This property exceeded our expectations and beyond! Honestly, one of our favourite places to stay in Jamaica. The team were so accommodating to our large group. we travellled to Jamaica for a wedding and this place was perfect, even for the pre-wedding photos, they looked absolutely stunning overlooking to beautiful ocean view. So many good things to say about this place, I don't even know where to start! The rooms are super comfy, excellent amenities, the place is spotless! Do not hesitate to book here, just book it. So worth it, we will definitely stay here again on our next visit with family. Thanks again for accomodating us!

Excellent experience!! Great property, lots of room, comfortable beds, very clean, beautiful view. Fantastic staff!! (Thanks to Devon, Winston, Veronica & Yvonne.) Trevor Edwards was our bus driver--he was outstanding: very safe, had a clean bus, and was a very good guide! We had absolutely no issues with safety (or even saw/heard of any violent activities!) Chef Marcel was a treasure--excellent food, fresh fruit, incredibly accommodating, and lots of fun! Price point was excellent, quiet neighbourhood, hot tub was a treat, and many places to relax poolside. I think we'll be back!! Thanks Miss Ann!!

The driver Trevor waited patiently as our flight was delayed. When we arrived at the Villa, Devon the property manager welcomed us and made us feel at home. Marcel, the chef provided us with Jamaican cuisine that was very delicious. Yvonne made sure our rooms were cleaned and we had fresh towels. Lastly Ann, the owner checked to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction during and after our stay.

Chief Marcel put a stamp on every meal prepared, and our driver Trevor was awesome he made sure we was safe and kept on eye on us where ever he took us. All the staff was super helpful and I would definitely book again in the near future!! Love miss Ann communication also she was always available to talk and explain things. Smile… loves it!!!

Trevor the driver “ah boss driver that” we could not of gotten a better and patient driver than him. Chef Marcelle he is a master in the kitchen and listens to every detail of our needs. Devon was most helpful with everything we needed. Very courteous and nothing was never too much”and boy did we have needs since our group ranged from 0-77 years”. Ms. Veronica, Ms. Yvonne, Mr. Winston they were all so helpful. They were all phenomenal. We will be staying here again. Our children cannot stop speaking about their experience at the villa. This was a group of 14 women - ages 27 to 75 - and all of us had a wonderful time - siblings, mothers/daughters, cousins and friends (of over 25+ years). This Villa is absolutely beautiful. The pictures really do not do it justice. Sitting atop of the mountain, beautiful views from each villa. The staff, Trevor, Chef Marcel, DeVon, Veronica and Yvonne are the absolute consummate of professionalism. Trevor, the perfect driver and tour guide, made us feel welcome starting with the trip from the airport and each time we went out. DeVon upon arrival was welcoming and gave us a tour of the Villa, explained everything, was great and accommodating during our entire stay. Chef Marcel - what can I say. From the first meal to the last - was absolutely delicious!! There were dishes I usually did not eat but because it was a choice of the group, I tried it and loved it!!! Veronica and Yvonne were the best - ensuring we had towels for the beach and just made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed at all times. Thank you, Ann, for responding to my emails and questions prior to the trip. Would love to meet you one day!!! Thank you so much everyone for making our vacation one we will never forget!!! This was the third time our group stayed at Sunrise Villa. I simply cannot imagine staying anywhere else. The property manager Devon, is simply a terrific person in and out. Every detail was finely appointed and every question answered. Chef Marcel poured his heart into every meal prepared. When you taste love in the food, we’ll that’s pretty special. We used to have a favorite jerk place in Jamaica, now our favorite jerk place is the Villa where Marcel cooks!!!! The housekeeping is impeccable and the staff will do whatever they can to make you comfortable. The term “Family” is usually applied to those of blood kinship. It can also be applied to “those that respect, care for and love each other”. With that said, after my 3rd trip to the Villa, I can say with all my heart that the staff at Sunrise Villa is my Jamaican family. My absolute love and respect to the owners and staff of the Villa. Already planning our 4th trip. Can’t wait!!!!

Mrs Ann, the owner was instrumental in making the process easy and offering information of things to do and see in the area, to even informing us that COVID testing to return to the States had been lifted while we were there in Jamaica and hadn't bothered watching the news. Chef Marcel was amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty on many occassions during our stay. The place and view is amazing. Awesome job Mrs Ann and her staff. Thank you for EVERYTHING!!! We hope to come back and visit and actually get to meet you this next time.

If you are looking for the perfect private slice of heaven…look no further than this property. Ann the property manager from start to finish very accessible and was able to address all questions before our arrival.. Trevor our assigned driver… we couldn’t ask for a more down to earth, friendly, accommodating guild…took care of my party of 12 with ease… CHEF MARCEL…hands from God… food was impeccable.. always on time every time and with a smile. Staff, housekeeping, grounds keeper all just exceptional. Ann and the crew I can’t thank you enough for making my 50th a moment and time I will never forget.

The property is beautiful. The villa suites have plenty of room for guests. The bathrooms has basic amenities similar hotels. Each suite has an ironing board, iron and blow dryer. The kitchen has all appliances and toilet paper and paper towels are restocked daily. All units have internet and the passwords are provided for each villa suite on the router. Devon is the property manager and made sure things were in order. Yvonne and Veronica were our housekeeper and they made the beds, took trash out, provided fresh towels, cleaned up the units and cleaned the kitchens daily. So Perry was the catch all. He kept the common areas clean and assisted with all of our needs. So, the highlight of our stay was Chef Marcel. Oh my God, he is an amazing chef. He cooked for us for the entire week. He cooked both American and Jamaican food to perfection. He made sure we had what we needed, served the food and he and Perry cleaned up everything each day. We purchased the food and provided him with the menu and he tool care of the rest. (Remember Jamaica imports everything and the cost for food is similar to Hawaii prices, but still more affordable compared to eating out everyday). I highly recommend this property as you will not be disappointed. I hired Karandas Tours Ltd for our groups transportation and our chauffer for the week was Shane (he was outstanding). You have to get advanced approval for parties, which I did since we were celebrating several birthdays. Overall, I didn't have any complaints. This villa is definitely on our list when we plan our next Jamaica trip. You will not be disappointed.

Wow… just wow. Words can’t express how my Birthday Girls trip was such a success. From the minute we landed to the minute we left. Our driver and tour guide Trevor was nothing short of amazing. Very attentive and well organized. Prior to my trip I was contacted by Ann the owner. Trevor the driver and Marcell the chef. We all discussed my expectations for my birthday trip. Trevor took us to every location on my list not only did he seem to know everyone in the town but he had everything organized prior to our arrival… for example we went to Dunn’s river falls with no wait in line arm bands already ready for us to enter the park. It’s the simple things like that they make your trip run smoothly. I was really impressed with the chef Marcell … the food was awesome every meal was something to remember my girls can’t stop talking about chef Marcell’s cooking. He was very accommodating and flexible with times and what we wanted to eat. I hand picked every meal that we ate. Even a special birthday dinner that everyone enjoyed. The actual property is gorgeous … very clean the rooms and set up was up to date fully equipped rooms and kitchen. We did go to Jamaica on a time that they were on curfew some nights so we had to come in early off the road but having the pool and jacuzzi food drinks and music waiting at the villa made it so easy to kick back and have a good time. Devin was the guy at the property that was there with anything we needed at the villa. My trip was epic and something I will never forget. I am from Jamaica as well be it was nice to live as a Tourist for awhile. I highly recommend the villa and it’s staff. I did not get a chance to meet the owner Ann but she was into in touch the whole time. Trevor is def your go to guy for everything. Chef Marcell is your go to chef… definitely the best team.

I just want to say thank you to ALL of the staff who made this trip AMAZING. I highly recommend this location for a stay. They will take care of ALL of your needs! Ms.Anne is very easy to speak to and walked me through each step before I even reached Jamaica. I went there with a party of 9 including myself for a bridesmaid trip and our driver Trevor made sure we were 100% satisfied going out of his way for any and everything we needed, his recommendations for our excursions were spot on and so much fun! We originally requested Our chef marcel for only 3 days but ended up having him for our entire 7 day stay ! The food and service was amazing. Ms.Veronica made sure to keep the place in amazing shape and was super nice. The place was already clean and smelling good, we received fresh towels everyday and always came back to a clean villa. Our care taker Devon is such an amazing person, made sure all of our needs were met, along side was pero who also was a great help to all our needs ! The overall experience at the villa was amazing, from the view, to the cleaning, the food, the service. I rate this place 100/100. I will definitely be booking this place for another stay the next time I come to Jamaica.

Mon mari et moi-même avons absolument adoré notre séjour à la Sunrise Villa. Notre hôte Ann nous a particulièrement bien accueillis! La Villa est spacieuse et magnifique. La propriété est entourée d’un portail, ce qui nous permet de se sentir en sécurité et en toute intimité. La piscine est propre et attrayante mais ce que nous avons le plus apprécié, c’est le levé du soleil au petit matin! Il y a un chef dans la Villa, ce qui est un grand plus. Bien que nous ayons seulement goûté à ses petits déjeuners (déjeuner et dîner sont aussi disponibles !!), le menu était local et très varié mais surtout délicieux! Nous avions également accès a un chauffeur, Trevor, avec qui nous avons eu le plaisir d’échanger. Il s’est montré très patient et utile car il connait la ville du bout des doigts! Our stay was great. Beautiful and clean villa. I enjoyed the pool and my husband’s favorite part was the sunrise view. Private and secure on the highest hill around. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer. Wifi speeds were also good. Trevor, the driver was pleasant and knowledgeable on the city. The on-site chef (sorry I forgot their name!) was great. Provided a variety of local cuisines. We only made requests for breakfast but know that lunch and dinner were also available. Ann is a great host who was always readily available. I appreciated the occasional checks ins to see if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend Sunrise Villas.

Let me start by saying that the property is absolutely amazing. The pictures on the website are beautiful but viewing it in person is absolutely breath taking. I would recommend getting Chef Marcel. My family and I were quite impressed with the menu he prepared for us for our stay. Our drivers Trevor and Mickie we’re very knowledgeable of the area and took us to we’re the locals do their shopping and we found some amazing deals. Thank you Ann and staff for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be returning!!

I’m not sure where to start, the moment I booked. The host Ann reached out and made planning my families vacation so much easier. We were greeted by the driver Trevor at the airport who graciously accommodated us, to the chef who made amazing meals for us our entire stay. Waking up here every day was like a dream, the breath taking views, and sunrise are to die for. The property is very well kept, and the staff is more than accommodating. We can not wait to come back. Thank you Ann, and all the staff at sunrise villa for such an amazing experience.

Thank you so much for allowing us a trip of a lifetime. Several families gathered to celebrate my son’s high school graduation. It was absolutely amazing. From the moment we checked in- Devon was there for any and everything. We decided to have the chef- Marcel and the driver- Trevor. He is a MUST. I know it’s expensive but he is worth every penny. He drove us everywhere we want- was on call always to take us anyplace and waited hours in the parking lot while we shopped/got our Covid testing or did an excursion. He was absolutely lovely. I’m so glad we decided to have him. He took us to places that we would have never even know existed. He was an angel. The Chef was great as well. Always serving us hot amazing food. We always had leftovers and each night was a fantastic surprise to see what he had made. We had dinner every night by the pool. Devon would then turn on the hot tub so it was ready after dinner. We played games and swam the night away. Perry made me fresh coconut water every single morning. The cleaning crew was amazing. Everything was perfect and any requests were immediately responded to. We all felt very safe in our villa and never used the keys provided to lock every space. The kids and adults loved the pool/hot tub/bar arrangements. It truly was a trip of a lifetime and I’m so glad we were all able to experience it together at this villa. The views were breathtaking from every level. Sunrise and sundown. Absolutely beautiful. I’m so very happy we decided to stay here. The best choice ever!!!! Thank you SO much- Ann- Devon- Trevor- Marcel-Perry and housekeeping staff. We really appreciate your hard work.

The pictures really really don’t do this place justice. The view is unbelievable, you literally feel like you can see the water stretch out forever. Watching the sunset & sunrise over the balcony are a must. The house is clean & well kept. There is enough space to accommodate everyone. There is a chef, so-the food is both delicious & convenient especially if you are like us & are out and about on the excursions. Trevor, the driver is phenomenal. His intelligent collection of Jamaica is a great resource for getting to know the island & its people better. He also has many connections, feel free to ask him in help in planning events. My family and I rented this property to celebrate our two college grads this year. This place was beautiful, ok location. It was a few vacant property surrounding this villa which made look unsafe to leave doors unlocked at night or when we was away from the villa. We knew coming in that there would be a fee for the chef and driver but we had know idea that we would be apart of a scam everywhere we went. The driver charged us per person everywhere we went. All our travels we the exception of to and from the airport was all without 10 minutes from the villa we was charged a different fee which was raised daily for travels. They wanted to be paid in American money and not Jamaica money. No one told us on Sunday’s everything closed early and we would have to go early if need be. We wanted to purchase alcohol and wine so Devin offered us to buy some alcohol from the basement of the house he stays in, only to charge us twice the actual cost. We found that out the following day when we went to the market. Our last night, we ask Devin several times to turn the heat on on the hot tub. He never did! They started cleaning up before we checked out and placed some our belongings that we left on the table on the ground. The chef serve cold food everyday, he would just sit the food on the bar then sit and watch us eat. He never served us or offered any assistance. Very creepy! The chef was over charging us the whole time for food. When I called him out on it he looked stupid and said he included his fairy ride in with the food. That I wouldn’t have mind paying if he was honest in the beginning. It was 16 of us, he never prepared enough food. Everything thing we asked him to cook, he would always come back with something different and say he forgot and would cook it the next day. The next day never came. I still do not believe he was a chef because a chef would know how to prepare for a large group. He never met the need for my family at all. A couple night we ordered pizza even with him cooking because we were not fulfilled. One of the things that made me pick this villa was the reviews. I’m not sure who did these reviews but we found them to be very untrue. I had friends staying at another villa near by but their experience was totally different. This is my third time in Jamaica and my first bad experience. I normally stay in Montego Bay. I’ll stick to what I know, never Ocho Rios again!

We all had a great time - beyond our expectations. The place is beautiful, clean, private, and peaceful. The sunset is just absolutely breathtaking in the morning. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We used the driver (Trevor) and the chef (Marcel) - they are a must. Trevor is very knowledgeable and great company to have. Marcel - excellent food. He can cook anything you like. We brought grits as we were not sure if we could find. His shrimp and grits are a MUST!!!. We are going back. The owner, Anne, was also great - you can call/email/text and she responds quickly and professional.

From Booking with Ann to being picked up from the airport by Trevor than greeted by Devon to the amazing Chef it was definitely a beautiful experience for some of us we have been to Jamaica at lest 10 times for some of our guest it was the first time and I must say it was amazing!!!! The pictures do this property or the view no justice it was breathtaking ❤️ The hospitality was was top of the line we are very family oriented so we considered the entire staff family we believe in everyone eating together just being happy you only live once. Our chef made sure there were meals for our vegan lovers and meat lovers. Trevor was our driver he is the most humble man I have ever come across he was such a pleasure to have around. This trip was nothing short of amazing we will be returning very soon with more family and friends BOOK THIS LOCATION YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

This is the best experience I’ve ever had: the host went above and beyond! Cleanliness is top priority. Food is amazing (HIRE THE CHEF YOU WON’T REGRET IT)The host Devon and the house keeping are amazing! We felt welcome and the kids had the best time!
