Charming Lakeside Cottage with lakefront deck
Fuga verso le montagne !!! Affascinante, accogliente, cottage, in affitto su un lago privato incontaminato di 2 miglia di lunghezza e 1/2 di miglio situato ai piedi dei Monti Catskill nella valle del fiume Delaware.
Il noleggio include 4 letti e un divano. Frigorifero full size, stoviglie e utensili e griglia per barbecue. Uso anche di barca a remi, gazebo sul lago e grill. Nuoto, pesca e canottaggio, tutto a tua disposizione.
Il supermercato è di 10 minuti. Forestburgh Playhouse, Resort Catskills Casino, Delaware River, Kadampa Meditation Retreat buddista, Bethel Woods ... il tutto in 20 minuti. Questo solo dentro! Due nuovissimi 10 piedi. Kayak !!!! Vedi foto Inoltre, nel raro caso in cui entrambe le proprietà sono prenotate per gli stessi giorni, agli ospiti che soggiornano presso questa struttura verrà chiesto di accedere all'area del lago, attraverso l'area del Sundeck che si trova a circa 50 piedi dal Gazebo. Questa zona è attrezzata con sedie a sdraio e comode sedie imbottite. È un posto perfetto per assistere al tramonto occidentale, o semplicemente rilassarsi e abbronzarsi. Il Gazebo e il Sundeck sono separati da fitti alberi e cespugli e garantiscono un'ottima privacy. Se gli ospiti desiderano sapere in anticipo se entrambe le proprietà sono prenotate, possono informarsi in anticipo. Oppure, prenota entrambe le proprietà per un ricongiungimento familiare di una vita!

I can’t say enough about how great everything was. The host and hostess was so accommodating, they treated us like family. We can’t wait to come back. Beautiful scenery, very private and clean.

Chose property for proximity to area my family stayed when I was a little girl in the 70s. Have been feeling nostalgic and wanted to take a trip back in time with modern amenities.We could not have found a better property or host. Steven was there to greet us and share his memories of the area from same time period. Having spent his child and the ensuing years in the area, he has created a lovely compound with 2 guest homes and a warm and welcome vibe.We stayed in 2 bedroom where my sister and her 2 young adult kids joined us for overnight stay. It was very comfortable for the 5 of us and our 2 dogs.The home is very clean and well stocked. The photos are spot on and we enjoyed the peaceful location with close proximity to lake.Steve has a camper set up next to lake area for lighting and accessiblity to cold drinks. There is a lovely swing area to sit and enjoy the view as well as fire pit, lakeside, to enjoy the serenity of the location.We were accommodated with early check in and late check out to give us time to maximize our time and get to visit all the areas we had hopes to see without feeling time pressure which was greatly appreciated.Highly recommend as a peaceful escape that isn’t too far from NYC. We know we’ll be repeat visitors and look forward to making new memories in the area with comfort of a home away from home!

We had a relaxing week staying in this cozy house in the woods. The house is clean and stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed cooking each night (grocery store just 4 miles away), and hanging out on the deck. The property is beautiful and the dogs enjoyed their walks down to the lake, nights by the fire pit, and we even took the rowboat out for a ride. This was the private relaxing retreat that we had hoped for. Thank you Steve for your hospitality!

When we arrived at the property, we were met by Steven with a very warm welcome. Steven walked us around to make sure we understood how to use everything. Very, very clean and comfortable. The cottage has everything you need, including peace and quiet! Wi-Fi worked beautiful plenty of TV channels too, if you so choose. You must go down to the lake, beautiful sunsets just overall very peaceful. There is a nice size Weber grill on the deck, which was very clean that we enjoyed using. There is a food store called Pecks, about a 10 minute ride, very easy to find. Nearby Barryville had two restaurants that we tried, one was Barryville Oasis serving Mexican and B.V.H. servicing a mix of burgers, wings and so on. Shrewd Fox Brewery right around corner from Pecks market, the couple that run it were so nice. Overall, driving around you’ll see a lot of small shops, antique stores all types of restaurants just a real great time. If you have several days, you can get a lot accomplished if you just map everything out and also a lot of the merchants we visited were very helpful regarding other places that you might enjoy which we did. Oh cannot forgot, the various parks/ trails are beautiful. We will be back, so much more to see.
