Just wanted to share our recent experience at this incredible oceanfront property. Picture this: waking up to the soothing sound of waves, sipping coffee with a breathtaking view, and feeling the ocean breeze on your face – pure bliss! The custom home was cozy. If you're all about a good night's sleep, this place will not disappoint. The only "person" who loved it more than us was our golden retriever. She loved swimming in the ocean. Highly recommend for some serious relaxation and lovely long walks on the beach.

Ror and Lori’s place is truly exceptional. The house was spotless, stocked with everything (and more) that you could imagine and the location is unbeatable. My sister and I took our Mom for her 80th Birthday. She has been extremely sick and wanted to spend some time at the beach staring at the water, watching the birds, seals, boats… one last time. This home couldn’t have been a better place to do it. The views are spectacular from the whole lower level and the primary bedroom (where our Mom stayed).
Our days were filled with beach combing, walks in the neighborhood, visits to nearby Langley and Freeland, and sitting on the large deck watching the Herons fish right in front of the house! Such a fun time!
Ror and Lori are great communicators and thoughtful hosts. It’s obvious that this home is their special place as well.
My sister and I hope to come back again in the future! Thank you, Ror and Lori, for sharing your home!

Our extended family loved this house and would move in tomorrow given half a chance :) !!
The house is literally on the beach and so quiet we barely saw anyone the entire weekend. Everything you could possible need is provided - it really does feel like home.
Dinner on the deck with sunset as a backdrop, and waking up to the view from the master bedroom were the highlights for me.

Coming to the beach house for a week has become a family tradition. This year we used it to celebrate our 50 years of marriage. We hired a photographer to take family photos on the beach. It was a magical time for all of us.

This property was the perfect place to celebrate my 70th birthday with my husband and four of my closest friends for a full week. Now I know why all of the reviews are so positive. It’s the place that we would build if we could move to this area. It’s perfectly stocked in the kitchen and all areas —and my husband is a picky person when it comes to the kitchen. If you come here, stop by the house before buying groceries as it’s well stocked with condiments and more.
The place is well-built and quiet. We saw maybe six people (or the same two) in seven days. Note that the third bathroom is downstairs, which still worked for three couples to each have their own bathroom. GREAT linens.
My birthday wish was to see an eagle. We saw them everyday! It was almost as if they posed for us.
Ror, the owner, was quick to respond when we had questions even from the very beginning of booking this reservation. Trust me, this is the place you want to be if you’d like to enjoy a waterfront property vacation. We can’t wait to return!

The home is perfectly situated on the water. Windows cover the front of the home and we enjoyed the view watching the storms roll in and out and the seagulls breaking shells. The kitchen is well equipped and we found everything we needed. All of the bedrooms are upstairs and all with comfortable beds. The home has beautiful finishes and comfortable furniture. We felt pampered staying here and would definitely come again.

My family's stay at Ella's Cottage was a wonderful chance to unwind and enjoy the simplicity of island life. Most days were spent playing on the sand with shells, building forts with driftwood, and watching the tide roll in and out from the beautiful back deck and yard.. We barely saw another soul. The home is comfortable, cozy, and beautifully appointed. The chef's kitchen made cooking a dream. The cottage had everything anyone could possibly want or need, including thoughtful touches like warm blankets, binoculars, boots, sand toys, and a welcome gift. We hope to return to Whidbey and Ella's one day soon.

Our second time staying here was just as wonderful as our first time. I loved that the house was so spacious that we could retreat to our bedrooms then gather together downstairs or outside. Our 3 year old enjoyed having the play lawn and we all appreciated the easy access to the beach. And then there were the sunsets!!

The house and property are beautiful, spacious, and well kept up. The house and property were clean and fresh upon our arrival. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with anything you could possibly need. Useful playthings for kids and adults are provided. The beach and views are spectacular. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

From the first moment we stepped through the door to see the amazing view, we enjoyed relaxing in this wonderful house and taking long walks on the beach. A perfectly appointed, family friendly Whidbey Island beachfront home.
The homeowner made renting this home very easy. He was responsive and quickly answered our questions. The home is perfectly located with beachfront access with sunsets that are mesmerizing. Top-notch rental property
This rental property is excellent. It exceeded my family's expectations and they are excited to return. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen is available. The indoor spaces are conducive to quality conversations and connection. Three comfortable king beds provided quality slumber. The beach at low tide made for incredible beach combing and walking opportunities. Sand dollars abound! Our stay at Ella's Beach House was outstanding. President's Day Getaway
My family of 4 adults and 2 children (8 and 10) had a wonderful time at this property. The location is convenient and minutes from the ferry. The beach right out the backdoor is beautiful and quiet. The house is perfectly maintained and easily fit our group of 6. The kitchen had everything we could want to cook meals and the garage was packed with all the beach necessities. Communication with the owner was easy and accurate.
We cannot say enough good things about this house and cannot wait to go back.

Gorgeous Home, Spectacular Sunsets
This was the 2nd time we stayed in this beautiful home and each time it was so difficult to leave. The location is just perfect and the view of the Sound and the Olympic mountains in the distance are beyond compare. The kids had a blast playing on the beach all day. Both the interior spaces and the lovely deck and sitting areas are well appointed and so very comfortable. This home is guaranteed not to disappoint!

Terrific House, Great View, & Wonderful Management
This rental really has almost everything you could ask for. Unlike so many other places, they had all the utensils and food basics (ketchup, salt, butter, pepper, olive oil, cooking spray, and much more) you need. They even had frosted mugs in the freezer.
The rooms are great, especially the master overlooking the water and the great jacuzzi tub and oversized shower with three shower heads.
My friends and I mostly just hung out and enjoyed the company and the views. The tide didn't cooperate as low tide was during the night, but we just hiked elsewhere.
My only guilty request would be a hot tub. It would be an ideal addition to a pretty perfect spot.
Communication with management was great. I highly recommend this place and plan to go back!
