Vieni a sperimentare tutto ciò che la Mid-Coast del Maine ha da offrire nella splendida amicizia. Situato in posizione centrale tra Portland e Bar Harbor, Friendship è a pochi minuti da molte delle migliori attrazioni del Maine. Il nostro cottage è direttamente sull'acqua con un molo privato per un facile varo della barca. Porta la tua piccola barca o usa uno dei tre kayak o una canoa inclusi in questo noleggio o, porta la tua barca più grande e lanciarla dall'atterraggio della città, a meno di un miglio dal cottage. Il cottage è ben arredato con tre camere da letto tra cui una camera matrimoniale con un letto matrimoniale e un soppalco con letti gemelli che i vostri bambini adoreranno! C'è anche una camera da letto al piano inferiore con un futon queen size. Il materasso è di altissima qualità per garantire il massimo comfort. Questa camera ha anche il proprio bagno completo per una straordinaria privacy al piano inferiore. Con soffitti alti e un grande ponte il cottage si sente spazioso e arioso anche quando hai una casa piena! Trascorri le tue giornate al cottage leggendo sul ponte mentre ammiri la vista mozzafiato mentre ascolti le scampi mentre pescano. Fai lunghe passeggiate o esplora le isole circostanti in kayak o fai un lungo pisolino mentre ascolti le foche del porto che si chiamano l'un l'altro. In una giornata nebbiosa potresti rannicchiarti davanti al camino con il tuo cane che dorme al tuo fianco. Il legno è fornito! I più avventurosi potrebbero voler trascorrere giornate a golf, shopping, tour dei fari o fare crociere nel porto. Le città turistiche di Rockland, Camden e Damariscotta sono tutte a soli 30-40 minuti di auto. Anche il parco nazionale di Acadia è a sole due ore di auto. Dopo una lunga giornata di visite turistiche, puoi tornare a Friendship per la pace e la serenità.
Nota, l'amicizia è una piccola città con un piccolo negozio generale e solo uno o due negozi. Ma puoi ancora passeggiare per un cono gelato la sera o andare al porto quando arrivano le scampi e comprare l'aragosta fresca quanto arriva! È un piccolo villaggio Maine a metà costa perfetto di cui ti innamorerai.

Perfect get away for a peaceful and restorative reset. So close to nature preserves for hikes, right on the water for kayaking and close to so many places to get fresh and delicious lobster. The property had everything that you could ever need and was decorated perfectly for a cozy vibe. Owner was amazing and easy to communicate with. We will definitely return!!!

Really a lovely place! older camp/cabin... worked well for two of us. but TINY!!! and DARK! photos really made it look both bigger and bright... not the case! generally clean - but under bed/furniture definitely needs vacuuming... cabin also needs updating. Windows could use replacing. Bathroom/shower window sill in the ever-so-small bathroom is black w ingrained mildew... yes. nice water access. and amazing 10ft tides on the beautiful Muscongus Bay... Basement bedroom/futon - is down some steep stairs... although there is an outside door... The attic loft twin bed space - again - careful! steep stairs... and only for kids! and the privacy? neighbors pretty close. hmmm... one neighbor is just across a fence/garden - the other is situated a bit further through some thin woods. but a very nice waterside deck! great sunsets! Overall - give the water/view a 5/5. House/accomodation 3/5. It was nice. Will we book again? No.

What a magical spot on Delano Cove!We felt very lucky to have access to this beloved home in Friendship. And Amy was an amazing communicator throughout. As others have noted, the deck and dock are fabulous, and where we spent most of our time enjoying meals, playing cards, watching eagles and the occasional seal. I did yoga on the dock a couple of mornings and that was so peaceful.This was probably the cleanest summer cottage rental we have ever experienced!!! and the most well-stocked. *Note that you do need to bring your own linens and towels, but the owners thoughtfully provide ample pillows, blankets, cloth dish towels, dish soap, paper towels and toilet paper, which is unusual for Maine summer rentals.There is not much workspace in the kitchen, but that is because there is every pot, bowl, dish and tool that you can think of! The only other drawback is that the walls/floors are thin and the sleeping loft has no door so everyone hears everything throughout the cottage. Not ideal for 20-something’s who want to sleep in while their parents are up early making coffee. But we thoroughly enjoyed said coffee on the deck and our dog was right at home too. As Amy had assured me before we booked the rental, all of the neighbors have dogs and were very dog-friendly. The neighbors right next-door and across the street could not have been nicer and more welcoming to us. Truly, this a special Maine vacation spot in a convenient mid-coast location.

The property needs a lot of updates and the caretaker needs to clean the house better. Under the current conditions, we spent many days cleaning the house.
