Perfect Location!

What a beautiful and serene place!!! The canyon is gorgeous and you can hear Oak Creek running in the background. The townhouse is very nice, clean and comfortable. Mr. Pabst was very prompt with communications. Will definitely stay here again if I'm back out that way!

Awesome location!!!! We had such an amazing time. This home was very cozy and clean. No issues at all. This was our second time staying here and hopefully we will be back soon.

We liked being in Oak Creek Canyon. It was a beautiful location, quieter and less crowded than Sedona but close to good hiking and decent restaurants.

I almost didn’t give this spot a review because I feel like I’m giving away a secret! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this condo. If you want to be in center of it all, this isn’t the place for you…but if you’re like me and trying to avoid crowds and feel secluded, this is the place! The second we stepped out of our car and the smell of campfire lingered in the air, it immediately felt cozy. Every morning my husband would start a fire in the bedroom while we sat in bed and drank coffee. It was exactly the relaxing stay after spending all day hiking that we needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked well, we found the bed to be incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the heater in the master bath and the in site laundry. Fire wood is sold on site. There are many great hiking trails nearby. When we return to Sedona, this will be the first place I search for!

My usual way of rating a property is to comment on the good things and write a private message to the owners about problems or suggestions on improvements for future guests. This is the first rating that I am addressing the downside in a review that the public can read. I read every review on the website since it has been listed with VRBO. The issues we had with the unit were addressed over the years by several guests and the problems still exist. PROBLEM – VRBO PHOTOS VS REALITY If I rate the property for wonderful setting to relax and enjoy the surroundings, this place gets Five Stars. If the unit looked like the photos on the VRBO website, it would get Five Stars. Sadly, what I saw wasn’t what I got. In a photograph posted on the VRBO website, there is a picture of a long path with a rail leading to a condo building at the top. We assumed the condo at the top was where we were staying. The photo is of the pathway leading from the river up the hill to the driveway of the condos below our VRBO. In reality, the condo is along a short walkway right next to the restaurant. PROBLEM – LIGHTING In the VRBO photographs of the unit, all the rooms are lit with lamps with bright light bulbs. In reality, the condo is very dark and gloomy. In the photographs, the shades on the lamps are beautiful white empire shaped shades. In reality, there are three bedside lamps in the unit … all three lampshades are straw colored and BROKEN, The list goes on but no room to finish

Very clean and cute condo. Two queens upstairs with a bathroom and washer/dryer, master downstairs with bathroom. Nice family room and kitchen. Perfectly set up close to the creek and downtown Sedona. Would definitely stay again.

Liked the location. The heat was a challenge. We were cold most of the time. Messaged owner without a response. Cooking was also a challenge since the oven has one temperature.

We have stayed at Junipine dozens of times and this is one of our favorite spots. Conveniently located near the onsite restaurant, clean, well stocked, updated. The owner is amazing, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. We look forward to our next stay here.

The cabin was comfortable and very close to Oak Creek, which we had fun exploring! The kitchen could have been cleaner, but the rest of the cabin was clean.

I imagine in the summer this condo would be perfect. But the heating system just doesn’t cut it. We were freezing; wrapped in blankets on the couch, constantly stoking the fire ($10 a bundle for wood) that gave off little heat, confusing instructions for the main heating system that never made the condo cozy.

The onsite restaurant, The Table at Junipine was OUTSTANDING! We loved everything about the property but downgraded rating to four stars due to use of fragrant laundry products and hand soaps.

Nice and clean

This was a great place for the four of us. The location was perfect. Just minutes from some of the best hiking in Sedona and minutes from Sedona itself. The Condo complex was quiet and easy to find.

The space was great for a family of 4. The creek access is wonderful and gave us lots to do with our kids. Bring water shoes.

My wife and I spend this weekend in Sedona each year with some friends who stay nearby. This condo was perfectly located for us and everything we wanted to do. The property has a fantastic area where Oak Creek can be easily accessed. There are some chairs for relaxing, a couple picnic tables, and a hiking trail that moseys alongside the creek. The condo itself is very nice. The furniture is comfortable, and a king size bed is always a plus for us. There are a couple nit pics that prevent a five-star rating. For those who like to cook, the pots and pans aren't in great shape and are located in a lower corner cabinet that's not easy to get into. There also wasn't any soap or shampoo for the showers. Our check-in info included "toiletries" among the amenities. Despite those minor issues, we would definitely consider staying in this condo again. When visiting Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon, location is everything and this place is right where we like to be.

This is an outstanding rental. Beautiful property, and you can hear Oak Creek from the deck at all times, kind of like hearing the ocean- very calming. The view is lovely, it is only a 5 minute walk to the creek. Conveniently located 15 minutes from Sedona and a half hour from Flagstaff. It is definitely a little cooler in Oak Creek than in Sedona, which is nice. The condo itself is spacious and well-stocked. We had everything that we needed. Property owner/manager was responsive to my questions. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!

We were having a girl's weekend and found this condo to be just up our alley. It was quiet, serene and easy to get to. As with any place you rent there were some minor issues that we addressed with the property owner. His response was of a positive nature. If our group goes to Sedona again, I would like to stay at this condo again.

Lamps need brighter bulbs and the patio doors are hard to open and close. Would rent this again and the restaurant was excellent
