The host Katy was very kind and hospitable. she welcomed us with a clean and well equipped unit. we even had ice cream waiting for us, which was amazing bc we arrived on a hot day! the place is quiet and the views are beautiful.

the only issue was the lack of air conditioning in the unit, since it was especially hot during our July visit. we know this is often the case (ie no AC) in many vacation units. Katy did provide us with ventilators, which made the heat bareable

We loved everything about this house, we spent a fabulous time here - an old, renovated beautiful Spanish house in the middle of nature, but also so close to Llagostera city. You wake up in the morning and you step outside to see green hills, Katy’s beautiful horses and to hear the birds singing - all your senses coming to life! Such an authentic feeling! The house was sparkling clean, it is very spacious and has everything one might need. Katy and her family have been so friendly and helped us feel like at home and gave us all the information we asked for. Our baby girl still asks about Katy’s children as they got to spend time together almost every day at the playground. We really hope that we can return one day! Thank you so much for everything!

The location is so peaceful and the outdoor space is incredible. It is within 30 minutes of all of our favorite coastal spots. The owners treated us like family and spoiled us with sweet treats!

If you want a peaceful place to stay which is run by very nice people I would highly recommend Can Cabanyes, The accommodation has everything you need for a restful stay.

Kati is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the garden (including fresh vegetables) a lot! The place is peaceful and quiet. You can hike in the near area and there are some beaches which you can visit. A car is recommended for this accommodation.

Katie was a great host, friendly and approachable, and couldn't do enough to help. We particularly appreciated the addition of things we didn't even notice we were missing like Cava glasses, bug repellent candles and a table covering. The location is perfect - handy for all the attractions, but peaceful and away from it all. Lovely walks and bike trails from the doorstep, and a great place to watch shooting stars (and thunderstorms!) at night. Definitely benefited from having a car, but you could make it work with a taxi from Girona airport and bike rental from the bike shop in Llagostera.

Wifi was a bit patchy. Not a huge problem, - the teenagers missed it more than we did... The hob worked great, but the oven tended to scorch things.

Love it! Lovely family. Great location for walking.
