Great location in Troon, close to centre & promenade. Well equipped apartment and comfortable for our 2 night stay.

Strong smell of cigarettes despite no smoking signs in the accommodation.

Rented flat not applicable for meals. Loved that it was so central for the town.

Stairs, knew there were stairs before we went, easier for younger couple but we managed them. Water in shower and bathroom sink got very hot but no hot water in kitchen, there were instructions about boosting the hot water in sink by using a booster in first cupboard in hall, we tried to do this but hall cupboard was locked.

kitchen countertops not clean and had to clean when we arrived. fittings in bathroom rusty (toothbrush holder), would be better removed. trolley ideal for putting makeup/toiletry bags but very dirty.

We arrived after dark and it was raining.The flat was not easy to find and we were cold and wet by the time we finally found it. We looked again in the daylight and there is no sign that says Ailsa Retreat

Very comfortable and clean apartment with everything I needed for a weekend stay and excellent location too. The bed was very comfortable and the area was quiet so I slept well. Useful to have tea, coffee, washing up liquid and toilet rolls provided.

I wasn't sure if there was a specific parking space I should have parked in?

Very bright and very clean. Very well equipped; everything we could possibly have needed. Easy access instructions and parking.

Only little thing. Arriving around 4.30 in the getting dark time the entrance and stairs were a bit drab looking and not very well lit. Probably this is out of the owners' control and once we were inside it did not matter.

The bed was huge! Flat immaculate with little extra touches for covienence.

We couldn't stay longer haha.

It was spotless, had all the facilities I required, was very comfortable and it was in the centre of Troon for easy access to the shops and shore.

It was supposed to be a couple holiday but my other half was unwell. I thought the accommodation was clean, well stocked and great location for the west coast. I felt safe and comfortable.

I didn't realize it was up two flights of stairs. Not a problem for me but could be a slight issue for people with mobility issue.

Ideal location for us with a car, to then visit the rest of the south east shore line. Scotland pétanque we’re hosting the Home Nations Pétanque Tournament in Troon. A stones throw away from the beach. Property was clean and comfortable.

We were very impressed with the space and cleanliness of the property and the tatseful decor. The lounge and living area is very spacious and the kitchen facilities were excellent. There was lots of hanging and storage space. The peoperty is close to the beach and town so a big bonus. We felt quite at home and were overall very comfortable.

I hadn't realised that the appartment is on the second floor so two flights of stairs to walk up. My husband battles with his legs so I was a little worried when we got there. We managed though and would still go back there inspite of the stairs.
