Online listing stated, kitchen available, maximum up to 5 adults, comfortable living, charged laundry fee and cleaning fee. self-contained flat
What we found was, not a self-contained flat. There was very limited table space, no kitchen appliances except a kettle and microwave. The only available tap was the bathroom sink, hardly any room to fill the kettle, and we also had to wash dishes in it. Towels and cleaning sponges were faded and dirty looking, way past the expiry date.
As kitchen facility was not available as stated in the profile, we incurred extra expenses to eat out everyday. The first evening the host reluctantly agreed to use their kitchen to cook our freshly bought veggies and chicken.
The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, but the flat lacks the basic necessities for a family of 5. The host is a nice man, but he should give accurate information about his unit, so that the guests won't be disappointed and unprepared.

Yes, it was lovely stay. Everything was fine…would be a little better if we have a direct drinking water access in kitchenette area like kitchenette tap & sink.
Host is very cooperative and helpful.

Sufficient space with 1 double, 2 single and 1 sofa beds at a economical price.
Travelling time in exchange for quietness, I suppose.

Had everything we needed, very happy with the overall presentation, the host greeted us and made us feel very welcome and comfortable on the first day, lovely place to stay, highly recommend if you wanted a place to chill out.

There is a permanent big gap in the shower door. Water leaks out of the shower on the main floor. On the first day , the host requested us to shower at the corner of shower area so the water does not drip on the floor. However, I guess it can be easily fixed by a handy man. Basically cannot shower at peace. He should have mentioned in online listing as host already knew about the problem. Found cockroaches at the property. Did not enjoyed the stay at the property.

This place is safely tucked away at the rear of the property. The family are super welcoming and we chat when using their kitchen facilities. The place is clean and well presented. I would recommend a stay here. A big thanks to our hosts!

Thank you to Kedar and his family. My girls and i had a very pleasant stay. The whole unit was comfortable and the venue was close to the places we needed to go to. We were thankful that our hosts provided us with a toaster and jug. I had a chilly bin but maybe for future thought for the host to get a lil fridge. I would recommend this place to others and hope to rebook again in the future as the price was perfect for us as we drove from Wellington.

Great hospitality and warmth.
Kedar and Ella were the most hospitable and kind owners we had the honor to meet in our travels. They made extra efforts to make sure we were safe and well taken of at all times. The spacious apartment was kept clean and tidy with good insulation. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for couples and small families. We would definitely be in contact with them whenever we are in NZ. Thank you.

This place is so beautiful. Such a great area and very neat and tidy. Although we weren’t allowed to make too much noise we would definitely consider staying here again.
