Wonderful stay! Views from everywhere great!

Property overlooks the ocean with lovely views, though the view would be better if some of the trees were trimmed. Yard was nicely landscaped. With upstairs and downstairs it was very private for 2 couples. Nicely decorated. Had every thing we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Our only complaint was guests are expected to wash, dry and fold all the sheets and towels.

We absolutely love this house and everything about it. Super clean. Amazing views. Two minute walk to the private beach. Perfect in every way. Maureen was so helpful and responsive. We didn’t want to leave!!

We spent 2 weeks at this wonderful home, the first week with my daughter and two teenage grandsons, and the next with just my husband and dog. The house is well equipped with even an Instapot and griddle in the kitchen! Although there is a private beach, we didn't end up using it because we didn't realize there are about 30 stairs you must use to access, and my 75 year old husband has bad knees. We did enjoy having a picnic table and fire pit so we could sit out and enjoy the view. Maureen was very accommodating & put up a privacy curtain to the bedroom since the doors are broken and we had teenagers in the house. I wouldn't advise using the sofabed in the downstairs, as the mattress is very poor. We ended up putting up an inflatable mattress instead. There is a sofabed upstairs that is in better shape though. This house is in a quiet neighborhood but close to a grocery store, CVS and minutes from the bridge to the cape. I would highly recommend staying here, and very much hope that we can return for another relaxing stay.

Myself and my two pets Smokey and Bandit stayed here. It was such a beautiful, quiet, relaxing week. Maureen was so pleasant and very quick to respond to any ?'s. I really look forward to staying again in the future!

This location was great. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to Cape Cod and Plymouth. There is no door on the upstairs bedroom but that was not really an issue. Very clean and Maureen was a great host! Sitting outside listening to the waves was a bonus.

Such a cute little house! Clean and cozy and there was plenty of room for the six of us. Beautiful view of the bay and we enjoyed having the beach to ourselves. Maureen was very helpful, from providing a list of things to do in the area to answering our questions promptly. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This was our 2nd time staying here. Just as wonderful, peaceful and relaxing as the first time. Watching the sunrise over the ocean in the mornings never gets old. So amazing! It's so hard to leave, as my teenage boys said " I wish we could just buy this place and stay here". Thanks again Maureen!

I'll start by saying that this house was an absolute gem! For the price and the location/view, we'll definitely be back as soon as we can. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed (well-stocked kitchen, towels, bedding) and the host was exceptionally helpful, kind and responsive. As others have mentioned, you do need to wash, dry and return to their place all sheets, towels and dishes. Allow time for that or bring your own, if you're able, which is what we did. There were a couple of areas that we were not prepared for and will know better for future visits. There is some fencing but no enclosed space for dogs. We were appreciative that the host was so accepting of our 2 large dogs, but we didn't expect the 100 ft drop-off to be so accessible to them. It's a great yard if you have dogs that stay glued to your side or are content to be on a leash or tie out. Ours are not and tend to head in opposite directions towards whatever catches their attentions, so it was a little nerve-wracking for us. We also didn't get to use the beach with our dogs much. There are open wooden steps that they were terrified to come back up. We would have been better off driving down the road and using the other access point that does not have steps. The only other issue was the climate control in the house. The fireplace was a nice little surprise, but it keeps the heat from coming on in the downstairs area, which gets VERY cold, especially at night. Bring warm sleeping clothes!

Location of the property is amazing- directly on Cape Cod Bay. Positioned perfectly on the bluff with lovely views of the Bay and canal entrance. Close enough to the water to hear the waves. Home itself is tasteful and very clean. Everything that one wants and nothing they don't. Kitchen was very nice, pretty countertop, stainless steel appliances, nice dishes and very clean. Floors were perfect and easy to clean and sanitize for pets. Easy walk to beach access and the ability to walk miles along the beach, regardless of the tide. Very close to conveniences, such as veterinary, grocery store and drug store. Property has a nice yard if one chooses to use it. Very quiet location. So peaceful. Owner was wonderful, very nice, responsive and considerate. Overall stay was an excellent experience.

The pictures aren't overly accurate. The ceiling in the second bedroom was very low, and the downstairs bedroom had very little climate control. Furniture in house was not what was shown in pictures. Table was very unstable, and chairs at table were very poorly constructed. No door on upstairs bedroom. House is apparently up for sale, and it felt like furniture and curtains were cheap and just there to show the house to buyers. Christmas tree still up in mid March. Overall satisfied, but still feel like it was overpriced for the condition and misrepresented photos.

We had such a relaxing stay! This home is located in a lovely neighborhood with close and easy access to the beach. The house suited our needs perfectly. The gas fireplace was great on a cold rainy day. Sunrises can be enjoyed from the first floor bedroom or the living room. We did not make use of the finished downstairs as the upstairs was all we needed. The house was very clean and adequately stocked. Will definitely return!

Everything was easy to use. Very nice host. Recommend Highly . REASONABLY PRICED. WE WILL GO BACK IF AVAILABLE.

Such a little treasure. We loved that there was a downstairs bedroom that had a large bed plus a pullout couch in the same room which was nice and dark so our little ones were actually able to sleep in. There's also at least 1 more nice bed on the main level. There's a small seating area in the basement that was cozy for reading, watching movies. Kitchen was nicely stocked so we could cook all our meals. Our only issue with the trip was that we had lots of plans of things to do while we were staying there but all our kids wanted to do was play at the gorgeous beach that was a quiet, and a very, very short walk from the house ;) We got lucky with some unseasonably warm weather in winter and spent the majority of each day at this lovely, secluded little beach. It really is a special place to stay. It's also super convenient location to a fish market, good pizza place, grocery store, pharmacy, etc. Easy to get over to cape, into downtown Plymouth. This wonderful cottage sits on a bluff overlooking Cape Cod Bay. The sunrises are magnificent - you can see them from the master bedroom - which is one nice way to wake up, I have to say. The house itself is impeccably clean and most comfortable. The accommodations are great for a couple or a family as there is another bedroom suite in the basement buildout which is very nice. Upstairs (where we were - just two of us) is wonderfully roomy, including a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a gas fireplace (we needed that in December!) a full bath, as well as an extremely comfortable master bedroom. Very quiet setting but convenient to amenities (a mile and a half down the street.) I am almost reluctant to say how good it is for fear of competition for our return - we really hope to go back soon! Thanks, Maureen -

We booked our stay for over the thanksgiving holiday. The house is right on the ocean with a beautiful private beach below, accessible by a short walk to a large stair case or a little bit of a longer walk down the road in the opposite direction. Our goal booking this home was to be able to be walk on the beach daily, and just get lots of rejuvenating ocean/beach time and we did ! We didn’t use the downstairs much at all, mainly stuck to the upstairs where there is a pullout couch and a queen bed. But there was another queen bed and pullout couch and rv area downstairs so perfect for larger families or families with older kids. The owners have had to remove the doors separating that upstairs queen bedroom from the living room / dining room , so our plans to place the kids (18 months and 6 yo) in there for sleeping earlier than us wasn’t perfect (since they could still hear everything) but we made it work! And it sounds like they have plans to replace / repair at some point. There’s a fire pit outside facing the ocean which we used both some mornings to watch the sun rise and evenings with a glass of wine, it was a great extra!! The kitchen has everything you would need to cook / prep meals with. The only thing I’ll add to be aware of is you must wash all linens / towels Before you leave or bring your own to use. We were traveling by plane so the latter not an option, so we just had to get up early to make sure everything was washed and dried appropriately. The dryer needed a few times for some things so it was an all morning process for us (I fathom laundry lol so it was kind of a pain for me personally but others it’s probably less of a big deal!) If there was an option to pay extra for this service by their cleaning service I would definitely have done so ;) owner was super responsive and I very much appreciated that , if we had questions! All in all we had a fabulous time and plan to book this home again when we are back out seeing family. Missing the beach walks and views from the home aLready!!!

My best friend & I had the perfect get away at Maureen's beautiful rental. It's in a peaceful neighborhood with majestic views of the ocean. The fireplace added a lovely ambiance and kept us toasty warm. We had everything we needed and the communication with Maureen was top notch! She is a sweetheart!

We truly enjoyed our time at this lovely cottage on the water. The views of Cape Cod Bay and the starry night skies made for the perfect off-season getaway. The property was as described, and the kitchen was well stocked, allowing us to make meals when needed. Large screen TV's throughout the house kept us entertained when the weather kept us indoors, and the gas fireplace kept us cozy and warm. Communication with Maureen was timely and pleasant when needed, and her responsiveness to a small issue was greatly appreciated and completely resolved. We plan on visiting again when we get the chance.

The house sufficed our needs. The bedroom with the water view doesn’t have a door to the common spaces. The larger queen is down a flight of steep unfinished steps. We had an event early on Sunday & still had to wash the sheets & towels. If I had known that, we would have selected somewhere different. Getting in on night 1, there weren’t any lights left on & 2 of the 3 methods of entrance were not available. It was frustrating and dark while coming in at night with kids. Overall gorgeous location, but did not suit our needs or family.

The house is very beautiful and comfortable. The house is very clean and has everything we needed. There is also privacy because there is a bedroom and a bathroom and a living room on the lower level along with a bedroom and a bathroom a living room and the kitchen on the upper level. The neighborhood and the view of the water is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay it was very relaxing and peaceful. I wish we had stayed longer.

Cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. Well stocked with everything you need plus some! Love making s’mores out by the fire and the grill was great. The view is amazing, quiet area.. We will be back!

As others have mentioned before, this is a Gem of a Home and Location! I enjoyed October at its Best but anytime would be relaxing and peaceful! If you are looking to rest and relax, this is the Home for You! From the moment you enter the quiet neighborhood, it is Very Nice and then when you see the Home and the Location, it is Wonderful! That Terrific View whether inside the Home or Outside is Amazing! The Owner has kept everything Clean and Simple with excellent amenities! But the Wonderful Simplicity of the Home keeps you focused on the great location! If you have any questions or issues, the Owner is very Responsive and Helpful! The Only Down Side is having to leave this Most Comfortable Home and the Great Location!! Thank You for allowing us to enjoy Your Wonderful Spot!

A true piece of heaven on earth. Even though I had to work everyday we were here, I had a smile on my face every night when I drove into the drive and looked out and saw the ocean. A true piece of heaven on earth. Thank you Maureen

We so enjoyed watching the sunrise and listening to the waves. The beach was great for adults, kids and dogs.

We had a lovely stay. Quiet location just a short drive to stores and restaurants. Beautiful view during the day and crickets at night while you sit around the fireplace in the backyard. We can’t wait to book again.

Incredible location and view. Has everything you need for a perfect vacation. The beach is perfect and the sunsets beautiful. Maureen is the perfect host. She is available whenever needed and wonderful to communicate with. For the last 8 years we have rented in the area for 6 weeks in the summer and can say that this property is our first choice from now on.

All the years that I have been staying at this beautiful rental, this year I had the honor of watching a couple get married right below me on the beach. My dear friend and I had a fabulous girls getaway with perfect weather and this rental owner Maureen never disappoints. ♥️🧜🏼‍♀️🌊♥️

Enjoyable stay.

I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with this rental! The location was perfect with a view of Cape Cod Bay and a 3-4 minute walk to a very private beach. Most days, there were either no others or very few others on the beach. The home was very clean, fully stocked with all the things you usually have to provide yourself (paper products, soap, cleaning products) and you had the option of using their linens and towels or using your own. We chose to use our own so we wouldn't have to bother with laundry on our last day. The home is pretty large for only being a two bedroom, and it has two full baths, which I was pleasantly surprised to learn. Even before I had ever booked the rental, I found the owner, Maureen, very willing to respond to my many questions about the property, and she then provided me with many lists and suggestions for things to do in the area, etc. The only thing that could have made this stay any better would have been a fully unobstructed view of the bay...something that could easily be accomplished with a pole saw to clip some of the branches that have become overgrown. I plan to book again next year as soon as the calendar opens up!
