Wauw. Wonderful spot at the beach. Beautiful swimming pool and syper fun aqua park. Bungalows are spacious and gardens are very nice. Breakfast buffet is amazing. Lunch and diner is affordable.

Water at the aqua park has a lot of chloride, Beds are big, but a little hard.

Location is amazing and access to the water park just across the road.

food poisoning from the barbecue, this has happened to me only two times in all my travels to Thailand. Both times on an island. been here 10 days up until this point my Thai partner also was affected. I ate 1 prawn off her plate, which she said they are old when eating them. I ate most of my fish she ate some. definitely the barbecue day three and still visiting toilet 5 times a day with extreme cramps. not what you would expect from a resort that charges top dollar. change your supplier or please look at your food handling. mention this to reception upon leaving who did not offer to refund us the meal just apologised.

Sea was not nice as showed in the picture. water was not clean and trasparent. Web site was missleading on this and create wrong expectation. Pool was small and not really clean besides As a whole was difficult to swim and this create a frustration

Worst experience of my life while travelling, real threat to my family safety and humiliation of human dignity. Wish they get banned for life from aggregators like Booking.com. Here is what happened to us: My wife went to do the check-out. As she got the bill, she saw that 300 baht was added to our bill for "property damage". When she asked what it was, the customer relationship manager named Alex showed her a printed photo of her menstrual secretions on a sheet. The same photos were on his and the hotel reception staff's phones. She couldn't understand why she had to pay for such a natural process as washing the sheet, to what Alex replied, "Ah if you don't want to pay 300 baht, then the cost will be 2000 baht". Next, Alex started bragging with the police. My spouse offered to call the General Manager, but Alex refused to do so. . She did not respond to the extortion and insisted on the police. When the police arrived, he brought a sheet with my spouse's menstrual secretions to the reception area and put it right in front of the main entrance (photo attached). The police, who arrived, refused to deal with the case, saying that it was not their responsibility and they did not understand why they had been called. Than Alex called someone else and two other police officers arrived in a fancy police car. At this point I came to the lobby, while my wife returned to take care of our kids. The officer came up to me, and said: "Why don't you pay?" I responded that it was an egregious situation, absolute disrespect to the hotel guests, extortion and menstrual shame. The policeman agreed about the disrespect, but as they were clearly familiar with the hotel management and namely Mr Yung who joined Alex, he advised me to pay, so as not to have "unnecessary problems" Travel aggregators and every guest should understand that this hotel has an organised scheme to extort money from guests.

Management and attitude towards guests. This is not just disrespect, this is humiliation.

Transport from local Airport Trat to Resort

This resort has the best beach front on he island, Clean and filled with palm trees. The enviroment which surrunds the hotel is magnificent and well taken care of. Like being in paradise. Rooms ara okey but need a bit of renovation since it must be over 20 years old. The stuff is fantastic, smiling and helpfull. The massage on the beach is one of the best thing you can have. The breakfast is pleanty and high quality you can choos from minimum 30 type of foods. I highly reccomend it!

The room could be a bit more modern, but is not a deal breaker at all.

The beach is beautiful, the hotel is by far the most beautiful, the best.

There were no mosquito nets on the bungalows. And there were a lot of mosquitoes. Unfortunately, there were rats in the hotel area and they were making noise in the attic and on the roof at night. But the most important thing: no one at the hotel told me to watch out for the sand fly. We have hundreds of bites that itch and keep getting bigger for days. The hotel could draw attention to this! And the breakfast: so boring.

we had a nice, quiet superior bungalow, with a newly renovated large bathroom. The beach is great, as is the pool area, although the water is a bit cold. In the evenings there was a good band (didn't play too loud) and a fire show. The restaurant had good food. We had a great time.

If anything, the pastries at breakfast weren't very good.. the bed was hard, but you could get an extra mattress if you asked.

We stayed here for the water park! The room was very clean and even located in a garden the clean lady did a great job at preventing the ants in the room. The sunsetting view was very beautiful from their beach.

Be aware of mosquitoes in the room. A repellent will be helpful. It took us some time to lock the room. Once this small issue is fixed, there’s nothing to complain.

the service in this hotel is very bad! lunch was not picked up and stayed over night at the terrace, even after we call to ask to pick it up no one came. we actually wanted to stay longer and we’re told the room is available but after 3x requesting the room rate we were told that now the room is already booked and we have to move out.

The room was very comfortable and the view was great. Super nice pool and beach area. The water park is a plus, but some rides were a bit painful for adults. Nice breakfast, with good variety and western options. Amazing location, in one of the best beaches in Koh Chang. The are some restaurants and stores around. It is a wonderful place to rest and relax.

We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and we were a bit disappointed. Small portions, high price and not that flavoured.

Chai Chet Bay is probably the best one in Khlong Prao for swimming in the sea. In other places it can be too shallow. The resort itself is sprawling with neat and roomy bungalows, well kept and very clean. Bathrooms are large as well as the terrace. Breakfast is decent with more Thai options than Western yet there are eggs, vegs, bacon and fruits but poor choice of pastries. Tea and coffee is available free of charge all day long at the breakfast restaurant. In the evening they have nice choice of dishes by the sea and there is also a fireshow (mediocre, but ok). All in all, it is very nice.

Three reasons for me not to return – though I am a frequent visitor to Koh Chang. 1. We chose this resort mainly because of its waterpark for our daughter. The waterpark turned out to be a failure – slides are dangerous, too steep with plastic sews. I seriously hit my shoulder and hip and all of us got bruises. Exercise extreme care while using the slides. 2. The staff allows guests to reserve sunbeds for the whole day even if they do not use them. So in the morning people put their towels on the sunbeds and then leave them till the evening. Due to such behaviour there are not enough sunbeds for all guests though if everyone used them only when they need (spend time by the pool or by the sea it would have been definitely ok). 3. We booked 2 adults with breakfast and 1 kid without breakfast as our daughter needs different food. Yet we were made to pay for the breakfast for her (thb500/day) though she never came for breakfast. These three thing will definitely prevent me from revisiting. There are better price/quality options in Khlong Prao though in Chai Chet Bay this resort is probably the best choice.
