The New Bedford Harbor Hotel is a great place to stay if you plan to visit the New Bedford Whaling Museum, the whalers' chapel and other sites in the historic district. It is close to the main bus station and a reasonable walk to the MBTA rail station for trains to Boston. Plus you can catch high-speed ferries to MVI and Nantucket from the harbor. A good hotel in a great spot to visit New Beford.
