The beds need to be updated, nothing but foam on old mattress or pull out murphy bed not comfortable, no pull out in the couch as advertised when we booked, thankfully Property Manager took care of blow up bed for family who were supposed to stay in couch fold out.

Overall our stay was great! The views were even better than they look in pictures. The décor was very cute and everything was clean. It was plenty of space for two adults and 3 teens. The property was lush and very well kept - it looked like a pacific resort. I felt very safe letting my teen girls walk around the property. It was very close to the restaurants at the Harbor.
The couple of improvements I would suggest: the listing does not state that there is no air conditioning. The first I saw this was in the contract after I booked through VRBO. It worked out fine, but you need to leave the patio doors open at night to keep it from getting a little warm. The second is the frying pans are very warped so it was hard to cook anything evenly in them. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. I would definitely recommend!

this property is absolutely beautiful. Everything about it was great, very clean and well organized. We had everything that we needed to make this day comfortable. If we needed anything, the property management was very attentive. We will definitely stay here again.

An annual extended weekend with our son and daughter-in-law was a success once again thanks to our stay at Bluewater Retreat. The condo was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We prepared dinner two nights and ate out one. Due to the stormy weather we were not able to enjoy the beach but couldn’t have asked for a better indoor get away. The gym at NCV is clean and there is plenty of equipment to enjoy. The hot tub/spa was perfect on a drizzly evening. Aaron, the property manager was responsive to our inquiries and sent Patrol out to light the pilot light in the fireplace right away. Unfortunately, the mechanism was not cooperative so we didn’t have a fire. This was not a problem, but will hopefully be repaired for the next guest. All in all, a wonderful three day weekend!

Had an amazing stay at this property, the view on the balcony and upper deck were awesome! The size was perfect for a family of 4. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was a little small but utensils were complete. One of the burners had issues on our first day but maintenance came next day, we were able to use the other burners….not a deal breaker for us. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again.

Spent a week here over thanksgiving with our family of 5. Condo was clean & nicely decorated. Great location with easy access to beach. Walking distance to shops & restaurants. Easy on/off hwy. kitchen had everything we needed to serve Thanksgiving feast! Upper deck is great spot to watch surf in the morning & sunsets in the evenings.

The property and location was excellent, having no AC during a heat wave made it impossible to be inside the unit and sleep at night. Also, it was very loud due to our unit being close to the pool and tons of loud kids. Would never stay there again

This unit was great and had everything we needed. The little gold course for kids was awesome. Walking distance to the beach was superb. It is about 17 mins away from Legoland, which isn’t far at all. Downstairs has the double beds and upstairs had one bed. Bring your own detergent as they don’t supply any. I believe only a couple of units have AC, so it does get really stuffy. There are ceiling fans and with the windows open, we were able to get some reprieve from the heat.We’d stay here again for sure.

I have stayed at North Coast Village for years. My parents lived there when our kids were young. This property is defiantly a do over. It was beautifully decorated, well furnished, and such an amazing view. The only suggestion would be more towels, and we never had access to our second parking slot and the guard shack people were not helpful. But overall, this is a wonderful vacation condo and would highly recommend it and when we come back we hope it will be available.

Amazing view and Condo
I have stayed at North Coast Village for years. My parents lived there when our kids were young. This property is defiantly a do over. It was beautifully decorated, well furnished, and such an amazing view. The only suggestion would be more towels, and we never had access to our second parking slot and the guard shack people were not helpful. But overall, this is a wonderful vacation condo and would highly recommend it and when we come back we hope it will be available.

Great place
We loved our time here. Great location right in the beach. Loved having the pools and hot tub as well. Everything was clean and stocked. Beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed having the two patios and watching the surfers and relaxing in the sun.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed the two balconies with ocean views with views to the garden and swimming pool. We appreciated the location on the edge of town for less traffic but still an easy walk for dinner and shopping. Condo was furnished just right for our needs. The only disappointment for our group was the beds. The main bedroom had a cabinet/fold out bed and the mattress was not comfortable, you could feel the bed frame underneath. The second bedroom mattresses were very thick foam, while comfortable, they were too hot for our teenagers to sleeping well. This may not be an issue for others just thought I’d share. Regardless, we would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed the two balconies with ocean views with views to the garden and swimming pool. We appreciated the location on the edge of town for less traffic but still an easy walk for dinner and shopping. Condo was furnished just right for our needs. The only disappointment for our group was the beds. The main bedroom had a cabinet/fold out bed and the mattress was not comfortable, you could feel the bed frame underneath. The second bedroom mattresses were very thick foam, while comfortable, they were too hot for our teenagers to sleeping well. This may not be an issue for others just thought I’d share. Regardless, we would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Great location, steps from the beach, easy parking, great pool. The remodeled unit is very nice, with the upper level deck being a great place to hang out. Beautiful ocean views as well as a nice view of the ocean from the decks.
The unit was clean and had basic kitchen supplies, but still limited and some items in the kitchen were just worn out (simple thigs like pans, broken (no handle) spatula, etc.) Just needs some basic attention. We also had to deal with quite a few very small ants in the kitchen and bathrooms. Completely understand that these small ants are hard to control, but there was not insect spray, etc to help us take care of them.
The property had a very long list of rules and it is clear on what you can and can not do. They make it clear that security patrol is always watching you and you need to follow the rules. Not an issue for us, but good for people to know before they show up... be prepared to read and follow the rules. The positive of this is that the grounds are beautiful, it is generally quiet, the pool hours are respected, and I don't think anyone would dare have a party of any kind on this property.
The other things people should be aware of is the set up for this unit. The upstairs master has a smallish bed, it might be a queen, but seems shorter than a normal queen due to the design of the bed. I think this is because that is all that would navigate the steep/narrow staircase to get upstairs. The size of the beds wasn't a huge issue (but did make us laugh a little)... but the "softness" of the mattresses was an issue. All three beds are VERY soft, like sink into them. We were all suffering from sore backs after our three nights in these beds. Personal preference.. maybe some people want beds this "super soft", but they seemed to be on the extreme side of "soft" and made a good nights sleep difficult.

This unit was fully equipped. The decor was fresh and clean. The views of the pool, putting green, tropical gardens, not to mention the ocean and pier were all more that we expected. It had everything we wanted. Walking distance to the harbor and pier. Steps to the sand! Pool tables, gym, gym, hot tub all amazing! Waterfalls and koi pond and birds of paradise were beautiful too. We found 2 fresh off the boat fish markets within walking distance and enjoyed some fresh fish in our kitchen. It felt like Maui in Cali! Can't wait to go back. It even came with 3 beach chairs and a collapsible beach wagon. It advertised a beach umbrella but it was missing. Our only ask would be for different beach chairs. Something easier for seniors with bad knees to get out of, higher off the ground. Otherwise 5 stars all-around!! Can't wait to return.

We arrived in late Jan which was very cold where we live but perfect weather in Oceanside. The condo was clean, recently remodeled, had nice views of the ocean from living room and bedrooms and a short walk to the harbor and pier. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
