We really enjoyed our cabin, it was very nice and clean. Super convenient location, close to Deadwood and short drives anywhere else to get the full experience the Hills have to offer. Will book again!!!

Nice house but could use help in a few areas Hot tub supplies (no shock). Hot tub got very gross by the end of our 4 day stay! Could also use more towels! Thermostat-hard to believe this house only has one thermostat for 3 levels but that’s all we could find! Hotter than heck upstairs and froze in the basement. (Heat in laundry room but that wasn’t an issue) Broken towel hanger in upstairs bathroom. We ended up buying salt for the road. The listing said you needed 4-wheel drive and that is a fact. Water pressure is very low. If someone was showering barely water at the kitchen sink. Washer needs to be balanced, it’s gonna shake itself to death. Gorgeous home and we had a great time just had a few issues when you are paying that much money!

This was a perfect fit for my daughter's bridal party. It was postponed from March due to Covid and had no problem whatsoever in changing the date. I would highly recommend staying at this property. Loved it!

Thank you for having us at your property. A family of 4 and a family of 5 had plenty of room for all of us. The two master bedrooms were perfect. We liked how it was right off the main road and access to skiing and Deadwood were quick and hassle free. The driveway is steep so if inclement weather could be difficult getting up it, but a 4wd vehicle should be able to handle it no problem. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful cabin in the hills.

We had a blast at the lazy dog cabin! It’s a very short 5-7 min drive to Terry Peak, which is exactly why we chose this place. It’s cozy and very clean. Highly recommend.

This property was beautiful and the location was ideal.

Our whole family enjoyed this place. It was clean, cozy and spacious. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that it was right off a main highway and a very steep hill- from the pictures it looked like it was a ways off from any roads and a normal driveway leading up to it. None of these things would keep me from renting it again...I just thought the pictures were a little misleading!

We had a wonderful stay at his lodge . It is spacious and clean with wonderful Mountain View’s. We wish they had better access for motorcycles

A group of my friends stayed at the Lazy Dog Lodge for a getaway weekend. Several commented that the home was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The view looking into the Black Hills is spectacular. There is plenty of room to gather in the living room and kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time hanging out and playing cards around the big island. Enjoyed sitting around the fire and the beautiful view of the hills was awesome. Would absolutely stay again!!

The stay was great, kitchen had good kitchen supplies etc. Only thing I can say negative is the master room bed is extremely wore out, the living room table is about to fall apart. Basically the furniture needs some attention. But I also understand its a rental house. Again, beautiful house, we had a blast. Thank you Mike

This home is very new and clean, convenient to skiing and adventures in Deadwood and the hills. The hot tub was nice to have too. We have stayed in many VRBO rentals throughout the country. We felt the “no cancellation” policy on this one was stiff. With weather issues and elderly parents, health issues, etc., that could come up with families, we feel there at least should be the ability to cancel and get some money back within a few weeks to a month of arrival. The cancellation policy is the reason we gave 4 out of 5 stars.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was roomy enough for our crew of 10. There were plenty of things to do and see, we wished we could stay longer.
