An experience like never before... the location the facilities the staff the owner of the property everything was 10/10... highly recommended. So helpful and accommodating and very flexible... they'd go an extra mile to make your stay comfortable and pleasant

Note: The facility has multiple options and this review is for a different (larger) apartment than the one listed on booking.com. The review should be read in that context, you may contact the host directly to book the larger apartment. The apartment is located at a stone's throw from Kashmir Point which makes it an ideal location - away from the noisy market yet close enough to reach it with 5 mints of drive. The view from the rooms is awesome while balcony is a bonus. The kitchen was equipped with working stoves, a microwave oven as well as a refrigerator along with basic utensils. The apartment has a very large living room which is handy if you are traveling with kids who need space to run around. The host is super friendly and understands well the requirements of travelers. Not only we had pleasant communication prior to stay, during the stay too, whenever we requested for something, he acted promptly. Anyone making a booking is recommended to talk to the host and seek his advice for the best option to stay. Another plus is that small restaurants and stores are just around the corner and you can grab all basic items (water, bread, other groceries) very quickly. I will strongly recommend this facility to families traveling in group.

There's nothing much to dislike about the facility, however, I have few suggestions to further enhance the experiences of the future guests. 1. The furniture is a little old, changing it would add more value to facility. 2. Cleanliness inside and outside the apartment can be improved. 3. Almost everywhere it is a standardized norm that rooms have extra mattress, extra quilts and pillows which can be used if needed. I recommend the host to keep one set in every room. (I must mention that we got these on request, hence no complains :), however, there were no sheets and one of mattresses was quite dirty, sir, please look into that). 4. Parking is a little lower from the road, vehicles with low ground clearance will surely make some sounds :) 5. A major challenge in local tourism is that in many cases, the facility is quite good but since we have to hire local caretakers/attendants, they are not trained. This point is not specific to this apartment but you face it almost all over the country. I think at national level, we need some efforts to arrange hospitality courses for local individuals working in the tourism sector.

View was excellent. Place had many small restaurants and tea places on walking distance so that was another add on. Washrooms were clean.

Location was good heating in snow was satisfactory although it stopped working because of some issue after heavy snowfall. A small kitchen was handy and hot water was available 24/7.

Beds were extremely old and uncomfortable blankets were not clean and were smelly. Beds were as hard as a rock. Furniture really needs some upgrade to make it a very good place to live.
