Albergue Monte Aro

Proximity to the trail, kindness of the staff, bathrooms were close, food was great. Cost was reasonable

The door to our private room rattled every time someone opened and closed the main door until we wedged something in it then it stopped

Montse encantadora. El sitio está a pie de camino para quien no quiera hacerse los 33km en un día y se quede en los 28km. Es relajante, tiene una terraza con bar, taquillas que no hay que pagar (por fin!!) y tendederos al aire libre. Es un albergue bonito.

Las sábanas de papel (que ya las encuentras casi en todos lados) y el hecho de que haya 3-4 baños unisex para todo el barracón. Salí llena de picaduras por todos lados, supongo que eran mosquitos o alguna arañita, pero conviene echarse repelente durante la noche.

Beautiful albergue with restaurant on site. Has limited use of air conditioner.

Bathrooms downstairs with all beds upstairs, which was significantly hotter. Has air conditioning which was great but unfortunately, refused to run it at night. After an 87 degree, hot summer day, many of us were sunburned, hot and suffering from heat exhaustion, yet the employee insisted on turning the air off before sundown. The breeze through the window was limited and unfortunately the property is on a cattle farm, so the smell permeated the room. I really wanted to love this albergue, but due to the lack of sleep, my Camino walk was severely compromised the next day.
