We had a wonderful time and it was perfect from the back of the house to just walk out. Susan was great and quick to respond when needed.

Perfection. I can see where others might have issues with the efficiency apartments and walking thru bedrooms to get to them, but for us it wasn't that big if deal. Susan and her husband were very quick with any issues (there were bery few)and restaurant suggestions! We will be back. Thank uou so much.

Property was unique in the two efficiencies that were in front of building. Even though you had to walk thru a bedroom on each side to get to these areas, it worked out good for our group. The lower deck was great and the upper deck was large and could accommodate a lot of people. This would be a great place in the summer with the abundant shade. The house is stocked nicely and lots os seating area. Don't think you would be disappointed renting this place.

Great location….beach was wonderful…weather was perfect! Stores and restaurants were within walking distance…lots to do…we took the Shell Key Shuttle over to Shell Key island for a few hours one day..nice shelling and bird watching. The house was very comfortable….big open area in the kitchen, family room and dining room…great for a group of friends/family.

This house was perfect for our family. The large deck on the gulf side was an added plus. I would stay here again.

We came down to fish. I only put okay on location bc that depends on what kinda location you prefer. We like to go where theres few people. If you like the night life you will love this place. Susan was amazing. She gave us tips on any question we had. As far as the fishing it was not as we hoped for on the surf. We went to both skyway piers and caught fish and things nobody knew what they were.

Walk out the back door to the beach. Very relaxing place to stay. Looking forward to stay again with family.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. The beach was not congested at all and the sunsets were breath taking. Like most of the other reviews, the layout of the bedrooms lack some privacy, but it didn't take away from our amazing time spent there. We would definitely stay again. I want to give the propery owner(Susan), a shout out. Her communication leading up to our stay was great and I wanted to says thanks for that.

The house has a great location. We were very pleased with the house and all of its furnishings. It was nice walking out the back of the house to the beach. We would definitely use this house again.

My family had the best time at this property. We had plenty of room inside the house and the whole beach area for outside fun. The owner was nice and helpful.

We all loved this spacious beach house. No roads to cross with kids in tow. It's perfect for young ones as it has a huge covered deck area in the back with shade for barbecue fun. The top above the deck is also perfect for watching the sunsets and the many parrots that live on the island. The house was very clean and the location perfect for doing just about anything you want to do. Grocery store just down the road. The owners are easy to get in touch with too if there are any problems. We made fun family memories to last a lifetime. We plan on coming back sometime in the future.

As the reviews said it is set up a bit different but it worked very well for us, we had 5 small children. The weather was great so we spent all of our time outside. The deck area is great, shade for kids in the mid afternoon plenty of chairs,beach towels,umbrellas for the beach and toys for the kids. The beach was beautiful. The house is not fancy but the location is phenomenal. We would stay there again

So glad we found this perfect location, where we could walk the beach long distances and collect shells. The outside space and decks were enjoyed as much as the living space. We hope to be back!

Our extended family rented the Bama house for Christmas. The views from the main living area and porch are phenomenal! Each sunset was like a green screen set. Photos can't do it justice. From the porch there is a short meandering trail thru sea grasses which takes you onto a sleepy stretch of beautifully white sand beach. We all enjoyed many sunrise and sunset walks. the home is half way between Caddys and Sloppy Joes. Both restaurant/bars are a short beach walk and both establishments are beach side with outdoor seating and great views. Many more restaurants and bars and the Publix grocery are all within walking distance. Many reviews have mentioned the two efficiency apartments which have connecting doors to the main house in addition to exterior doors. We locked the connecting doors and utilized these apartments to our advantage. Some less social family members prefer more privacy and therefore enjoyed having this space separate from the main house, using only the exterior doors to come and go. The main house has three bedrooms and two hall bathrooms. We appreciated that the bathrooms were in the hall and therefore we didn't have to walk thru anyones bedroom to access them. Each of the two efficiency apartments has its own bathroom along with a kitchenette with sink , 2 stove top burners and mini fridge. The listing photos show wall AC units but these are defunct and the entire home including the efficiency apartments are on central AC. The home had plenty of bath towels and beach towels and beach supplies. We enjoyed the use of the charcoal grill, out door shower/foot bath, hammock and lounge chairs. There is plenty of space for meal time. 8 at the kitchen table, 5 bar stools, seating for 6 at the porch table and seating for 8 at the porch high top bar (my favorite spot to watch the sunset). The house is easy to maneuver for those who have mobility issues. Our Nanna uses a walker and had no problems. She needed assistance at the exterior entrance only. Access to the home is beach side. There is a sidewalk along one side (no steps). There are three steps to get in (sturdy handrail is in place) and that's it unless you are in the efficiency apartment or want to go up on the roof. Some of the furnishing have been updated since the listing photos were taken. It's an older home but very comfortable, well equipped, well maintained home with jaw dropping ocean views.

This was a great place to bring a large group together. Right on the ocean and within walking distance to many places. Very spacious and the owners were great!

In my opinion the only thing good about this property is the location to the beach. The bedroom layout leaves no privacy whatsoever you have to enter other bedrooms to exit into living room. Property owner is rude. Very little communication.

We picked this house because it was on the beach and close to the airport. We had a house full of young adults so it was convenient for many reasons. The owner was very responsive to questions.

Loved the beach accessibility right out the door. Enjoyed the large deck. The kitchen/living area is perfect for gathering with family. I think the advertisement should explain that to get to the bedrooms, you must walk through a bedroom. A dishwasher would make this place even more wonderful. Owners are very responsive to any needs or questions. Overall, it was lovely and would stay there again.
