First, let me say that Martina and her team were excellent to work with and made our stay very comfortable. Martina arranged all of our dinner reservations, to include chef on property that was absolutely incredible!
The villa itself was magnificent and had everything we needed, and more! We spent the mornings down at the sea and afternoons by the pool before returning to the sea.
It was a memorable experience in Croatia, the first of many to come.

The property is absolutely lovely and in a stunning location.
Martina was superb - she organised our water taxi transfer (highlight for the teenagers - Seayou also organise excellent tours) and our car rental. She was there to meet us on arrival, gave a great tour and was in hand should any issues arise.
The villa was so well equipped we really only used the car for food shopping in Milna.
The paddleboards/canoes/bicycles were used everyday,.The bay itself is stunningly beautiful for swimming in. Aquamarine, crystal clear waters which we really enjoyed first thing for our morning swims.
The heatwave meant we did spend afternoon time either in the air conditioned luxury of the villa, playing the array of board games and cards or swimming in the the bay or pool. The television offered an excellent selection of entertainment options if you wished to indulge. The kitchen was so well equipped we cooked all our own meals and used the wood fired barbecue every day.
It is a steep, stepped climb from the private dock to the villa but there are hammocks, swings and an egg chair scattered along the way, and it’s worth it for the views from the villa and to experience the beauty of the secluded bay.
Would love to return some day. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Ten family members stayed at Villa Duboka to celebrate my wife and her twin brother’s 50th birthday. The boat taxi transfer from Split airport to the villa mooring was a great way to start the holiday. The villa itself is beautifully equipped and presented. We particularly loved the huge BBQ, table tennis table, bikes and hammocks. Martina the housekeeper was extremely helpful and friendly - communication with her was outstandingly good. Milna itself Is lovely with plenty of shops and restaurants. The only problem we had was getting to and from the villa (we didn’t have a car). The local taxis are efficient but expensive. The villa is located at the end of a very steep driveway.
The paddle boards and kayaks were a massive hit with the whole group and the sea was just beautiful- such a treat to have the mooring at the end of the garden!! The steps back up to the villa are hard work and not suitable for older people. Make sure to pack plenty of insect repellent! Overall we had a fabulous time in the villa which has so many unusual nice touches - my son loved playing the guitars during the balmy evenings.

We loved the villa -very spacious for our group, comfortable beds and great seafront and pool areas, as well as outdoor lounge , lovely gardens and dining areas.Lots of seating both inside and out for our big group and we enjoyed the chef services booked on site. We liked everything about the villa itself and its beautiful location and having a pier for drop off and pick up for boat transfers and excursions was really great. The only thing we disliked was the walking distance from town. We would have liked to go into Milna more often but transportation by taxi was quite expensive and though its only between 2 and 3 km. away, the road is partly gravel and steep at start and end so not an easy stroll if you want to go out for a quick dinner or have any mobility issues. We were a group of 12 adults so not a problem for us to split on taxis but for a smaller group or family would recommend having a car or boat to go to town.

Villa Duboka was absolutely beautiful. Situated on a quiet bay with a private dock and a pool it was everything we were hoping for. It had tons of amenities like paddle boards, kayaks, etc. The house was very spacious so there was room to spread out and allowed for privacy when you wanted. Lots of outdoor spaces to relax. The views of the bay were stunning. Martina the property manager was very friendly and responsive when we needed something. We would definitely stay there again.

A wonderful, tucked away villa that is close enough to Milna if you want a restaurant, bar or ice cream but to be honest we struggled to leave the villa. It had everything we needed to truly relax and switch off: the kids spent all day in the sea, good running routes/cycling routes and Martina is a star!

Our family plus partners enjoyed a brilliant week at the beautiful Villa Duboka. The house itself was great and well equipped and the outside space full of places to relax, read and sunbathe. We loved taking a swim, kayaking and paddle boarding in the sea - having our own mooring and sea terrace was a highlight. Thank you, Gavin , for being so adaptable with the covid situation and Martina for all her help both before and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. A cycle ride to local Milna was enjoyed by all and we loved our evening when we had a meal cooked for us in the villa - it was delicious.
We would love to return one day.

This property is exactly as described, and everything we hoped for. The water of Duboka bay is crystal clear; the south west aspect of the house means you get the best of the day's sun and light; the property has everything a family needs to enjoy itself (and the 'toys' are all good quality); there are all sorts of great places to play....but also lots of locations to relax with a good book. Gavin is a very fair and responsive owner, and we are grateful to the flexibility he showed us during COVID when our travel plans were disrupted for a couple of years. Martina is wonderful house manager, responsive to every question we had while prepping for vacation and especially while we were staying there. The meals that Martina's family prepared for us were some of the highlights of our trip. We hope to be back!!

Stunning location
We have just enjoyed a fabulous week at this stunning property in the most idyllic location. The little bay is picture perfect and the paddle boards and kayaks were used every day. The property is a real home from home and well equipped. We would highly recommend this property.

Truly a Special Place
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. We had an absolutely fantastic time at this special house in Milna. I never want to come back to the same place for future vacations because there is so much to explore in the world, but my stay in this special place may change that perspective. Such a beautiful, calming setting. A lot of space both indoors and outdoors. Fully equipped for playing and relaxation. We loved it so much, we only went out to dinner for two of the seven nights. Didn't want to leave. The crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. The private swim platform. The spectacular views. Amazing Martina and her assistance. Fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful a/c for hot days. No complaints. THANK YOU for sharing your home with us.

Villa Duboka, built on island Brac, has just the perfect setting. After driving on a curvy road, the house is situated on the hill above a nice and cozy bay.
The rooms are located on 2 different floors. That gave us (12 persons) enough space for a big dinner outside as well as for a relaxing break in a smaller group. You can follow approx. 150 stairs which bring you straight to your own private piece of the bay.
The whole house is perfectly equipped. You have all the kitchen gadgets you need, on top of that you have enough things to enjoy your free time with (paddleboards, table tennis equipment, bikes, etc.)
The villa manager Martina was super nice and fulfilled all of our wishes. We have even booked a boat tour and the boat picked us up on the water down by our villa.

Sand is overrated
We had an amazing week with all generations of the family. Everything needed was there and, what wasn’t, Martina was on hand and only too happy to arrange. Definitely recommend the direct boat transfer from SPU to Milna (even the house itself if the sea is calm enough). Having the sea on the doorstep was truly brilliant. We were very grateful for the week and not surprised it was otherwise booked out. We’d have definitely changed flights and stayed longer.

Very calming. Don't go here expecting to conduct business because the wifi cannot handle concurrent zoom calls but if you are on vacation, no problem. We rented a car that Martina had delivered to the house. Really helped us to eat at different places and see the whole island.

Wonderful villa for 12 on Brac Croatia
Everything came up to our expectations or better. Martina, the manager, was extremely helpful and her mum was a wonderful cook. All very spoiling. The young loved the kayaks, the two SUPs , ping-pong and the badminton. We hired a rib and there was ample room for the mooring. A wonderful holiday was had by our mixed age groups, 8-73! Thank you.

The best holiday villa we've stayed in yet. 3 adults and 5 children all had a wonderful time. A private boat was laid on straight from the airport to the villa. What a way to arrive!
The villa is stylish, clean and airy, with all the mod-cons you could want. Love how the huge sliding glass doors open onto the terrace, and the outside bbq and kitchen area is brilliant. We cooked and ate most of our meals out here under the stars.
There's no doubt the highlight of this place is the private sea front. The crystal-clear sea is at the bottom of the garden and we all turned into water babies for the week! There's also a beautiful infinity pool that blends into the sea below. Spoilt for choice indeed.
There's so much to do the week whizzed by all too quickly - badminton court, table tennis, mountain bikes, kayaks and paddle boards all come with the villa.
Martina and the house management team were super helpful. A faultless week. I can't recommend Villa Duboka enough.

Villa Duboka - fabulous villa and idyllic location
Villa Duboka was the perfect location for our family holiday. Spacious, clean and thoughtfully arranged, we loved the house and its setting in the exquisite Duboka Bay. Martina was a superb housekeeper and we were looked after superbly from beginning to end. Five stars!

Great location with great facilities
We were a group of 12 adults with age ranges from 21-57. The villa was well equipped with plenty of outdoor space for us all to escape when we needed. We did not have a car, but Milna was a reasonable walk of about 30 minutes. We also made good use of the bikes to get into town to replenish supplies when needed. The location on the sea was a highlight. We made good use of kayaks and SUP boards. The youngsters loved the hammocks!
The services and attention of Martina, the house manager was super! She was on call whenever we needed and arranged all of our transfers, restaurant reservations, a day on a boat and was on hand whenever we had a query. She arranged a meal in the villa cooked by chefs which was amazing and ensured our drinks fridge was replenished when needed. We would not hesitate to recommend Villa Dubroka. It is in a beautiful unspoilt bay and we all left feeling relaxed and refreshed and would visit again.

Luxurious idyll
The easiest 5 star review ever. Fabulous house in the most idyllic location. Having private access to the sea in a secluded bay makes it very special. The house has all you need for all the family, we used the bikes, kayaks and SUP's everyday. We hired a RIB for the week which I would recommend for getting to secluded bays and visiting Hvar and Vis. Martina helped us enormously with local advice and assistance with the best places to eat and visit. All the ingredients for a luxurious and relaxing holiday.

Wonderful Family Spot
Our family of three generations thoroughly enjoyed our week in Milna. Swimming, eating, glace, etc. Lots of exercise built in. Martina was always available to meet our needs and make our stay memorable. Kids under 10 loved the pool and kids older than 10 loved the warm waters of the Adriatic. Pace was perfect. Week topped off with authentic Croatian dinner cooked on site by Martina's's parents.

perfect location
Villa was fab. Clean, set out perfectly for 5 couples. Plenty of towels, kitchen stocked with everything you would need. Loved the ‘Fatboy’ hammocks.. perfect relaxing venue. And the bay is stunning.. Lots of steps to waterfront but more than happy to make the effort to sunbathe on the jetty.. we all perfected paddle boarding and used the kayaks. Martina is fab, nothing we asked was too much. We had two nights with chef hire and the food was fab, loved it.

An incredible home in an incredible place
I can't say enough wonderful things about Gavin's place in Milna. The home is beautiful, well kept and incredibly comfortable. The pool, BBQ, the waterfront access take the house to the next level. Martina was an amazing host- she went out of her way to arrange taxis and make suggestions for activities on/near the island. A highlight of the trip was in-home chef who prepared a delicious authentic Croatian meal. We loved this property and hope to return someday! Thank you Gavin & Martina for the trip of a lifetime!

Fabulous location and beautiful property. Excellent property manager.
The villa was in an Unspoilt area, tucked away yet luxurious. All mod cons you could possibly want. The sea was crystal clear and the pool a welcome option (in an absolutely perfect world the pool would be bigger but hey, I'm being picky). The villa manager was absolutely excellent and this really does make a difference to the enjoyment of the stay. We loved it.

Everything is there for a perfect family holiday
We were a family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children). Everyone had great fun on the paddle boards and canoes - except one who couldn't overcome her fear of the sea erchins, but there was always the pool for the less sporty.
The house is very well equipped and little details - like candles, travel plugs, and Martina who is at the end of a phone 24 hours a day to arrange anything. Bol and Supertar were favourites of ours, but we're glad we chose Milna because it's unspoilt.

Just glorious
We have just enjoyed a truly exceptional week in Villa Duboka. The villa itself is wonderful, with every facility that might be needed. The short walk down to the most beautiful bay takes it to another level. Whilst we had a couple of great boat trips with a skipper organised by the incredible Martina we perhaps missed a trick by not renting our own boat to visit the numerous unspoiled bays to be found around the coast.
The details on the website are accurate, and we have but one criticism . A week allowed us to explore the island which grew on us the more we saw. Quad bikes for the tracks around the coast, swimming in the quiet bays that can still be found even in August and a trip to the Senjkovic winery were among the highlights.
As for the criticism perhaps the photographs on the website don't quite capture how glorious this villa is. The only solution is to go back next year!

Villa Duboka situated in the most stunning location, well equipped,ideal for a party of 10 persons
Very well run Villa away from the crowds of August holiday makers. We hired a scooter, 2 X foot foot boats and on 2 occasions a speed boat all delivered efficiently to the Villa thanks to Martina , the superb Villa manager. We enjoyed 2 very tasty evening meals out on the candle lit main terrace cooked by the brought in chef. A truly wonderful week enjoying all the numerous facilities of Villa Duboka.

Stylish villa in beautiful location
Enjoyed a very relaxing week at this well thought-out and stylish villa. Some fantastic views, especially from master suite. Loved being able to go through the steep, wooded garden straight down to the sea at the little mooring where you can soak up some sun or jump into the crystal clear water. Villa designed to get lots of natural breeze so no air con was not a problem. Duboka Bay itself is a beautiful bay with a small settlement. Milna, nearby (5 mins drive away) is a sweet, somewhat sleepy harbour with a selection of restaurants, a small market and all that is needed for food shopping etc. Martina, who manages the property, is very helpful and on hand to help book restaurants, organise trips or a cook etc. Highly recommended.
