Great location, lots to see fairly close by. Property was very well maintained especially the gardens which are stunning.

The bungalow was clean and comfortable.
The host was welcoming and thoughtful ensuring we had everything we needed.
The location was beautiful, peaceful and convenient for Sheffield and the Peak District.
The kitchen was very well appointed and spotless with a wonderful view over the valley.

Good location, nice accommodation, beautiful gardens and great views.

Beautiful location with lovely views from the kitchen, terrace and garden. Very peaceful with no road noise etc. Close to a few nice local pubs, lots of lovely local walks and other nice scenery.
Bottle of wine and biscuits waiting for us on arrival which was a nice touch.
Our dog enjoyed herself and the big garden.
I'd just say if you have a very cat reactive dog or a proper escape artist, it might not be the place for you unless you want to always have your dog on a lead. The garden was large and lovely but we were a bit nervous about her seeing one of their cats and attempting to become best friends. Our dog is too dopey to jump fences/squeeze small gaps but it felt like there was the potential for this should you have a dog who was good at escaping!

We liked the location where we were staying.
Bed was very uncomfortable, the sheets were all different colour and very uncomfortable, damp smell in the house, the owner lived next door ( none of that was mentioned ), used items such as shower gel, body lotion, coffee etc was left in the property which shows very poor standards. Also we couldn’t feel comfortable using the garden area as she had 2 dogs and a cat. We also brought our pet with us and she had to stay in doors the whole time.

Everything was great about the property and we have already booked another stay here.
The only thing we would have changed would be to have an extra hour before departure time on the day we left.

Great venue and hosts!! We had a brilliant stay and will be back in July. The pub down the road is perfect too just all round good getaway. Our dog can’t with us and loved it
