The apartment itself is very well maintained and nice. It was clean except the curtains could use a washing, they were dusty. Loved the balcony, loved the view, loved that parking was included. The pool was okay: welcome on a very hot day but not the best maintained pool and very difficult to get to...
The location worked great for us! We walked to our friend's house in Monaco. While it seems remote, there is very good bus service and there is a pharmacy, small grocery, etc, about a 10 minute walk. The grocery store does have free parking, so if you are stocking up, it will be easy to park and then bring supplies to the apartment.
The owner met us and was very nice. Be sure to listen carefully when he explains where everything is because it is not obvious....
BE FORWARNED: the address on Booking is NOT CORRECT! This apartment is located at 5 Avenue Prince Rainier III de Monaco, 06320 Cap-d'Ail, France. It is NOT at 4 4.....
The pool is difficult to get to, you access it from the 4th floor as I remember which is odd. The parking space is small, very typical for Europe but not easy for Americans....don't rent a big car!
