The property was bright, fresh and immaculately cleaned, I liked the neutral colour palette too as keeps it looking like new. Anything we asked for Pilar responded to, she clearly loves the apartment due to some of the little details and furnishings. There were some nice touches too like Shower gel and toilet rolls, a bottle of water. The Nespresso coffee machine was a welcome delight with a few pods too. We did have to buy a few extra items for the kitchen like a tea towel and a spatula , (we know if we’d have asked Pilar would have probably got for us) but the kitchen doesn’t look like it’s ever been used- so clean! We know the area so the location is perfect for us and in the next street up there’s some lovely eateries, plus a big well stocked supermarket. There’s beach bars directly outside and a 15 minute walk along the seafront to the nice cafes.

We loved it and would happily live there and hope to return.

Everything was great - great location, well equipped clean apartment with a great sea view. The tram being next to the apartment block meant we could explore Alicante and we even travelled down to Benidorm with ease. Lovely location right on a beautiful beach - great restaurants nearby, McDonalds, Burger King etc. Fabulous supermarket too within a few mins walk - Consum - I've never found a better equipped supermarket abroad!

Two very small points were that we needed to ask for additional pillows as we only had one each, and tea towels (they had substituted this for kitchen roll for hygiene purposes), and the owner kindly gave to us before our third and fourth night and we found the mugs to be very small - us English like a big mug of coffee or tea!! - just a small pointer but everything else was great!

Everything within walking distance. Great restaurants near by, local and international food. Supermarket 3 min from appartment. Excellent communication with the owners, before, during and after the stay.

Beautiful apartment in a good location. Pilar was an excellent host and extremely helpful and friendly.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

Absolutely wonderful location. The view is simply stunning. The hosts were very kind and took time to explain the details of the property and even recommended some wonderful restaurants nearby. The apartment is very modern and our family of 4 were very comfortable.

The apartment appears newly renovated and seems to be well taken care of. Kudos to including many small items - paper towels, olive oil, salt, pepper, and a few coffee capsules that many others don't provide - it's wonderful to not have to buy these small things when you are traveling. The owner didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much Spanish, but she really tried to make sure that everything was alright. Definitely someone who cares about their guests. The apartment is located only a few steps from the beach and a metro stop which takes you into town in 20 or so minutes. You can also head north on the tram to Benidorm (or Denia) so it is an excellent base to explore the Costa Blanca. Walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. The beds were comfortable (if a bit small - but typical Spanish size), bathroom had plenty of space, and kitchen was fully equipped with dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave. There was even a juicer to make fresh orange juice.

Spanish construction - although renovated, most of the windows did not close properly and let in a fair amount of wind (which is relatively common on the 12th floor of a building). This is typical of Spanish construction and while the apartment has central heat and air so you can easily stay comfortable, it is a shame that they don't pay much attention to the environmental impacts. The only real complaint about the apartment was that there was only one non-butter knife in the kitchen which made cutting things up a bit of a challenge, and you could only make coffee using capsules.
