lovely place needs to be better look after and modernised especially the toilet
position next to the beach
old fashioned with 2 light fittings missing. poorly cleaned for arrival the outdoor furniture was filthy

Little gem in an amazing location.
Amazing location.
Original condition which is all ok however the beds are in serious need of an upgrade. They must be at least 25 plus years old.

Perfect location, unfortunately the week was tainted by very poor sleeping conditions.
The staff at O'Meara Property were courteous and efficient with an easy location to collect from central Nelson Bay. The property location was absolutely perfect, the beds very firm which would not be to everyone's liking. In general the unit served a purpose, the kitchen facilities were adequate, the bathroom very clean, with plenty of hot water.
The unit is looking tired, I would not recommend touching the curtains, be careful of the lounge rug which is an accident waiting to happen. Unfortunately there's no where outside to wash sand off before entering the unit, there is a shower outside but no ability to turn it on as the handle is one of those which is not permanent. There's no air-conditioning which during the summery months would be uncomfortable, there are windows on two sides which do facilitate some breeze, but on a still night I could see it being an issue to some people. One serious concern was the irrigation system which kicks in at 9.30pm and switches off at 11.46pm and with this if you are looking for a peaceful evening forget it. With the unit being positioned above the irrigation pump the noise that resonates through the unit can only be described as the equivalent as trying to sleep on top of an electrical substation. The first night my children were in tears as they could not get to sleep, what did we do for the rest of the nights, well my children just had to stay awake for as long as possible, not good having children awake until 11.30'ish. I did report this to O'Meara Property who were very understanding of the problem and did put a call in to Strata but nothing could be done. Would I stay at the property again? Absolutely not due to the irrigation system. If you're a night owl or are not impacted by oppressive noises at night whilst trying to sleep then this is the place for you due to it's wonderful location.
