Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport

I chose this hotel as it's description on Booking.com said it was less than 500m from the terminal, which made it the closest hotel to the terminal when I compared it to the distances quoted by the others. it is NOT less than 500m - it is considerably MORE and is the furthest of all the hotels on the airport, NOT the closest. I chose this hotel, and paid extra, specifically as I didn't want to have walk ten minutes, late at night, with a big suitcase, after a long flight. So i was pretty fed up when that's exactly what I had to do! It's also an uphill walk back to the terminal (to collect my car the following morning) which is a pain with a lot of luggage.

We arrived at about 1030pm from the airport. The staff looked a little tired at that time in the evening but checked us in efficiently. The room was quiet, well designed and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.

We didn't like the rather mindless pop music piped everywhere on the ground floor. We did ask them to turn it down and, although they agreed, the volume did not reduce audibly.
