What an amazing property! The views of the Bay of Fundy are incredible with Grand Manan just in the distance. Saw quite a few eagles flying nearby, some seals and a sea otter or two that seem to make their home nearby. Very short walk to Herring Cove Beach which was beautiful. The house was amazing, super-clean and comfortable. Bill was very supportive and responsive, just an overall fantastic stay! Thanks!!

When you walk into this wonderful house for the first time you are greeted by a large soothing great room with big windows and a breathtaking view of the Bay of Fundy with Grand Manaan Island in the distance. It is absolutely stunning. We saw eagles flying right by us every day. What a wonderful comfortable house on a lovely island.

Splendid!
We rented this amazing home as part of a family reunion on Campobello Island. When she walked in the front door, our new daughter-in-law couldn't stop exclaiming, "Wow! Wow!" The view was incredible -- rocky shoreline, trees growing out of the top of rocks, waves crashing, deep blue ocean, and the hulk of Grand Manan Island in the distance, with majestic sky above all. The house is impeccably clean, rooms are well sized, kitchen modern, and the bedrooms catching the ocean breezes. Everything was in great working order. The most fascinating feature of the house is the custom designed wooden stairway which was a work of art, curving its way to the second floor, calling us to run our hands along its silky smooth bannister. We carried our coffee onto the deck and even down to the "bold" rocks to lose ourselves in the sight, sound, smell of God's majestic creation. We saw whales and seals from the porch. Lots to do in the area -- Herring Cove Golf course, attending Eleanor's Tea, visiting lighthouses, taking a whale watching and fishing expedition, catching the ferry from Welshpool to Deer Island, hiking to Liberty Point, and driving to Friar's Head for sunsets. Definitely hope to return!

We had a wonderful two weeks at this lovely home on edge of the ocean. It is peaceful, isolated, and well-appointed. Due to Co-vid restrictions, we never left the island. We had brought most of our own food, but the local village store supplied a good assortment of items needed, including produce, baked goods and wine/alcohol. We had a unexpected vehicle repair needed. Coastline Auto Repair did a wonderful and quick job fixing our brakes. My husband injured his Achilles tendon, the pharmacy had several style of braces that provided him relief. We saw a variety of seabirds, including osprey, gannets, gulls, and bald eagles. We spotted two different kinds of seals almost every day from the windows or deck overlooking the water. Three dolphin swam by on our last day. The view of the full moon rising out of the ocean is a sight that won't be forgotten.

Our family of 4 (2 teenage daughters) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 29 Owen Court! Great views with plenty of space. Awesome for the owner to provide books, videos, and kitchen provided lots of extras (mayo, salad dressing, PB&J, coffee filters, paper towels, paper plates). We left a few extras for others to use (pancake mix and syrup). Our favorites for the trip were seeing the Eagles fly around the house and sit on the rock just 50 yards away from the deck, Roosevelt Cottage (excellent tour), viewing all the stars from the deck (great chairs provided to lay down and look up at the stars), hiking through the trail to Herring Cove beach, visiting the light house at low tide, and whale boat tour! We especially loved seeing the difference between low and high tides at the property and the lighthouse!

Georgeous House. Gorgeous Island
This bright and airy house is a short walk away from my favorite beach on earth. The house is well stocked, comfortable and ideal for watching eagles, seals, porpoises. I can't recommend enough.

Relaxing yet Active Vacation!
The property was lovely. Clean and bright and trouble free. Woken up several times in the very early morning by whales blowing as they swam by! The location is beautiful and convenient to the park and to what nature has to offer. My husband and I would definitely rent here again!

Another wonderful stay!
Our second stay in this lovely home was ever thing we hoped. The home is the perfect place to watch all the wild life and sea life available around the island. It is located conveniently near the Roosevelt International Park and the bridge to Lubec, ME. We hope to make Campobello and this home an annual destination.

Amazing Vacation! Technology OFF... Nature ON!
My family (my husband, my teenage daughter and son and my mom) spent a lovely week at this beautiful home on the Bay of Fundy.
We were entertained daily by many forms of aquatic life and, of course, the eagles soaring over the house!
On the island we visited the wharfs, the lighthouse and Roosevelt’s summer home, all of which we enjoyed immensely.
The private beach through the woods was fun! Surprisingly not made up of sand but soft rounded rocks. It was fun to comb the beach each day looking to see what the ocean gifted us!
It was great watching my kids play Monopoly instead of looking at their phones. I think I saw more of them this week than I have all year, ha!
We were sad to leave at the end of the week and would definitely return to this secluded paradise!

Bright, Airy, Beautiful House in a Gorgeous Setting
We loved our week in this beautiful and comfortable house. It is so well designed that even on the few days that were foggy the house was bright and delightful. We have been coming to the Lubec/Campobello area for 20 years and this is the nicest house we have ever rented. The walk through the woods to Herring Cove Beach is magical.

Beautiful Property
This property is one of the nicest on the island. The atmosphere was peaceful, yet invigorating. Would definately return. Only down side was lack of Internet access. We own businesses; and although we were looking to get away, we still needed to make some contact via Internet. Localized Internet would make it possible for us to stay longer.

Perfect week, perfect home!
Our week in the home on ocean side of Campobello Is. was just perfect. The house is everything promised by the owners. Peaceful, isolated and yet near the Roosevelt Park, clean, well-equipped kitchen, first rate linens, and a view to take your breath away. We had beautiful, warm, sunny weather for all but the last two days. We could hear the tide come in and out from the bedroom windows upstairs at night, and see the moon and stars. We had hours of viewing time on the wide porches around the entire house. We watched six bald eagles for over an hour, at dusk fishing for their dinner. One young eagle perched on the rocks in front of the house to devour its catch, while another young eagle sat nearby hoping for a bite. There are plenty of areas to walk nearby, and loads of hiking and carriage trails on the island. There is a grocery store on the island that carries almost everything you might need and the IGA in Lubec, ME is only about 15 minutes away. The border crossing on the bridge was almost no wait at this time of year. The owners were responsive to our requests. Although they do not have internet as of yet, and the cell phone service is spotty, they do have a land line, so a calling card worked well for us. The Community Center allows use of their internet during open hours, which worked fine for us to check e-mails every few days. I did have a few bars on my cell phone on the front porch and over most of the island. We really do plan to come back and use this home as a base to see more of New Brunswick next year.

Great cozy and quiet cottage with incredible sea view
If you are looking for some place away from the crowd, this is the place. Great view, very comfy and calm as well as spacious. It accommodated perfectly our group of five. Did I mention the view? The photos don't do it justice.
I recommend sipping your coffee on the cliff in the morning, watching the bald eagles playing hide and seek (more hide than seek). Please be careful, don't fall from the cliffs, that would ruin your trip.
The kitchen has the basics, INCLUDING a lobster pot that can accommodate 4 lobsters (or 5 depending on your Tetris skills).
We would come back anytime.
Suggestions:
-Bigger carpets
-Vacuum cleaner

Beautiful modern home, with all necessary amenities.
Fantastic view, better than the pictures! This is the 5 th time we have stayed on the island and this house was by far our favorite! It is in a very secluded location and the sounds and sites are breath taking.

We visited this place second year in a row. No dissapoitment!
Very quiet place, beautiful scenery, excellent place to rest from city life.
Whales, seals, and bald eagles can be seen from the porch. Excellent place for a nature enthusiast.

Just as described
The house deserves 5 stars but only giving 4 stars because of VRBO....difficult to work with. We arrived late to fog and mist of the first night. Immediately walking onto the deck, you could smell spruce trees and hear the crashing waves. I knew we would like it. Although there is a house next door, you can't see it. You truly are removed from town. At night, the sky is filled with stars. Because the house was newly built, it is in good shape and clean. The bed was comfortable. The stand up shower worked well. There is plenty of room in all the rooms....not tight anywhere. Kitchen seemed to have the basics....we didn't cook except for breakfast. The owners were very responsive during the whole process. Fundy Drive and Owen Court are gravel so drive slowly as there were ruts on Fundy. We could not access internet from the house but some places on the island have it. As for things to improve: Provide a TV guide of stations. The remote took a long time to figure out and a paper copy would have been much easier to use, A table on the deck might have been nice to put a cup of tea on or to eat out. Install a walkway from the driveway to the front porch....it would create less mess in the house of cinders and wet floors. All in all, it was a great rental. Keep in mind, it does rain there....not beautiful blue skies every day....but during those foggy days, listen for the fog horns. It's the ambience for writers, thinkers and dreamers.

Great summer experience
Great place to stay if you like to be close to nature. Panoramic views from the house and porch are simply breathtaking. The house is in very good condition (pictures don't lie) and the owner is very responsive if you need help. We will definitely consider renting it again next year.

What a gem!!
The pictures do not do the view justice. The view just went on forever. It is a great place to see wildlife. We spotted porpoises, whales, bald eagles, herring, and much more. At high tide we could fish from the rocks, but they are slippery. The trail to the nearest cove is only about a 5 minute walk and you could easily portage some kayaks making for an easy launch. The house was very nice and clean. It is in a very private area and you felt like you were the only one on the island. We like to cook so the kitchen was not well stocked for us. We were lacking a frying pan, a cheese grater, a lobster pot, etc... Also, there were not enough towels for 4 active people needing showers twice a day on most days. There is a small washer and dryer so I just washed some towels half way through the stay. The shower is great and plenty of hot water. WiFi is spotty on the entire island making it hard to plan activities while there. It was a fantastic stay!!

Amazing views!!!
This rental was amazing the pictures don't do it justice. We stayed here with our two year old and it was beautiful. It does have a spiral staircase that we needed to gate off but otherwise very child friendly though he was closely supervised outside. This is defiantly a place to recharge read a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet. Love it up there.
