The apartment is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and located in a quiet area, which is exactly what we look for in a property. Free wifi and a television makes it a home from home.
We were very happy with it.
It is a 5 minute drive to the clean sandy beaches of Roker and Seaburn, and there's a long, wide promenade which is ideal for walking.
Everything was spotlessly clean in the apartment, and we had everything we needed if we wanted to self cater.
The host's father, Kevin, was close at hand if we had any problems.
Hybrid car added bonus - We enquired about the cost of charging our hybrid car and were told we could use it free of charge, and that the owner would be very happy for us to use it - which we did.

Clean, nice, amazing place. We are feeling safe here and we have everything what we need. Beautiful and area, close to the Beach and any shops. Thank You very much.

Location was ideal for our needs. Apartment was perfect size wise and the facilities provided were excellent.
There is not a huge amount of parking available, although this did not cause a problem for us during our stay.

There was a distinct smell of dogs as you entered the building which was not welcoming especially daughter having few allergy issues. Also heard dogs barking within the facilities and we thought the apartment had no pet policy?
We had to hit the boost button in the evening to get hot water.. it may have had a timer only to go on in the morning and not in the afternoon??? The owner did let us know how to hit the boost button which helped. Thanks.
Be aware the walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbour's. So be cautious when you are booking and want a quite nights sleep.
The front door is quite loud when closing so be aware. Also quite funny handle outside so be careful when opening as I cut my thumb trying to open.

Ideally located for stadium of light, city centre, metro station and the beach.
clean & modern with everything needed for a self catering stay.
Clear & concise instructions received. A very nice touch was the box of ‘Jubilee’ cupcakes and Prosecco in the fridge.

The apartment was lovely,modern and clean. Great location for sea front and parks. We had a wonderful stay. Would use again for sure. Free and easy parking a huge benefit.
