Excellent property with lots of water toys and space to spread out! Kitchen had all essentials for prepping meals and was large enough for everyone to join in. Close enough to town for anything you may have forgotten to get but far enough out to really feel like you're getting away.

Outstanding experience. If I could give 10 Stars I would . This was my first experience renting in Maine. I live in Portland Maine and I was looking for a place to bring my dog and have different friends visit separately over the course of my stay. I wanted a place that was private, directly on the lake with a great kitchen, and private baths/sleeping for them. We’ll this hit every salient point- a beautiful large open kitchen, with a huge Viking stove . A gorgeous Weber grill and wrap around deck. In addition to the spacious and fantastically clean accommodations, outside on the deck we were mesmerized by the continual ‘National Geographic ‘ show of eagles feeding their juvenile and flying over head. The call of the loons was melodious to our ears and being able to melt s’mores (provided by the owner) brought us back to our youth. The gigantic TV in the living room was fun to entertain with as well. Kudos to Matt + Carissa for providing such a wonderful experience in the Maine Woods~ 😋

Communication with property manager was easy and Matt was very careful during our stay. The whole property is great -spacious bedrooms, great balcony and private access to the lake. The kitchen is well equipped and they provided everything for a fun weekend - kayaks, canoe, stand up paddle, etc.

This was our second time staying at this lovely home because we had such a great time a few years ago. The house was just as we remembered it. Everything you might need is provided and the owner is super responsive. The power dipped briefly during a Summer thunderstorm and the generator kicked right in. We barely noticed. We'll be back!

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay. The location on this quiet lake was perfect for safe family swimming and water activities like paddle boarding. The house was spacious and comfortable. Great firepit for making s'mores. We all agreed it was one of our favorite vacation spots ever!

Our extended family spent a week at this lakeside retreat. The owner Matt provided kayaks (3), paddle boards (2) along with a canoe. All were taken advantage of daily. There is also a large dock that easily accommodated out 18 foot ski boat rental. The inside of the house was spotless with all basic amenities included. The house has Central Air which proved very beneficial during a hotter than normal week! The back deck ran the entire length of the house and the back yard is large and very private. Will definitely look to return!

This property is the perfect place for an extended family, with separate living spaces on the ground, 2nd, and 3rd floors. Had something for everyone. Spacious and open living and eating spaces with a beautiful deck to fit large groups. The kids (age 6mo-5 years) loved the “secret room” and the entire home was very kid friendly. The lake was beautiful and quiet. We rented a pontoon boat and often found ourselves one of only a few boats on the water. Also 15 mins to Naples with bars, restaurants, live music. House came with 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, and a canoe, which all of the adults enjoyed all week. Would definitely rent here again for next year’s family vacation!

We had our family reunion at this Wonderful home and property. We felt safe and secure and everyone loved the location. We had rented a Boat and a car and had daily trips around the Portland, Maine area and it was perfect !

This property did not disappoint! The house is beautiful and clean! The rental process and check-in was very easy! We enjoyed the canoe and paddle boards provided with the rental. Plenty to do, we kept busy with fishing, hiking, boating, a nearby Wildlife Park and a day trip to the beach. The little ones enjoyed the hidden play room. We ended each day watching the amazing sunsets and time around the fire pit. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

Everything about the house and property was great. Booking and communication with the owners was easy and the house was gracious and more than met our expectations. We particularly loved sitting on the dock enjoying the sun and breezes, even if the water was a bit chilly on Memorial Day weekend. Perhaps we'll have a chance to come again sometime!

My family and I rented this property so we would have somewhere to stay during my graduation weekend. The property is beautiful, the house is beautiful, and we enjoyed the use of all the house and lake had to offer. My family had a great time and we would definitely rent again!

The house was beautiful and spacious. It was a wonderful spot for a family vacation. Very quiet and we were even able to get out in the canoe to fish. My husband loved the sauna, fire pit, and all the amenities. Everything about the property was easy and made for a perfect getaway.

House was great, well appointed and clean. Everything was as described in the listing. Matt was very clear in communication and made himself available for any needs. Sauna was an excellent bonus for the wintertime. Would highly recommend.

The house was perfect and was everything we were looking for. Amazing setting, overall accommodation was beyond expectation, close to so many places. Hope to have the chance to be back.

We stayed here a few years ago and the property has been well maintained. The dock and lake are the main attractions. Matt is very responsive to any issues that might arise.

Rented this property so all our family could be together to lay our Father/Grandfather to rest in New Gloucester. Matt responded to all our questions in a timely manner. He has a beautiful home and we enjoyed the view but the weather was too chilly ~ wished it was warmer so we could have enjoyed the lake. Many games to choose from and we loved playing LRC.
