Localizacao
Nao estava 100% limpo (teias de aranha no teto), processo para receber o codigo do cofre da chave foi muito mau, porque pediram uma aprovacao de credito para caucao atraves de uma plataforma fora da booking. E mau e desnecessario. Tempos de resposta lentos.

Location was the only good thing about this property
Poor fixings for light switches/door handles etc. Small room, uncomfortable beds. Poor sheets etc. Shower door broken, shower not overly clean.
5.0
Good location, kitchen facilities and bathroom.
This apartment had the most ridiculous sleeping arrangement I have ever seen. You can tell from the photos that the bed is upstairs, but what you can't tell is that the bedroom is barely over 1 meter high so you can't stand in it. You have to climb the staircase then bend over and slide into the bed when you reach the top. To leave, you literally have to slide out of bed on your butt to get to the stairs. Also, the stairs are a bit treacherous and don't have a handrail. This would be completely impossible for anyone with mobility issues. The only closet in the apartment is at the back of the bedroom but I don't know how you could hang any clothes in it because that would probably require standing.
An alternative is to sleep on the sofa bed but that's next to a window with old wooden shutters that don't close and let in light from outside all night.
The property didn't send me the details on how to pick up the key in advance, as do most properties of this type. I had to call them when I arrived to get that information.

Good location
The communications to facilitate access to the apartment were very inadequate: a) I completed the request for a copy of my passport (along with times of arrival and departure, which I had already sent), and understood this would result in information about access being sent 48 hours ahead of my arrival - no such information arrived. b) Having heard nothing from you/them, I sent an email on the day of travel to Lyon i.e. 17th May, but it bounced back. c) On arrival at the 47 Rue des Remparts d'Ainay, with no one present to facilitate an entry, we spoke to someone in the office next door who said the building was empty and up for sale. You can image our concern at this point. d) I tried ringing the telephone number on the booking information sheet, and the automatic reply said that the phone was not in use. e) Someone else came to our aid in the neighbouring office and gave us another phone number to try and we reached you. But standing in the street without internet access meant that other than by direct conversation we could not receive the necessary access information. f) As an elderly couple aged 79 and 80 the only solution was to find a hotel, which we did and paid 136.30 euros for an overnight stay. g) At the hotel, I decided to try your number again and was told to go back to the apartment and the access instructions would be given. By this time we were tired and I said that I needed it to be given to me directly over the phone and for us to go later.
Having paid for the apartment accommodation and complied with all requests, I think we should be reimbursed for the amount paid for unnecessary overnight stay at a hotel, caused by your inadequate communications. Even this would not repay for the anxiety and concern of trying to resolve this booked accommodation and having to find somewhere to stay at a busy holiday period in the city.

Location.
Not enough towels for the number of guests booked. Broken chair, no WiFi, lots of dirt, a couple spiders. The problems were ignored by the host, except for the WiFi, I was told to reboot the router but there was no router anywhere.

Honestly only the location.
When we got there the rooms hadn’t been cleaned. It also reeked of tobacco in one of the rooms. The staff was helpful when we were staying at the property, now they won’t respond regarding compensation for the smelly room which they promised on scene.

Fantastic location, great check in instructions and the quietest property I’ve stayed in while touring Europe.
I take absolutely no pleasure in writing bad reviews but this needs to be shared. The property at first glance is lovely - however upon close inspection it is tired, dirty and comprised of cheap fittings.
The kitchen and bathroom taps were loose and rattled around. The kettle was filthy and after boiling and scrubbing several times, still had white floating membranes inside. The crockery was very odd - many plates, one bowl and no wine glasses (in France???) but plenty of plastic disposable cups. The coffee table in the lounge did not exist (like shown in the photos) and the occasional chair was broken, with the seat and legs totally detached.
Upstairs in the loft, the edge railing was covered in a thick layer of dust, and the light fittings were even worse. The blankets on the couch were filthy and covered in stains - I doubt they have ever seen the inside of the washing machine.
The bathroom (while clean and tidy) was comically small. As a guy who is 6’2” I’m not short, but not overly tall, however it was impossible to sit on the toilet and let for very creative encounters.
During my stay the wifi wasn’t working. The communication from the company was fantastic and they were very prompt at apologising and reassuring they were looking into it, however I never received any positive confirmation at the issue was ever resolved.

Absolutely great location for exploring the city, near convenience stores and small restaurants and bars. Nice surroundings with local people. The flat was really well decorated with earthlike colors.
The traffic noise from the big street nearby is obvious.

The flat is comfortabel enough. You get what you see on the site: clean and efficient in a building with a lot of charm.
There are quite some restaurants close by and Perrache station is walking distance. However, we ended up taking metro/tram/bus a lot - fortunately it is well connected and Lyon has a very low priced family ticket
Some travel on public transport for practically any sight or museum is needed (the open-air Olympic pool at the river bank is only a stroll away though)

Apartment was remodeled yet maintained the original character of older years. Location was excellent. Able to walk to everything. Restaurant Cafe L'Ilot was a wonderful place to go everyday. Safe and clean neighborhood.
Main walkway through apartment had broken tiles, very difficult to step over, refrigerator was dirty on arrival, needed deep cleaning throughout apartment.

This was one of the nicest stays I had. The location was superb, the apartment well organized and with everything required. The small apartment was very well arranged for a good use of small space and felt relaxed and spacious. The furnishings were very nice. There was more than enough storage space, and everything was easy to use.
The apartment was on the first floor (one stairway up) so it was easy to reach) and in an old building that stayed relatively cool despite the 38/39 degree heat.
The staff were excellent. Both the administration who provided me a fan to help sleeping at night, and the cleaning staff who checked if I needed anything during my 9 day stay for work.
And the location! Food stores everywhere, backeries, butcher shops, greengrocers.
Within easy walking distance of Bellecour, Shopping areas, so much. Only 20 min walk to Opera.
You should note that the bed in in a loft accessible by a stairs which is ladder-like. If you find this difficult to negotiate you should reconsider this place.
The Wifi was excellent, superb, better than many office Wifis. I had to do a lot of Web conferences and had no issues whatsoever.
This place is about 5 min walk to the nearest subway station. It is 10 -15 min walk to the Lyon Perrache train station.
There is only one little thing. Proper knives for food preparation. I've learned that this is the most likely absence and now bring a small camping kit with a decent paring knive so I can cook.

Location, cleanliness, shower
Not for tall people. Wardrobe on the second floor not usable, because of the very low ceiling.

the location and setup of the property was phenomenal.
They did not respond to us for over 24hours and only did when threatened with a negative review. They had a washer/dryer machine that was absolutely useless and did not dry at all. On top of it all the house is a deadzone for service and their wifi did not work at all. Completely went out whenever we needed to use it and would never return. They did not take responsibility or make an effort to fix it and instead blamed them having so many properties to manage, pathetic.

I decided not to stay at this place because it did not match the description that was provided online by the hotel. I was surprised. It has deteriorated.
The hotel’s appearance and smell gave me a terrible impression. They have not keep up with this place in a while. It does not have a lobby, dark long hallway that leads to the stairs. Garbage cans next to the stairs that emanate smell. Certainly overpriced for what it really is. No wonder why they have such a strict cancellation policy. They make money whether you use their hotel or not. I left the place as soon as I walked in. To me this is a misrepresentation of what they offer online.
