The breakfast was excellent - we would definitely recommend including this. The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. The location and views from the property were stunning.

The third bedroom is a bit small and the top bunk was too high. Would be useful to have places to hang towels and places/shelves to put soap/shampoo when showering.

Laiza was an excellent caretaker. Attended to all queries and arranged fun activities for us during our stay. Will definitely recommend as long as Laiza is on duty. Also, it’s right by the beach which was beautiful. The front garden was also very well maintained and colourful.

It has been a great experience with Maite and Laiza! The entire staff is super helpful, happy and friendly. Always ready to help if needed. The apartment is great: directly on the beach and with the needs to cook if you would want to. The shower is great and the room is spacious. I was a little hesitant reading some of the reviews; but also I can confirm this ja the BEST place to stay in Kiwenga! Don’t hesitate and book!

It’s location on the beachfront is very ideal for relaxation and spending time with family. there are good restaurants nearby (The Beach Lounge Zanzibar), nearby shops/small market and beach sporting activities (Duotone Sporting). Great for Outdoor fun. Host was very responsive and kind.

We enjoyed the view of the beach from the apartment, The garden (for those staying at ground floor), and the location for the restaurants.

The apartment really is on the beach and all the staff were wonderful. The apartments have been refurbished but there is still work to do but the price reflects this. Quality/price was excellent.

The beach directly in front was kept clean by Surfscape but sadly the common areas of the beach are not the cleanest, the sea was great though.

It's one of the best accommodations we've had on holidays. It is located right on the beach at walking distance from restaurants and bars. Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Laiza, who helps us a lot with everything we need. I recommend this accommodation for everyone who wants a relaxing holiday.

Received by very friendly team. Second visit, improved facilities. Very well renovated. New floor, new paint, new shower facilities. All was in tip top condition. I love the garden which makes it very private but your still right on the first line of the beach. located in the quiet corner of Kiwengwa beach it was the perfect location for me. 5 minute walking distance to little restaurants on the beach … but far enough not to be bothered by noise. Perfect spot for the ultimate relaxation.

Amazing place, we would return 100%. Good location, good maintenance and cleanliness. Staff is super kind and helpful, especially Laiza and Maite, the best hosts.

Sometimes the locals who walk around there can get a bit heavy, although the staff keeps them away, for everything else great.

The place is amazing! Just next to the beach, quiet area and nice apartment. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms very good. Definitely the best (hot & powerful) shower I ever had in Tanzania! We stayed at the ground floor and could enjoy a private front yard with a hammock and sunbeds facing the beach/ sea. Little cocking are that was sufficient for our stay. Staff are very helpful! ( They helped us after my friend got stung by a sea urchin and we got a new kettle when ours didn’t work) Kiwengwa is cute, little town with some local food places and bars. Beach was nice but swimming during low tide should only be done with watershoes due to sea ulchins. We rented a car, that was the easiest to get here and to go around for dinner.

The living room/ kitchen area doesn’t have a nice sitting area. There is a small kind of sofa, but we would have preferred something more comfortable and bigger since it doesn’t fit 4 people.

The place is amazing location beach front, the sunrise is unreal, and it's fairly modern and clean, highly recommend the rooms upstairs, the downstairs room look like they are undergoing renovations, the location is not far from restaurants, meals can be found nearby so can local grocery, there's a fish market right outside around noon, the beach is decent for swimming if you don't mind the seaweed or swim a couple meters in its fine and warm water, , you get what you are paying for it's not the 5 star experience of course but it's much better than alot of other places I found on the island especially if you like your privacy, all of the activities are nearby as well, snorkeling is a 20minute drive, nungwi Beach is 20-25minutes, you can find horse riding and jetski nearby too, nearby restaurant on the water as well

We stayed 5 nights and there's not much to complain about place is worth the price we paid for sure, I was hesitant to book because the reviews are a bit harsh, but the place is not that terrible as people make it seem. Some things they can improve on are this: I would have preferred a washing station or hose upstairs, I did see them downstairs but the sand does get into the apartment if you don't wash it off before coming in. The fridge stank but who's cooking on vacation anyways, the power went out twice but was back pretty quickly, There are alot of ants, spiders etc on the Terrance and also there was small lizards too (one was inside the room) but we didn't really mind them, part of being on an island I guess, the only one thing that bothered our group was the staff was pretty invasive of our space, once they entered our apartment with the keys, didn't even knock while we were inside(apologized after), we are a group of guys so it was fine but I'm guessing it might be a little annoying as a couple. Besides that place was perfect would Definitely recommend and come back.

AMAZING STAY!! stayed to work at Surfescape Zanzibar and I really enjoyed it, great Wifi and views. The place has been recently renovated, apartment is brand new. Staff (Laiza and Prisca) are very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast and kite lessons onsite too!

Right from Check In Assistance, courtesy Laiza, Bakary, Alice, we had a warm welcome. The apartments are a perfect decision including great view, neighborhood, restaurants options, they already had take away fliers in apartments. The apartments are spik and span clean, well maintained, good wifi, smart tv, very organised house keeping staff. The kitchen is well equipped, great balcony, interiors are aesthetic and convenient. The showers, room furniture, balcony settings are great. There are cool shopping options nearby for traditional souvenirs. Overall, we had a great stay.....and highly recommended to all opting this property !!

Honestly, one of those stays when it's really difficult to remark room for improvement.....it was all good !!
