Loved staying here again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and more. The accommodations were comfortable, the location was quiet and walkable. I would definitely stay again.

Love the apartment, just note that it’s above a house not in a complex. No TV in bedroom :) and no Keurig :). Nice neighborhood, close to downtown within walking distance. Very spacious and clean.

We were in town for a wedding and very busy so we did not get to enjoy the space as much as I would like. However, it was warm and welcoming whenever we returned. Exactly as described and loved the neighborhood. Would love to have the chance to stay again when I could just relax! Thank you for the perfect accommodations!

This is a nice older place, the rooms are all really spacious (bathroom was small but fine for one person). Everything was very clean. I especially liked the eat in kitchen. It looks like it was once an open porch and two sides are all windows. It looks out over the back yard and lots of birdies hanging out. Was very close to the Sawtooth Arts Center where we were at a symposium, and plenty of close places to eat. Only ding is there was only one extra roll of TP and we had to go buy one the last evening.

Downtown Winston Salem only a block from stadium and 2.4 miles from the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Really quiet and peaceful with figs growing right outside your window! Parking is street but I stayed for 4 days and always parked in front of house!

We had a two night stay in Winston for a college tour. The apartment space was ample and perfectly appointed. There were real plants, neutral decor, and a stocked kitchen. We especially appreciated the coffee and French press. Our favorite space was the kitchen with the natural light wall to wall windows and birds. The provided shampoos and bath towels in the remodeled bath smelled amazing. We also liked the private entrance and decks. Everything we needed was provided. My only suggestions are to add a soft neutral throw blanket on the couch and seat cushions for the kitchen chairs.

It was the top floor of an house built in early 1900’s. Very clean and original hardwood floors. It is in a nice area of downtown Winston-Salem and you can see the fireworks from the Dash baseball games on the weekends. Walking distance to many restaurants.

Loved how close it was to downtown but so quiet. Easy parking and cute area. We loved walking to the restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was immaculate. The view from the kitchen/breakfast area was beautiful. We had a great stay.

Love the location of this apartment. Walkable to downtown. Pretty view from the kitchen area. Communication was great with Jillian minus a little snafu of her not sending me the check-in information so I had to track her down. She was in the mountains, so took a bit longer than expected. If you are a noise, sensitive, you may want to know that you can hear people below you providing they are around. It didn’t affect our stay personally.

It was a one day stay but it was a positive experience.

Reasonable property. Would benefit from having detailed written instructions on how to use TV and cable /satellite remote. Difficult to open lock box. Recommend a Keurig. Only option was a French Press.

We were visiting family over Thanksgiving and stayed at this property. The time with family was crazy and this was a comfortable and quiet place for us to retreat to in the evenings. We have stayed at hotels in the area and have been frustrated by either the cost or lack of cleanliness and this was a great alternative. Jillian was easy to communicate with, no extra cost for parking and the apartment was cozy, clean and quiet. We loved the bright kitchen and in the morning it was nice to start the day watching the birds at the feeders. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, wonderful hosts, spacious and clean. We were in town for a wedding on 4th St. We were so lucky that this apartment was a block and half away from the venue, close to downtown for shopping. Great for bird and squirrel watchers, as they were well fed by the hosts.

Such a lovely quiet clean place. Fabulous kitchen with huge windows overlooking a peaceful yard. A box of Kleenex would have been helpful

This was one of my favorite VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in! The place is perfectly located- you can get anywhere downtown by walking. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of street parking. The apartment is very spacious and there’s some outdoor areas too if you want to sit outside with a cup of coffee in the morning. The hosts answered all of our questions within minutes and were very helpful. Would absolutely recommend booking!

We utilized our stay to shop, organize and move our son into college, it was a perfect size, perfect location and very clean and roomy. Exactly what we needed for the weekend. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This apartment is absolutely charming and lovely! We were only sorry that we were in town for an event and used the space for little more than sleeping. We would happily return for a longer stay here - a perfect location for exploring a charming downtown. This was our first VRBO experience and it went so very smoothly - seriously, don't hesitate to book your stay here!!!

Downtown neighborhood treetop gem!
We loved this beautiful apartment so convenient and easily walkable to downtown Winston-Salem. This second floor, large apartment has stunning hardwood floors throughout, a newly remodeled kitchen, large bedrooms, a comfortable living room, and a cute bathroom. Oh, and the amazing light that simply flows into the kitchen just brightens one's spirit. The house is very secluded with lush plantings around the yard, including at least one big fig tree (with fruit not quite ripe during our stay). I also enjoyed the treetop view of so many birds as there are abundant feeders around the property and adjacent houses. On-street parking was very easy, no problem at all. My one suggestion is to replace the key lock on the door. It was difficult (really, quite difficult) to use, both for checking in and also when leaving. And while we didn't drive our EV, do check with the owners to be sure you make arrangements with them if you need to charge. Highly recommend! Would love another weekend in W-S.

A little gem
This apartment is absolutely incredible!! The hosts are so amazing - Jillian is incredibly kind and responsive.
I really can’t speak highly enough about our experience in this adorable rental. We stayed in Winston Salem for a few nights and the home exceeded every expectation we had. It is central to everything you could need - only a few blocks from the downtown strip. The rental came equipped with all the basic plus more - like everyday condiments, shortenings, laundry pods, dryer sheets, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
I love that the hosts are committed to making it a safe space for everyone by opting to use unscented products. The check-in and check-out process were seamless. It was absolutely spotless upon arrival. The views into the backyard from the kitchen alone were worth ever penny. If we ever visit again, we will be back without hesitation to this property.
