Wonderful place - will definitely try to come back. Sitting on the deck watching the ocean, birds, and seals- mesmerizing. Great location. We had perfect weather. Only negatives - tv is no good unless you stream. Comfort height toilets would be nice - can you tell that we ate old!

The panoramic ocean views kept us mesmerized all week, and the coastal cottage charm was unsurpassed! We had a wonderful time, thanks for attending to so many details to make the stay extra comfortable. And thanks for the delicious marionberry jam! Still enjoying that :-)

My husband and I have been vacationing on the Oregon coast for 25 years and this cottage was perfect in every way and hands down the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The location was perfect and the cottage was a delight—clean, bright and comfortable with so many welcoming touches like snacks in the kitchen, baskets in the bathrooms filled with things you might have forgotten and great books in every room. The beds were heavenly! Katy from the rental agency was wonderful to work with and attentive to our needs! We can’t wait to come back!

And of course the view is spectacular! We hadn’t brought our own bath soap because most places provide it or have the European style dispensers in the showers. We purchased our own. This is a minor inconvenience, though. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We have rented dozens of houses over the years and these owners by far were the best at providing small comforts and different treats for our stay and treating us like family, not just strangers. The location in Yachats is awesome. We stayed for a week and ventured out far on some days, but quickly realized you don't need to go far from the cottage to see the most stunning places along the Oregon Coast. We walked to coffee at The Village Bean and ate dinner in town every night. We ate like kings in Yachats and can't wait to go back. The home is full of many games, movies and books to read and we utilized it all during the rainy days. The fire pit and sunsets in the yard were my favorite. We feel like we found a real gem in this cottage and we can't wait to come back again soon.

This seaside cottage is truly seaside. Absolutely gorgeous view from the living room & kitchen, plus the porch and yard. (As noted in the description, the property itself does not have beach access--but it does have a beautiful view!) Easy checkin, clean property, and the hosts clearly put a lot of thought & effort into making it a comfortable, welcoming stay. One of the bedrooms had a pretty loud heater; we got used to it but if you're a particularly light sleeper it might be good to know ahead of time. All in all, it was charming, and we would definitely come back!

We do feel that some things need updating, however. The wooden deck needs replacing as it is getting worn out. Also the toilets need replacing; they are old and very small and one of the seats was broken. If the place is updated, it will be the perfect place to be!

The picture windows and view of the ocean is completely accurate for this property. The Pacific ocean never disappoints and this property has it. I would like to come back when the weather is a bit warmer - we couldn't sit outside to enjoy it at all as it was bitterly cold and windy. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are accommodating. (the bathroom fan doesn't work in the 2nd bathroom, by the way) The laundry room is handy! The kitchen is well-appointed. Overall, the house is very nice.

Our family of all ages (ranging from a 3yo to a senior citizen) truly enjoyed staying at this gem!! We had a low-key long weekend filled with hikes, beach exploration, outdoor firelight and even a hailstorm! The house was incredibly well appointed and very cozy on the rainy days. We stayed four nights and had the pleasure of watching the waves crash, sun set, the moon glow and the stars shine in this lovely seaside home. It had everything our family needed including toys and books for little ones, extra blankets, ingredients, kitchen items for any meal, plenty of towels etc. There was a feeling of hospitality and generosity as soon as we walked in the door. We will stay longer next time!

Wow! What an amazing place! This cottage was so relaxing and the view is absolutely breathtaking! The owners go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need in case you forgot something at home! We loved the decor and the quaintness of this adorable beach cottage! We were also lucky enough to spot a mother & baby harbour seal, 4 dolphins, and lots of seabirds & pelicans right from the yard. We will definitely be back...Seaside Cottage is now our family's favorite beach vacation spot! Thank you for making our family vacation so memorable!

This sweet beach house felt like home. It’s very comfortable, has all the amenities you’d hope for, is clean and showcases the view! It’s located over the rocky edge of Yachats, and the crashing waves were mesmerizing. We really didn’t need (or want) to go anywhere except for doing some exploring of the tide pools below, which is conveniently accessible. The lawn provides good area for playing lawn games, or sitting out watching the sunset/sunrise. The covered side deck is great for inclement weather protection. But the best feature of the house (which is saying a lot), is it’s well thought out comfortable furnishings, and beautiful decor. Hygge meets Cape Cod beach house. Beautiful!
