We stayed for a week. The property is right downtown. The host gave great communication. We appreciated how well stocked the place was with towels and coffee. I have brain damage and like quiet it was very peaceful even though it’s a downstairs unit. Thanks it’s a gem!

Very comfortable. Everything appeared nearly new and clean. Nice central location in Grass Valley so it was great for me as it was close to various family members.

Nice bedroom and large bathroom with equipped kitchen just right for two. One block away from the main street in Grass Valley. I would recommend to everyone looking.

I will start by saying I will be going back. Great place for a couple to get away. Very private and walking distance to all Nevada City has to offer, dining, shopping, ect.
If you think the picture are great (as I did) wait till you see this cute little place in person!

The best location to walk everywhere in downtown Grass Valley. The apartment is wonderfully decorated / modern / great decor. Easy parking and very accommodating host! Perfect for 1/2 people that are looking for an alternative to hotel room with extras + great price point!!

Property manager was great with communication. Only negative was that you can hear the people walking around in the unit above through the ceiling. Other than that it was perfect!

The kitchenette (two gas burners, microwave) was well stocked with utensils and pots. The room was nicely furnished, very comfortable for the two of us. Right off downtown, making most trips very walkable (we did drive up to the Briar Patch Coop for groceries and charging, the fast charger there is cheaper than the L2 charger at the hotel behind this property).
We will definitely check for vacancy here next time we head to Grass Valley, or just need a weekend getaway.

This was exactly all I needed for a 5 day stay in charming Grass Valley! All the comforts and conveniences of home.
When I come back to Grass Valley. I would look to stay here again as my first choice.

Cute spot and the owner replied immediately when I couldn’t find my door code. Nice kitchen, cozy bed and super close to everything. I walked to breakfast, shopping and the wonderful Center for the Arts. I would stay here again.

Nice studio, great location
We had a great time staying here. Very satisfied with the space (my fiancé liked the bathroom and now has more ideas for our future remodel and I appreciated the outdoor table & chairs), and we really appreciated how responsive and informative Trish was to random questions like "what type of coffee maker do you have?" (both Keurig and a french press)

Great place to stay right in downtown!
This place was amazing! The home was super cozy and cute and very clean. It was just a walk to downtown main street in a very pretty town. I would highly recommend staying here to visit this area! Very great access to the town and any hiking you might want to do around the area!

Fencing was perfect to keep our dog contained. Highly recommend and will stay again!

Best Place Ever
This is my second stay here and I just love this place. It's quiet, close to everything and the owners Trish and Brett are awesome. It's dog friendly and has a great little yard to go out and relax, have a beverage and chill. I highly recommend the Love Shack and will stay there again. Thank you Trish and Brett!! You're the best!!

The Best Things Come in Small Packages
Everything we needed and wanted for our two-day stay in Grass Valley was provided by this clean, cozy suite. The location is outstanding to explore downtown and the surrounding area, with our favorite restaurant, the South Pine Cafe, just a half-block away. The bed was comfortable, the shower spacious and functional, the TV and Wifi service excellent, and A/C welcome in the heat of the day. While we mostly ate out, the kitchenette was perfect for making morning coffee and reheating leftovers on the stovetop or in the microwave oven. The hosts, Trish and Brad, were very friendly and helpful, and are constantly improving the property--it will only get better as time goes on. Highly recommended for the solo traveler or couple.

This place is charming, owners are awesome and fantastic location.
I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It’s small but quaint and beautifully decorated. It has all the conveniences you need and walking distance to Main and Mill Street. Great ambiance in a quaint town. Trish and Brett went out of their way to accommodate me!
There are some great restaurants and I hope next time to explore trails etc!
You will not be disappointed!!!! I asked to stay an additional night and was grateful it was open!
It really is quite the place and I am looking forward to visiting it again!!!
