San Gimignano Apartment in the Heart of the City for 3 People: Fast Wi-Fi, Concierge Service
Our apartment is located right in the centre of the charming medieval hill-top town, San Gimignano. The town is famous all over the world for the skyline of its medieval towers and it is ideally located in the heart of the Chianti region.
San Gimignano is surrounded by gorgeous countryside, with valleys and hills covered with vineyards, olive groves and woodland. Siena, Florence and all the other main art towns of Tuscany are easily accessible thanks to the nearby road and rail links in Poggibonsi.
We are located in the main street of the historical centre of San Gimignano, Via San Matteo, inside the city walls. We are at 50mt from the gate of San Matteo, the Northern entrance gate of the town. A short walk to the beautiful squares of the medieval town and its imposing towers. At the gate of via San Matteo you can find the nearest bus stop to local cities like Siena, Florence and Volterra.
We are a short walk from the main squares of the city and countless architectural works, including the beautiful Romanesque cathedral, il Duomo. San Gimignano is located in a strategic position to explore the surroundings and the main cities of art in Tuscany, such as Siena (34 km). Florence (49 km), Volterra (30 km), Pisa (90 km), Colle Val D'Elsa (10 km), Monteriggioni (20 km) and Montalcino (90 km), which can easily be visited in one full day.
Of particular interest is the scenic Chianti Classico (30 km) with the ancient villages of Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti Greve in Chianti and the Crete Senesi (40 km) with Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni.
The apartment faces on our lovely patio, a nice quiet corner to enjoy your stay peacefully.
You can find free and fast wifi everywhere.
We provide useful information on free parking areas at 5 to 10 minutes by foot from the apartment.
We also provide discounts for local restaurants and a map with all the information to enjoy your stay in San Gimignano at its fullest.
On request, we can provide pick up service to and from Pisa and Florence airports or from Pisa/Florence/Poggibonsi's train stations.
Within walking distance you can find duty-free shops, bakeries, bars, restaurants, two chemists, newsagents, two tobacconists, grocery shops, wash and dry, wine cellars and hairdressers.
Daily cleaning service on request, sustainable soaps, terry towels and a hair dryer.
At the reception, you can ask us for wine tours and tastings, cooking classes and local and regional tours, transfer to/for airport or train station. Service concierge.

A little hard to find, but once your there it could not be better. Marta and Bianca were more than helpful. Bianca even drove us to our car outside the wall and led us to the closest place to park. Best location in the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Our cosy little part of the palazzo was wonderful and our host sent us to an amazing array of restaurants. We had a wonderful time.

The owners were wonderful, easy to talk to, recommendations for place to visit, good restaurants, parking ideas, cooking classes and anything else we wanted to know. The apartment was clean, comfortable. It was on the second floor (European first floor) so baggage had to be hauled - no elevators in this 500 year old building. :)

Die Lage der Wohnung ist nahezu ideal, ruhig und zentral. Auch hat uns die stilgerechte Einrichtung der Wohnung ls auch des Hauses gut gefallen. Sehr freundliche Leute. Zu empfehlen.
