We really enjoyed staying here! The house is compact, but it has everything you need and is full of Japanese charm. We loved the traditional room, and setting up our futons every evening made the experience feel extra special. The kitchen is small but practical, and the bathroom is very comfortable. The house itself also looks lovely from the outside and really adds to the feeling of staying somewhere traditional in Kyoto. The only thing we missed was a place to sit once our young kids were asleep. A couple of small chairs outside would have been perfect. Overall, it was a lovely and memorable place to stay and we would definitely recommend it!
