Villa il Giuggiolo, ancient country house with pool at Azienda Fontelunga
I our farm we have a number of houses left intact in theyr original stile.
Viila Il Giuggiolo is ancient building near a small country village in the country in front of Cortona.
Divided in 2 apartments of the same size, completely independent from each other you will have a large private area to share al tegeter with your family, 2 independent but connected large gardens ( one ofr each apartment), and private parking and entrance
The private swimming pool area is just outside the garden
In the gardens you will find barbeques, sun beds, chairs and shaded area for your outside time togeter.
Each of the two apartments has its own kitchen, and a spacious living room where you can stay all togeter for enjoiyng time.
The swimming pool area is very large and fully equipped with sun beds, shades and same tables and chairs
The peaceful corner of the valley is very easy to reach and it is not far from shops and main roads.
Also a very convenient train station is within 10 minutes drive which is a good connection with Florence, and Roma
It is also close also to Umbria, and at a short drive from main locations like Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, S Gimignano, Perugia, Assisi, Trasimeno Lake Orvieto Gubbio.
Bicycle, scooters and car rental: We can arrange rentals for any of the items mentioned, just contact us in advance

This farmhouse was perfect for our extended family vacation. We rented the entire house for a month and the space was perfect for offering privacy to individual families yet keeping us all together. The outdoor space offers versatility for morning sun and evening shade, and another spot for great afternoon sun. Michele was very responsive and helpful, and cooking class with his wife Barbara was an excellent experience.

Circa 1500 house with 2 apartments. We rented both to accommodate our party of 6. Beautiful area of Tuscany. Michele gave us great recommendations of sights to see...the city of Cortona is a must! Provided a binder with maps and QR codes for resturants which was very helpful.

Spent two weeks at La Bozza with family of six, including six-month old grandchild.
It is a comfortable and charming old house in the middle of Tuscan farmlands, ideal for all manner of holidays.
There's the pool for lazing around, the stunning Cortona township ten minutes away (close enough drive for gelati every night after dinner), a wide range of top restaurants close by and plenty of peace.
It's only some two hours, and easy to find, from Rome plus a day trip from cities such as Florence, Sienna and Assissi.
It's a most liveable, convenient, well-sorted and well-maintained holiday villa with a real sense of history. Michele and his family are very welcoming & hospitable. We'll be back!
