The condo 5* just as described excellent service from host and very clean. The property 1* When arrived from airport 30 min before check-in would not allow us on property, had to wait outside the gate in heat and sun. Rules strictly followed 8 a.m to 8 p.m use only but on superbowl day cut us of at 5p.m could not watch superbowl game in lounge! property did not enforce no saving loungers rule therefore by 8a.m all were taken.

This property is very dated and could use a major sprucing up. The condo is in an all inclusive resort that caters to young families and as such the pool area and entire resort is filled with screaming kids. The pictures for this rental property lead you to believe that you are in a quiet place, don’t be misled. On top of screaming kids we had to contend with an outdoor wedding reception that was literally right off our deck and played music till just before midnight. On most evenings and nights there was loud music outside along with a lot of pedestrian traffic just outside of our deck sliders. The condo is on level 1 of the building which is the 3 floor because of the lobby and mezzanine floors under us. Thank god we were not higher up in the building cause of the 3 elevators, the center one did not work the entire 3 weeks we were there and on several days one or the other elevator was not functioning as well so we used the stairs a lot to avoid waiting. I’ve read other reviews of this place and the owner was irritated that one of the reviews was criticizing the resort and was not actually reviewing the VRBO condo that had been rented. She wanted to know what they thought of her condo. Sorry lady but even if your condo had been the nicest I had ever seen ( and it isn’t , it’s an old girl that needs major revamping) the rest of the resort just contributes to an already unpleasant stay!! Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else.

We stayed 2 weeks and the condo was very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen sitting area was nice. Marco was very responsive to our requests. Shopping and restaurants were all in walking distance. This is a very dated resort so not fancy but it was clean. There were a lot of families with children there and so the pool area was busy and loud music all the time. We are seniors so we like something a bit quieter but it was quiet in the room. We recommend the Food Park across the road and about a block away for meals when you don’t want to cook. There is a 2 burner hot plate and pans for cooking, also a microwave and a full size fridge. I was disappointed that we only had cleaning once in the 2 weeks we were there. We ran out of toilet paper and my husband managed to grab a roll from one of the cleaning people at another room. We would stay here again and recommend it for a nice holiday.

The condo was perfect, very clean and the communication was great. We loved the location, and we almost went every night to the food park across the street to have dinner and get some drinks. The only thing we did not really liked was the smell on the pool, once you get close to the water the pool smelled like pee, so we opted not to get in and instead go to the beach, but we understand this is nothing to do with the condo. Also staff very nice. Definitely a great condo to stay with the family.

This condo was perfect for our family. It has a great view of the beach and amenities. It is close to so many attractions. We loved the location! Going in and out of the resort was a little bit of a hassle, but we all appreciated the security keeping us safe. The place is a little older, but it had everything we needed, including cold AC and a beautiful patio to hang out outside. Only issues we had were minor, like the elevators were sometimes too full and we had to take the stairs, but it was only 2 flights of stairs and the condos were being renovated, so we had to walk around the work area. Any problems we had were so minor. Everything was very relaxing! Miriam was a great host. Thanks so much for letting us stay here! We had a blast. :)

The property is great. Unfortunately we were not aware that once u put the braclet on your screwed. We were under impression we would enjoy the lounges swim up bar restaurants . Not possible resort takes no credit cards no cash . They do have a food cart only opened noon to 5 there for we had to leave property for breakfast lunch and dinner. Won't go back staff at resort treated us like we ugly step sister.

The unit is very nice, clean well located and has everything you will need. We would definitely stay here again.
The only drawback to the trip was Sunscape. They will give you zero options to purchase anything short of their daily all inclusive package.
Be prepared to walk for anything needed, morning coffee, ice, meals etc. I understand they are a all inclusive deal but since there are ownership properties on the premise it would be nice if they had a few options to purchase necessities on the property.

We had a wonderful stay at this unit. It was exactly as described. We had a wonderful view of the bay. Communication with the owner was excellent. The location is close to buses, restaurants and stores. Because the condo is attached to an all-inclusive resort, the evenings can get a little noisy, but the noise usually stops at around 11. I would certainly consider returning in the future.

Condo was nice. Hotel has activities & shows-so can be active at pool or go to beach and be calm. Close enough to walk to stores or restaurants. Inexpensive taxi to town.

Property was the Holiday Inn. Now One Tower was sold to private owners and other Tower was sold to Sunscape. The two locations were managed differently. The Sunscape did not acknowledge private owners and there was conflict. They tagged us making sure we had strict rules. They gave us towel cards, we had to return towels before 5. We missed the time and were taking them to room, which was not allowed, security took them away and did not give us cards. If not returned. they were going to charge us $150 each towel. We bought 1 day all inclusive pass and had bottle of water left over and took it to our room. Next day returning to our room with some of that water. Security ripped it out of our hand and said we were stealing. The food was not good at the all inclusive. Check out was at 11 AM. Our daughter had a flight out at 6 PM, they would not hold her luggage past 12 and could not stay at the resort. As far as the suite goes not happy, it says can occupy 5 people, we were 3, we had1 hand towel, 1 face cloth, 3 towels. 2 wine glasses, the protected coating on pots was scraped off, releasing toxic compounds, poured a bottle of tequila and juice to make margaritas in blender, everything leaked out the bottom, before this I went to Sunscape for ice, they would not give me any but would charge me $2.50. Toilet seat not secured, had to hold flush lever down to finish flush. AC runs continuous, auto, low or high, room was at 27 degrees when we entered. There was no hot water in kitchen sink, after 4 days I checked under the sink, hot water was shut off. Basic needs, dish soap, ice tray not here. Did not like bottom floor, 17 floors above were throwing butts and debris that landed on our patio. The safe made so much noise, we were scared to put money in in case it would not open. We were told Marco the administrator would come by, he did not show. Miriam gave me emails to contact her or Marco for problems, I sent her 5 emails, on hot mail, & g mail. Not a word or call from anyone. I would not recommend this place.

Very enjoyable stay
Miriam was responsive to all of our issues. The property was in very good condition. Certainly, there are things with the Sunscape that we would have liked that just were not available there - heated pool, jacuzzi, on-site washer and dryer. But that's just the way the resort is. The weather is always warm, so you get used to water quickly. There are pay washers nearby at the Villa Del Palmar. Yeah, the jacuzzi would have been nice - oh well. But the daily activities were fun, and there were good activities in the evening as well. We understand that not every condo owner necessarily pays a heavy fee to allow their guests to use the facilities, and we were extremely happy that Miriam did pay these fees. We were perfectly happy to be on the first floor, and we had a good view of the ocean. Room cleaning is once a week, and although we typically have it more often on vacation, it worked out fine. The only thing we did was wash the hand towel mid-week since we only got one. We also got only one wash cloth - we would have liked more, but we brought our own, so it was not a problem for us. About the only other things that would have been nice in the unit would have been a grocery cart and some reusable grocery bags. But the beds were comfortable, and we loved the location in the hotel zone. Cooking facilities were fine for breakfast and lunch, which we ate most days in the unit. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, nicely decorated with everything you need to have a great time. Easy access to the pool and beach area with towels and lounge chairs. The pool is just a few steps down. The most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. I enjoyed a beach front restaurant that is just next to the river, to the right of the resort. Across the street, there is a Food Park that has a nice variety of great food at a good price. The closest grocery store is about a block away, and very convenient. 10 minutes by taxi or uber to the Malecon, and about 5 minutes to the Marina.
I will for sure be back to this beautiful home.

Very clean, nicely decorated with everything you need to have a great time. Easy access to the pool and beach area with towels and lounge chairs. The pool is just a few steps down. The most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. I enjoyed a beach front restaurant that is just next to the river, to the right of the resort. Across the street, there is a Food Park that has a nice variety of great food at a good price. The closest grocery store is about a block away, and very convenient. 10 minutes by taxi or uber to the Malecon, and about 5 minutes to the Marina.

We arrived at this property and immediately felt uneasy because of the way the property looked. We finally got to our room and it wasn’t clean as they said it was. Crinkled beds dust bunnies on the floor a sliding door that didn’t properly lock. We looked at each other and said I guess we have to make the best of it because we have paid and we have to stay somewhere for a week. As I was getting change into a swimming suit the last xterior door swung opened and a lady entered the room. She had the code to our place. She said can I show this place to someone who wants to rent this later.. I was not happy, didn’t feel safe knowing someone had the code to the room. The safe did not work, so no place for cash or passports. The pictures of this property were taken many years ago , maybe even when it was first occupied. The pool area was so small, it was so crowded, everyone had their drinks in hand , in the pool with them. If you want a good relaxing vacation , Stay Away. We spent the next hour trying to find a place to stay, we did and made the last week of our vacation great, a little costly though.

Roomy & Comfortable
This was our first stay at a condo/all inclusive resort all at the same property. It took a little getting used to the two tier system but once we did we enjoyed our stay. The condo has lots of room which we appreciated as we stayed 3 weeks. The beds & furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped to cook simple meals. Keep in mind that you have a 2 burner stove and no oven, exactly as represented by the owner. We did have a problem with the safe access and this was remedied immediately by the owner - thanks Marcos and Miriam for such a quick response. Great for beach walks. A large store to buy groceries is a 5 to 10 minute walk. If you go to the pool area by 8 you can get a lounge chair. I liked the fact that you can't put items on lounge chairs more than 1 hour to reserve them. This stops the very early morning rush to get loungers. The check in process was easy. The only tricky thing is drinking water. The literature in the condo says that you can arrange drinking water through the bell men but when we enquirer at the desk we were told that this service was not available. You are able to buy water at the off site grocery store but it is heavy to carry if you are walking. You can get around this by purchasing a lot of water on your first trip for groceries and the taking a taxi ( they are cheap) back to the condo. The bell men will help you with a cart to get your water/ groceries to your room. We found that we went through about 6 litres per day. You are able to go to the evening shows at the resort which is an added bonus over regular condos. Most are your typical resort shows but we were impressed by the magic show - one of the best resort shows we have been to. If you are looking for an economical beach front condo this is a good choice.

Beachfront Puerto Vallarta Condo
My family stayed in this condo close to the airport New Year's week Communication with Miriam is excellent. We arrived before the check in time and we were able to get an early check (by shortly after 2 pm.) We appreciated the beer that was put in the fridge for our arrival. When you are a condo guest, you must wear a wristband. Just know that many staff will identify you easily and ask about attending a meeting to receive a day's all inclusive stay. My family went for a good breakfast buffet over at the NOW resort which was less than 10 minutes away from this resort. Two of my family were taxied back to the condo resort and my husband and I sat through a meeting (which we have done a few times before) and got a voucher for the all inclusive for 4 people which we used on January 1st. Large american dollars are required to purchase a membership in the higher end Secrets resort of which we did not purchase. The drinks at the condo resort were good but the food at this resort was not that great. The cost to purchase all inclusive has been bumped up to $60 US per person. In terms of Miriam's condo, we had enough space for the four of us. We were happy with the large bathroom sink that was outside the toilet/shower area. There was no fan in the bathroom. The queen beds were comfortable and there are both air conditioning and fans in the rooms. My son used the sofa bed which could use a foam topper. Overall the condo was comfortable but could use more cleaning and a bit of updating. The patio view was really nice. Just know that resort people and staff are very visible. My kids also used the gym once but on New Year's day they took away this use for people in the condos. Also they were implementing an access card into the resort area and gave us only one card for four people. Miriam said the condo board was grieving access to the gym and trying to get more than one access card so ask her if this was figured out. We did not cook in the condo but ate out in Old town (10 pesos - bus, 85 pesos - Malecon or 130 peso cab ride - Blue shrimp-excellent & pricey) and the Marina (85 peso cab ride) We walked to La Dolce for supper twice and had supper in La Isla (Carlos & Charlies) In the marina we had breakfast over the water at La Terrazza di Roma. In old town we enjoyed Cafe de Olla. We should have planned for a taxi shopping to the Soriana the first day. Its a 15 minute walk which is hard with groceries. Beach access is nice as well.

Great condo/Mediocre resort
Very attractive well-equipped condo with beautiful ocean view but didn’t feel as welcome in the resort as we were not allowed to buy meals or even a coffee there due to all inclusive restrictions. But we had been forewarned of that. Beautiful weather whole time as always in PV. Oasis restaurant 5 min up the beach had great food with sunset view. Good grocery store nearby and cheap busses out front.

LARGE, comfortable condo with the best location and steps from the beach!
What can I say about this beautiful beachfront property other than it made my bachelor trip wonderful! When you walk in, you have the bathroom to the left, with a toilet and shower enclosed for maximum privacy and the sink outside of the enclosed bathroom for maximum versatility. Really helps with getting ready while someone else showers. You also have a safe and closet for your personal belongings. You then walk into a room the size of your typical hotel room with 2 of the most comfortable, clean queen beds I’ve slept on, a TV, dressers and everything you can ever need. Finally, you walk into an open concept living area and kitchen, with all the silverware and dishware necessary, two large comfortable couches (one pull out for two), and a great stereo system. You can walk right onto the outside terrace and onto the rest of the resort gym, pool, and beach from your living room through sliding patio doors. All this space, comfort, privacy, and convenience combined with Miriam’s unparallaled hospitality, for less than a hotel room at the Sunscape! Unbeatable location next to La Isla Shopping Center, across great nighlife at La Santa and Distrito 5, great restaurants such as La Vaca Argentina, and a $2.50 ($50 MXN peso) Uber to the Malecon, the location is unbeatable.
Pro tip #1: Check in with the front desk upon arrival for a hassle free experience! I didn’t read Miriam’s email and went directly to the condo. They’ll put a bracelet on you and provide you with poolside towels and great service.
Pro tip #2: Take advantage of the normally $80 but only $55 USD ($1000 MXN peso) for guests all inclusive pass if you plan on spending the day at Sunscape resort. It’s well worth the money for all you can eat and drink!
Overall, wonderful stay, highly recommend Miriam’s condo at the gated Sunscape resport!

My vacation at Vista Del Mar -Condo. The experience was out of this world!!! This condo is ""INSIDE OF A RESORT!!""" Can you believe that !!!!! My family and I have a full access to the resort, 3 different pools, the resort presents every night a different show, etc etc..... you do not have to leave the resort to have fun. Let me tell you, it is breath taking, elegant, the security was top of the line, the resort is gated, that is just to start. Beautiful beachfront condo with all the amenities
Great location, great beds, beautiful beaches, lots of shopping and everything in between. Wonderful experience. 10/10 would recommend and will go again. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating and the local people are very kind.

Apartment has everything necessary. Great location, just a heads upthat if you don’t get the all inclusive the hotel offers you won’t be able to buy anything from the reataurants, bar, beach or anywhere. There are big stores where you can buy your food and cook in the apartment but you can’t take anything to the beach or buy. The owner and administrator are very responsive and helpful.

Awesome location and beautiful home!
Miriam’s condo was just like the pictures. The location was awesome and the resort, while older, was still gorgeous and had gorgeous views. The only thing was that even though there was wifi, it was not good. It was better to be off the wifi than on it because of the poor quality of it, but when you’re in Mexico you don’t need much internet! Just enjoy the beautiful city and condo! I would definitely stay again and recommend her home!

Need to remind previous occupant to leave the safe open. VRBO is hopeless as are the people who work the front desk at Sunscape. Otherwise, your unit is very nice and the setting is something I would like to have right now.

Superb
The place is just a bit of heaven, the location is close to the town and Malecon the space is huge and well equipped for a very pleasant stay. I will definitely be back. Thank you Miriam for allowing me to enjoy a little bit of your paradise.
A part from the comfortable beds, the kitchen and fridge will come in handy on those beach days and the pool is accessible, there are retail and restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel is not part of the amenities but you can purchase an all inclusive.

Beautiful condo
Loved your condo.
Your place was clean, bright, breezy and a nice ocean view.
The beds were extremely comfortable. We appreciated the WIFI and more so, the keyless entry door lock. It has easy access to food stores to stock up and public buses to the Malecon for dinner.
We will definitely recommend your unit to our friends.
