Ubicato in Grand Marais, questo delizioso casa a 220 € per notte è un eccellente scelta per il tuo prossimoviaggio. Questo affascinante bungalow si trova vicino al porto del Grand Marais. Posizione perfetta per coloro che godono di un'atmosfera tranquilla vicino al Lake Superior Harbour e di un comodo accesso a piedi a tutti i ristoranti, negozi e pub del centro.
Interni completamente ristrutturati (maggio 2017) con pavimenti in legno, una cucina ben attrezzata e una sala per la pioggia con televisione (senza cavo, piatto o Roku) per film e sistemi di gioco della vecchia scuola. Portico tre stagioni pieno di sole che si affaccia sul lago e si affacciano fuori dalla porta d'ingresso per godersi la fresca brezza del Lago Superiore. Secondo ponte nel cortile con amaca e lettini a dondolo. Molto pulito e confortevole Cinque posti letto comodamente con un letto matrimoniale, pieno e due letti singoli.
La Harbor Home include una griglia, biciclette, canne da pesca, kayak e kajak da carrello: una cinghia attacca il carrello al kayak e si può andare a piedi in spiaggia e fare kayak in pochi minuti.

The house was warm and welcoming. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location was perfect for walking to town and the lake. Also access to nearby hiking trails.

The location is ideal. It is directly across from the camping area and the docks. The neighborhood was quiet. We didn't hear traffic from the main road. It is easy to get around town walking.
The photographs are not accurate.
There were no privacy shades on several windows. (all of the kitchen windows, the porch windows, front windows in living room and the bathroom window didn't have shades- the bathroom window is up high though)
The back door deadbolt lock off of the kitchen didn't work. The door knob lock worked. The little slide lock in the kitchen photograph didn't work.
I did not appreciate the fact that I had to clean the bathroom tub for my family. It was beyond dirty. (the shower curtain was growing pink too.)
The television room is inside a walk-in closet off the master bedroom. The gaming system was not hooked up and it was not worth the time to figure it out. We did not come to watch television and didn't see if that part worked.
The bikes were not ready. The tires were not inflated properly. The tire pump provided didn't work. The front sprocket on one of the bikes is bent and the chain came off. One of the bikes was walked to town for air.
We were told we could use the washer and dryer, however the washer and dryer were behind a locked door.
The one fishing pole that was available was not ready to be used. It was not strung properly.
FYI the mattresses are foam.
I think things could have been better for $1600.00-5 day stay.

House had everything I needed. Enjoyed the full-size shower and HOT water. Bed was comfortable. Liked the remodeled kitchen, and especially the table bathed in sunlight. This is a perfect place for a couple to stay! Just the right size for two! Loved being IN Grand Marais, rather than out of town. Highly recommend!

Three of us stayed in the house. From the moment we opened the door, we liked the overall feel of the place. It was clean, everything worked as expected, and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and utensils, as well as pots and pans. The owners are very friendly and respond quickly to questions. We will definitely look to see if this property is available when we visit Grand Marais in the future.

We have always loved staying at this location. Our last stay was 2 years back and the price has doubled since then. We can't believe with the high price that a cleaning fee is still required after we wash the dishes and sweep the floor. This was our last stay. We love Grand Marais but will be looking for a more affordable venue.

We traveled to Grand Marais to possibly do some Moose sighting on the Gunflint Trail but it was raining/snowing and very windy. Due to thee weather, we weren't able to use the amenities at Harbor Home such as the deck, grill and convenient location to town as planned. But it was an interesting stay.

All was well with our stay at Harbor Home. The location is terrific for enjoying downtown Grand Marais. The bed is exceptionally comfortable which is a big deal to us older folks!
We found everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom.
We would have preferred having the tv in the living room with cable access.
The cement steps to the driveway should be replaced as it would be easy for someone to fall.
Hopefully we will be back next year!

I assumed there was a TV, since there was a DVD player listed, but there was no television (we just like watching the news) -- and I even brought some DVDs with me, but the DVDset up was in a back "closet" -- I thought that was odd, and NOT conducive to watching a movie with anyone else. We also arrived back to the house after an afternoon outing, and there was a big two- foot puddle surrounding the refridgerater. Something leaking in the refridgerater, and that should be addressed. The house, altho' cute in decor, was VERY close to the neighbors on each side, and the tiny deck out back overlooked a big propane tank. I assumed there were laundry facilities, too, and that's my fault. The owners were nice, in my impression, but I had higher expectations with the rental.

The Harbor House is a supercute small home just up the hill from the Grand Marais Municipal Campground. This means easy access to hiking, beachfront, activities, and downtown. All in easy walking distance. The home is cozy, with a quirky nautical theme. Our kids were a little creeped out by the "sweater shark" but that was negligible. They loved the little game room! The kitchen/dining area was perfect for mealtimes. The bunk beds are a bit on the noisy side, so if you have picky sleepers you should let them know.
