Old Beams Bed & Breakfast

The cottage is lovely, comfortable, warm and cosy. The proprietor was extremely welcoming, and went out of her way to ensure everything was to our liking. We found her local knowledge very helpful when we wanted restaurant recommendations, and when we wanted to use the local bus service to visit Stratford Upon Avon. The village is a 25 minute bus ride from the centre, and the bus is literally a door to door service to the centre. It was great to sit back and enjoy the scenery rather than be concentrating on driving, so I would say it's a very convenient location if you want to enjoy seeing all the sights of Stratford but would also enjoy the contrast of the quieter ambiance of a quaint rural village on the river. The beds are dreamily comfortable, and the facilities exactly what you would expect. And breakfast was perfect! With "help yourself to" delicious fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, and orange juice, along with a wide selection of hot (beautifully cooked to order) breakfast favourites. It's definitely 10 out of 10 for us!

Lovely breakfast really enjoyed it. The room was very nice with a good view saw a squirrel both mornings . The building was delightful with all its beautiful decor and quirky features . The walk in shower was really nice and a good size . Everything was great

A beautiful little place right on the high Street. Charming, full of character with great service from the owner. Clean and tidy with everything you need to hand. The food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
