The most unique accommodation we have ever seen. The are several houses at Guara Rural, which are located at a secluded and peacful location with beautiful views. There is no doubt we were completely surprised by the decoration and design of the 2 houses we rented. There were many animals on the walls, antique fernitures, old wells, antique tools etc. Basically the place looks like and old mension from the movies. We were very disturbed initially and the young children were even scared and reluctant to sleep there, but after a couple of hours we calmed down and realized it was very unique and we looked at it as a great experience and even adventure. The owner explained to us there is a lot of history in these houses. The house was huge, with a very big living room, kitchen and a dining table for 14 people. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms wete comfortable. The owner was very helpful in suggesting things to do around the area (though he doesn't speak a word in English which makes it very difficult to communicate). I highly recommend this accommodation for people who are looking for something different and a great experience.

There are no supermarkets or gas stations 40 min drive away which makes it very difficult to be organized for a long stay at this area. There was only one air conditioner at the big house we rented which was in the living room. We also rented a second house (a villa with 3 bedrooms) which had no air conditioners at all. It was difficult to spend time in the houses and to sleep because it was too hot.

Incredible location, great house, staff friendliness and service

Beds and pillows are not comfortable enough

The person at the reception was so friendly and helpful. He made our stay very easy. He recommended us many routes where we went for hiking an all. He was such a friendly person. The apartment was very clean and organised. It had everything we needed for cooking etc too.

The owner of the place who we talked on the phone was a bit rude and misunderstanding us and treating us that we were trying to take advantage. However our only purpose to ask and learn. If the answer was a NO then it is a NO but there is no reason to talk louder (!) on the phone by losing the patience to your customers.

Good location (15 min from Bierge and Tamara canyon and 30 min from Alquézar). The property is big and composed by renovated house and dependencies, weel, terrace, dating back from the 18th century, offering sublim panoramic view and 3 cute cats. Huge common areas including restroom with sofas and table. Big bathroom. Good Wifi. The host Jesus is very welcoming and gives a lots of advices about activities/shopping in the area.

Only the breakfast could be slighly improved (more choice maybe). It was quite simple but good and enough.
