L House was everything I hoped for and more. It’s probably the best value for money I’ve ever experienced from a hotel. The Grandma who runs the place was extremely accommodating, kept giving me fruit from the garden, and when I arrived they said how I’d been upgraded as I was the only person staying at the time. I saw the original room I was supposed to get and still, absolutely incredible value for money. I loved it so much I decided to stay another night. If you’re looking for authentic Georgian charm then this place has it in spades. It’s the best place I’ve stayed in a long time and I feel especially lucky as I booked it fairly randomly and last minute.

This is the best place I have stayed in Georgia by a million miles, and it’s one of my favourite places I’ve stayed ever. Lali and Liza are truly beautiful people and are the embodiment of Georgian hospitality. I simply cannot thank them enough for their generosity and I cannot recommend staying here more. It’s a beautiful home, so warm, really comfortable and relaxed. Eating Lali’s delicious breakfast on the balcony with the amazing views of the mountains is absolutely perfect. I’m so sad to have left! Didi madloba!!

Все хорошо. Прекрасная хозяйка. Тихо.
Комната немного маловата.

Very personal and welcoming hosts. Lali, a former doctor, and her granddaughter Liza (who is already playing her own very open and cheerful part in hosting) are every helpful and friendly. They have told me a lot about Georgia, introduced me to Georgian food (self made, with fruits and spices from the garden - delicious!), and taught me with great patience Georgian words. We had interesting conversations about and politics, education and culture in Georgia and abroad. It is a wonderful place to get in touch with local people (who also respect when one needs some time for themselves).
