The 120-year-old traditional Kyoto townhouse was absolutely magnificent—so well-maintained, comfortable, and perfectly located. It truly enhanced our experience of the city, and we felt so lucky to call it our temporary home.

The whole house was beautiful and clean! The kitchen was fully prepared and facilities were convenient. An incoming hurricane almost screwed up my travel plans, but the owner reached out and offered an extra night should my Shinkansen get canceled. I declined and weather turned out okay, but still a very nice gesture. He was also willing to communicate in English for important and timely information. This location was also very close to Nijou castle, so that was very cool! I highly recommend this location!

Great job preserving the traditional look and feel but still with AC!

No complaints!
