This apartment it’s huge and beautiful. So many rooms with two kitchens and two bathrooms. Perfect location. All the doors can be open from our phone without any key, that’s was cool.

The apartment was in an old building, beautiful super high ceilings, lots of balconies and huge windows with plenty of light. The antique floors and the décor of the apartment was exceptional. The location was great, very central. We very much enjoyed our stay. The host was excellent and he made himself available to help us with anything we needed. I recommend it.

The only small criticism is that it could get a little noisy in the evening. The building is on the corner with a busy road on one side and lots of bars and restaurants on the other side, so it can get a bit noisy in the evening but by midnight it was pretty quiet so it was not an issue at all.

In the heart of the city, a huge apartment. There are parking places in the nearby but some periods are full. The host was very helpful. I can recommend.

Loris place is really cool. It s located close to the center of Catania, it has really huge rooms and all the facilities you need. After you make the reservation you will receive a code on a site (vickey). It really facilitates the checkin/checkout and you do not have to carry the keys all the time with you. If you travel by car you will easily find parking spots (tips: blue ones - paid and you can use them as tourists; white ones- not payed and you can use them as tourits; yellow ones- not for tourists). There are plenty of blue ones around the appartament and it costs about 6 euros per day. You will find good restaurants nearby and Loris (the host) will also give you some good tips. You have 6 balconies (one is an interior one) to enjoy the views around you. Catania is not the cleanest city you will see in Sicily but it has its own beauty. Also the light at dawn and early in the morning is spectacular. We spent our Christmas there and so it was a little colder in Sicily (about 10 degrees outside at night). We used the AC to warm up the rooms and it was perfect. Enjoy your stay there! (i think it s especially good for families with kids).

There are lots of good parts about Loris apartment but also 2 bad things: comparing to the size of the rooms, the bathrooms are quite small (but clean and with everything you needs) and the appartmanet is located on top of a fast food/bar and it can get noisy at night (the bar opens at 19-20 and closes early in the morning 3-4). In some nights there were groups of teenagers there laughing and talking and persons at the bar made noise when cleaning up (at 4 am). After the first night we used earplugs and everything was okey. So if you are a light sleeper- bring a pair. It may not always be noisy but you have to keep that in mind.

The rooms were huge, I mean really huge! The host was fantastic, was more than happy to let us check-in early and check-out late. Provided us with regular updates on the situation in Catania (a typhoon caused flooding etc). Gave us a detailed guide to restaurants, tourist information, parking etc. Very very responsive host!

Unfortunately we stayed in the apartment on the weekend and there is a small but popular restaurant outside the entrance. It was very noisy till the wee hours of the morning, despite closing the shutters and the double glazed doors that noise was very disturbing and we had a tough time falling a sleep. This was a phenomenon only on Fri and Sat the 2 nights we stayed at this location.

Great value for money! Enormous apartment, confortable, good area. Walking distance from tha majority of points of interest. If you are a group of friends, willing to party, this is the place!

If you want to rest, the area is not the quietest :) there is a pub right under the window and at night, it's loud. Really loud 😁

Perfect location- close to rail and bus station.Bust to airport us just 5 min from property.Huge room- high ceiling, with huge windows and balcony.Good communication with the host-we receive a lot info about around restaurant and cafes.

A lot of guests will say it is noises from the street, but We like that it is Italy noise street centre is entirely normal. Our minus of the property will be a front door- wasn't open easily... If you have a few drinks could be a problem to enter the property...parently that problem is ongoing from July..... It will be great to have washing liquid in the kitchen and tea towels.

Very nice old building located in the city center made walking thru the city easy. Clean and nice. Loved the view on Teatro Massimo and look and feel of apartment! Nice host, very helpful host.

Everything was perfect! The owners were pleasant and very helpful. Location is great! Inside the apartment you have everything you need. We won’t to come back next time!
