Clean and very spacious. Great views

Pool area not very inviting poor quality furniture No cushions on sun beds

We really enjoyed our stay! The accommodation is very clean and conveniently located, in a quiet and beautiful setting. Nice pool and great views of the surrounding hills.

Easy to find from bus stop. Amazing views from the balcony. Beautifully landscaped area. Kostas spoke brilliant English (well, American!!) and was really helpful. Great location to walk to Troulos beach and other smaller beaches but also for catching the bus to Koukonaries or to skiathos town. Amazing eateries very near by. Worth the money having bottled water delivered to our door. We had 18 bottles of water for the 6 of us which we were grateful not to have to carry up the steep hill. We paid Kostas 15Euros for tax and the water. Worth every cent! Pool was small but lovely and well maintained and only ever about 4-6 people in at a time so ideal for cooling off and sitting around. Apartment 5 was perfect for us. 2 bedrooms; one with 4 beds in for our 4 teenagers and one double for us. Lovely breeze so didn't need air con during the day but cooled us all well at night. Kitchen facilities very basic (2 ring hob, microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment for making ice, kettle) but okay for simple meals (pasta one night, omelette another!) Housekeeping staff friendly and worked really hard in the heat.

I'd have loved a small bar or cafe area to be able to sit on site and have a drink in the evening!

the property was in a nice location.

it was abysmally poorly equipped (cooking impossible, and the owner on arrival advised us against this). there was only a partial division between rooms, meaning no privacy. the curtain pole fell down injuring my daughter. there was a neon exit light preventing sleep … But worst was the attitude of the owner-manager, who attempts to run this ‘resort’ like an army boot-camp: stalking you, barking commands (shower your feet!), basically patrolling the place to make sure we ‘behave’. I wish I had read the negative reviews before (non-refundable) booking. I could not believe they were true. But none of us could believe how we (and everyone else) were treated there - We paid £3,000 to be subjected to Kostas’ ‘regime’. I have never experienced anything like it.

Accommodation close to nice beaches and good restaurants. Clean pool. Very quit and beautiful surroundings. Apartment is very comfortable. Very charming and hospitable host.

Everything was fine

I loved the place, staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. Very helpful lovely people. Kostas is the perfecr host, the ladies kept the place very clean and they were so lovely. Will miss the place very much and everyone. Location is also perfect. Close the the best beach in Skiathos.

The setting of the apartments is really lovely. It's up on a hill so no noise from the street, and the walls are thick enough that we didn't hear other guests although they were all around. The apartment was spacious, the beds and pillows super comfortable. The owner was extremely personable, speaks perfect English, and arranged our rental car and a boat trip around the island for us. Also provided good restaurant recommendations. The air-conditioning worked really well. The room is cleaned daily, very much appreciated in a beach community. The pool was very nice and in a lovely setting.

Although in the Booking.Com amenities list it included a coffee maker (twice) for this property, there wasn't one. I emailed ahead as this is important to us so I knew to bring my own. The owner seemed not to be aware that one was advertised. The furnishings are sparce and very basic. The bedroom had no window, and seemed always a bit dark. There were no extra touches in the kitchen, so no bread knife, no salt/pepper/olive oil or dish soap/sponge; little amenities which are often included in furnished holiday apartments. It seems wasteful to buy all that for 5 days. The shower wasn't very powerful or efficient, and there wasn't really anywhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. This would all be more acceptable for a property at a lower price. The light bulb burned out in the bathroom, we told the owner but he forgot to change it. The air-con drained into a plastic bottle on the terrace, which was fine except when it overflowed making the terrace wet at the entrance to the apartment. The WIFI wasn't strong, maybe this is true everywhere on the island, I don't know.
