We loved staying here! The house and yard were perfect for our group. Just a short walk to the beach/town. There were plenty of kitchen supplies as well which worked out perfectly for our foodie friends.

Many times We didn’t even want to leave the house or the grounds around the house because it was truly just so relaxing! Can’t wait to go back!

The pros: This house is adorable, and the quiet street that it is on is a private little spot off the beaten path but super close to town. So it's like a getaway with convenient access to everything you need. The lot next door is undeveloped natural landscape so the views out the windows are gorgeous. The house has been updated with a keen eye for beachy minimal design. Cons: The white sofa in the living room is very stained and was quite dirty/beat up. Assuming this is from renters over the years, but it was pretty bad and needs to be replaced.. Also there are no window treatments shades/blinds so be prepared to wake up with the sunrise. Also know that the cost of renting does not include the cleaning lady and you have to remove your own trash at the end of stay. Other than that it was a great escape from Manhattan for the weekend and fun to try a new spot to stay in MTK. Thank you

I absolutely loved this wonderful house and where it is located in Montauk. Great walks to the beach and town but yet far away on a dead end to be away from the crowds and cars. Absolutely will be looking to schedule more time here.

This cottage is the perfect getaway, it’s charming, peaceful, relaxing and clean. Not fussy with a minimalist feel. Tucked away on a private street with light breezes and beautiful natural scenery surrounding it. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to coming back. Owners are wonderful and available if needed but non intrusive. Thank you! L&T

Stayed at the luxury surf cottage for a girls weekend (April 2017) and had such a lovely time! The house is very close to the beach, town, and everything fun to do in Montauk. We used their awesome beach cruisers (2) to ride to the lighthouse and the weather was gorgeous. The house was well equipped, full of light, and perfect down to the last detail. There's even a little fireplace that we roasted smores in during winter. I would definitely stay again and recommend the hosts to anyone. You can't go wrong with this home.

I brought my gandchildren and their parents for a mini holiday - and it was terrific.

The house is very large and easily accommodates 6 people. The kitchen is spacious and if you are so inclined you can cook a great meal. The house is well stocked with glasses and all the plates you need. The master bedroom is plenty large and the shower spacious. The property is close enough to town to take a good walk or accessible by car in 2 minutes for all the items you need. The block the house is located on is extremely private and enables you to relax. I would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful home and is ideal for six people. It is in a very secluded street, which is a pleasant walk to the ocean. It is also a nice walk to Montauk. There were two bikes waiting for us when we arrived and it was lovely to bike into town for bagels in the morning. The house itself is really comfortable and has everything one could need The master bedroom is really beautiful. The kitchen and living room are spacious and comfortable, and the table is big enough for 10. The day we arrived the fridge broke and the owner was truly impressive in dealing with it. She had a new fridge delivered in the morning ( Sunday - try that in Europe!) and offered to have our food kept in a neighbours fridge in the meantime. The outdoor shower was well appreciated every day after the beach. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit Montauk

My family had the greatest vacation at this home. The house was perfect for our family of 6 and had all of the amenities we could ask for. The location was great and allowed us to have access to town and beach , as well as some privacy. We loved just relaxing on the porch in the evenings. The owners could not have been more gracious and were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend. Cant wait to go back!

We had a magnificent time at your home! The decorating was extremely well done and gave a very beachy but sophisticated vibe. High ceilings and open floor plan in the main iving area were perfect. We were able to entertain with ease and still allowed for intimate conversations. I stayed here with my family of 4 and had my children's friends stay a night or two. The location is ideal being a few minute bike ride to both town and the beach. My kids rode the new cruiser bikes everywhere and couldn't have had more fun. We were also a couple of minute walk from the Sagawa State Park. We hiked there daily and took walks along the breathtaking shoreline trail to ditch plains beach. I highly recommend staying and plan to come back next year.

We had a terrific stay and loved the location. The house is close enough to town and beaches that we enjoyed the convenience of walking to both, but just far enough away at the same time for a secluded and quiet setting. The house is well equipped with everything we needed and is quite comfortable. The living room in particular is spacious and made evenings at home equally enjoyable to our days outside. The cliff walk was our favorite thing to do every day, and that is just a five minute walk from the house. We all can't wait to rent again next summer, including our pug Louie, who still raves about his vacation and the dog friendly beaches! The owners' photos and descriptions of the house are spot on and they could not have been friendlier and more helpful. The house was spotless upon arrival. We highly recmmend the house to anyone looking to enjoy montauk and everything it has to offer.

The home exceeded all expectations. The property is perfectly secluded, tucked down a private path surrounded by lush vegetation, our little secret garden for the weekend. I was happy to wake up there each morning and glad to return back after long days at the beautiful nearby beaches.
