all of our questions promptly. Troon Street on the next corner was brilliant, with cool cafes, restaurants, supermarket and health food shop for gluten free/bio products etc. The location was ideal for us, not at all touristy and generally very quiet. The random church bells were not at all a problem, we barely noticed them. We walked everywhere as the Acropolis and surrounds were easily accessible, but we don't mind walking. Otherwise it's not far from closest Metro. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone. Thanks to Zois and his caretaker Maria.

Great room. Area is full of locals
The room was great. We spent most of our time in the room playing cards on the large balcony. Sites were within walking distance as was the Metro. supermarket near by and plenty of restaurants. The initial meeting went well. We were a little late but she (Maria) waited for us a little while, and gave us the 5 min tour. The rooms was clean and easy to figure out.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in Athens. We ate at the restruant around the corner on Troon st and it was great, but didn't have a whole lot of fish stuff available.
The Philoppopos hill was pretty close and made for a nice walk to all the other sites.

We stayed here over our recent Spring Break with 3 kids, 2 toddlers and 1 teenager. Please place worked well for the two toddlers, who tend to get into everything. We moved the few breakable items out of reach and they had they entire place to play. There was nice sized playpen/crib that worked great to keep the littlest one in his bed. There was inside parking for our rental car. I really liked that there was all the items that we needed already there, toilet paper, small shampoos, dishes, utinsels, etc. Most places say they have all the basics, but this place really did. There was coffee, napkins, etc. Very nice. The maid, Maria, and her son spoke english very well and were very nice and helpful. They were always on time and ready to help. I had read the neighborhood was a little sketchy, but we wandered about every day with no issue what so ever. Everyone we met was helpful and kind. We felt very safe. We did drive up to the Acropolis and parked nearby. Never had any issue finding parking on the street. We did find a wonderful little Gyro place a half a block up from the front of the train station that was just fabulous. We at there several times while there. The owner was great help and answered all our questions and helped out any way he could. I would definitely recommend this place and stay again.
Only negative I found was I could not get more than about 1/3 a tub full of hot water. Showers were fine, but a bath wasn't an option. There was no view of the sites, but for the price, I would not expect one. Nonetheless, we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony enjoying the scenery.

Comfortable apartment for family vacation
Owner was very helpful thoughout. Sent local travel info ahead. His maid was punctual and greeted us on arrival. Neighbors were very nice and pointed us to our parking spot. Quiet location with easy and frequent, local public transport (we returned the rental car the next day). New, trendy restaurants are walking distance. If you have the stamina, you could up walk up to the Acropolis in the mornings - thoroughly enjoyable.
Apartment was clean and spacious. This apartment is not entirely color-coordinated or designer chic but it's a good home-away-from-home. All amenities were functioning and I got all my tasks (simple cooking, laundry, ironing) done without any difficulty. We had a great time in this apartment as well as in Athens. Big thanks to the owner! We had a positive, memorable experience!
