I had a wonderful extended weekend at the Starfish Cottage with friends. For many of us, it was our first time to Cape May, and we loved the beautiful town and wonderful beach. The Starfish Cottage was the perfect place to stay. Check-in was straightforward and easy, and the house was exactly as described in the listing. It was such a bonus to have beach equipment available. It was also in walking distance not only to the beach, but to great restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The outdoor landscaping in the front and back yards was very nice to enjoy. We can't thank Chris and Jackie enough for our stay.

The place was just as described. I was impressed by how well stocked it was. It had everything needed for a great family vacation. The listing photos actually don't do justice to how lovely the interior is. The backyard and firepit area were gorgeous with really lush landscaping.

Totally enjoyed our stay. This doesn't feel like a vacation rental, when you walk into this beautiful, welcoming home. There is plenty of room for everyone. Everything is there that you will need to enjoy your stay. Love that each bedroom has its own en suite. We loved every minute and hated to leave.

This property lived up to the glowing reviews left by previous guests - the house is fantastic and the entire rental experience was, too. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished, and has every convenience you’ll ever need. (Even an electric tea kettle!) The backyard is fabulous - love the fire pit setting. The location is outstanding, too - easily walk to the farmstand, coffee house and French bakery, and ride your bike to the beach. The communication with owner Chris before, during and after my stay was excellent. So glad we chose to stay here and I’m sure anyone else would be, too.

This house is pretty spacious, and its layout is ideal. All the furniture, including the beds, are good quality. The best part of this house is its location! It was so easy to go anywhere major in Cape May.

This house was one of the best rentals I’ve ever experienced. It is beautiful, convenient, comfortable, and spacious. The home is fully stocked - I’ve never quite seen so many details taken care of, from games to spices to detergent and first aid supplies. The owners were incredibly responsive and the process was made simple. The place was clean and tidy and there was so much to enjoy in Cape May- even during our winter/pandemic stay. Highly recommended!

This home is beautifully well-maintained, tastefully decorated and very spacious! It’s a short walk to the mall. We enjoyed an easy bike ride to Subset beach, Beach Plum Farm, and the Willow Creek Winery. The mosquitoes were a nuisance but the screened in porch allowed us to still enjoy the outdoors after a fun day at the beach. Finally, the owners are friendly and very responsive. We highly recommend this property!!!

We had a wonderful time at the starfish cottage! Everything was clean, comfortable and incredibly accommodating. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts thought of everything to ensure our stay was stress free. The neighborhood was great and was only a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be renting this home again in the future!

This was one of the best properties we have stayed in with every little detail well thought out. It’s beautifully decorated and immediately puts you at ease the moment you enter. Our two families with young kids were comfortable with plenty of fun things to do inside and away from the house. The beach box and the garage had everything we needed to spend a funday on the beach. The outside shower was perfect to come home, wash up and relax. So many games to play from and spend together time. We will come back to this property for sure. This home was perfect for our stay in Cape May. Having two king sized beds was wonderful, and we also found the location very convenient. We were also pleased that we were able to keep our bikes inside the garage. We have rented vacation homes in Cape May for many years, and this is our favorite house. We plan to rent it for our next vacation!

The house is wonderful! The floor plan is great and everything so clean and well stuffed (including beach passes, gears, pristine kitchen...) . We had such a great time the 8 of us (2 families). Thank you and hope to be back soon.

Everything you want and then some, in a excellent location. The interior is amazing with bathrooms everywhere.

This was our 2nd time staying at Starfish Cottage and it was just as perfect as our first stay! We were looking to do something extra special this year with our family for the Thanksgiving holiday so we decided to invite them to stay with us in Cape May. After dining at the Washington Inn for Thanksgiving dinner, we enjoyed playing games in the family room and the warmth of the fireplace. We also enjoyed a couple of hikes at one of our favorite places - Cape May Point State Park, plus, holiday shopping at the Washington Street Mall. Our family was thoroughly impressed with how clean and comfortable the house was and they were completely thrilled they had their own private bathroom with a king size bed. Now that we have stayed at Starfish Cottage in both warm and cold weather months, we can say with confidence this is a home for all seasons! Thank you, Chris and Jackie, for always making the reservation/communication process stress - free and easy. You are the BEST!!!

Starfish Cottage is by far one of the absolute best vacation homes we ever rented in Cape May! We could not have been any more pleased with our selection. From beginning to end, our interactions with Chris & Jackie were completely stress - free and the house is everything we were hoping it would be and more. The house was "extremely" clean, "beautifully" decorated, and conveniently/centrally located within minutes of all of our favorite places. One of the many highlights from our trip was renting a golf cart from a place located within a 5 minute walk up the street from the house! There are countless things to do without having to drive more than 10 minutes in any direction: Hiking, Bird watching with world-class birding experts, beach/swimming in the ocean, biking, shopping at the Washington Street Mall, Birding by Boat on the Osprey, driving around town in a golf cart rental, miniature golf, and endless options for dining out. It is extremely rare to find a vacation home that checks off every single box but we definitely found it with Starfish Cottage and we will absolutely return for years to come. Thank you, Chris & Jackie for being so amazing and making sure we had the most enjoyable time at your beautiful home!

The starfish cottage was the perfect location for our family trip to Cape May. It is clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and has everything needed for a comfortable and fun beach vacation. It rained for most of our vacation, but the cottage offered respite from the weather. We watched movies and played games all provided in the cottage. The covered deck was also convenient so that we could enjoy the outdoors without getting wet. And when it was nice and we went to the beach, the outdoor shower was great for cleaning off sand upon our return. We made great use of the available wagon and beach toys. With the close proximity to everything, we could have walked almost everywhere that went. With the rainy weather, everything was just a few minute drive. The cottage provides a perfectly relaxing location with lots of entertainment. We cannot wait to go back again!

Aside from the being great property. The owner does a great job of making the guest feel at home. Very good with responding to questions when needed.

My family and I had an unforgettable stay. The home was brand new with everything you could ask for. Each room was spacious with our own bathrooms! This property went above and beyond our expectations. Proximity to my favorite yoga class, golf cart rental, Cape May Market, CVS, farmers market, and more. Cant wait to come back next year.
